We got these so quickly we couldn't get around to installing them for another week. When we did I am happy to say these cellular shades are really nice as just as we hoped and expected. Very easy smooth operation and they look really nice. I like the smaller cells and I'm happy with my choice. Great sale price too! Just wish we could have afforded to do the whole house. We'll wait for next year's sale for the rest.
I mentioned in the comments section that I needed extra long cords because the blind was over a doorway. That was overlooked, so I called customer service and it was resolved right away! Thank you, so much.

This is my second order with Blindster. I am extremely pleased with the product. I installed them myself. No problem. Customer service is outstanding
I have placed two separate orders. The first one I have received and I really like the quality of the blinds. Both of the orders that I placed I received an email saying "it is rare but the material that I ordered is on backorder". I don't see it as rare since it has happened to me 2 out of 2 times.
The price is right but it took a month to build my order of only 3 blinds. I placed an order on June 1st and it still hasn't arrived despite the website promising a much shorter timeline for production and shipping. The person from blindster i spoke with on the phone last week (6/20/16) said it would be completed by the end of that week (6/24/16) and that they would ship it 2-day fedex. It wasn't shipped until 6/28/16 despite receiving an email from blindster that it was shipped on 6/25/16.
I never received an update from blindster until I contacted them. They apologized and said they would speed up my shipping but apparently they don't have a good line of communication with their manufacturers (even though that seems like their only job). If you're in a hurry or have expectations for a reliable timeframe, go with someone else.
I'm so sorry for the delay!
Our factory has had backorder issues during the month lf June. This is very rare and is usually resolved very quickly. Unfortunately, this factory has had trouble getting the material they needed from their supplier.
The material has been received by the factory. Unfortunately, the delay in receiving the material was way longer and there were many orders that needed to be made once the material was received. This large volume of orders then take a while to make. They have been working on Saturday and Sunday every weekend to get back to our normal production time of 3 to 5 business days. We expect to be back to normal within the next 2 weeks.
There is no excuse for this delay but I did want to give you an explanation. I apologize again for the delay and really appreciate your patience. Your order did ship out on June 28th by FedEx 2 day air delivery.
Product looked as good in person as it did online. Quality blind, not flimsy, priced reasonably and received in a reasonable amount of time.

I measured, order and installed (with a bit of help) with absolutely no problems. Nice quality blinds, easy to do and fast to come. I have ordered a couple times from them for my house and rentals.
The blinds are great. The button used to raise and lower them is a pleasure to use.
The only suggestion I would make to Blindster would be to improve their instructions to match the blinds better.
Flexible company; wanted to use the sale but hadn't picked our color yet. Able to order the blinds but have the order held until our samples arrived and we could pick just the perfect color. We still were able to take advantage of the sale prices. Easy online website to use to find what we wanted.
Absolutely delighted when I asked about replacing a blinds order that they offered to do so and encouraged me to donate old ones to a charity. Wonderful customer service!
Customer Service before & after purchase was excellent! This company really does stand behind their advertising & products. Received lots of good info from reps as I was on-line shopping that helped me make my selections in purchasing faux wood blinds for the first time. Two inch blinds are of very good quality & look great hanging 2 on 1 head rail. Have received many compliments from family & friends!

I contacted Blindster on June 1,5 days after I expected the blind to arrive. Only then did they inform me the material was on back order, due to arrive at factory in 9 days. My blind would be made immediately and shipped, I was told. I wasn't troubled by the out of stock back order so much as that Blindster did not contact me OR update my order status. NOTE: On first post I neglected to mention they gave me a 10% discount for the delay. That was appreciated.
June 21st: still no blind and no communication from Blindster via email or order status update... Called company... Yes fabric had arrived, but could not give me any information on my blind. Said I should try calling back in a few days. Called on June 24. Rep thought I'd receive shipping info on 6/27. We'll see if that happens.
Phone reps have always been polite and apologetic. If the company would have kept me informed with requiring me to initiate and call back for info, my rating would be higher.
UPDATE: 5:50pm 6/27: Received note from Blindster refunding an additional 20% due to additional delay and lack of communication. The refunds show the company is responsive and are enough for me to bump up my review to "Average." Will update again when product finally arrives...

I completely understand your dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, this factory did not notify us until very late, around the time you called us the first time. That doesn't excuse this type of service and I have addressed this issue with the factory.
