Received shipment on time and outside of packaging did not look as though it had any damage.
However, After opening the box, the end that has the drawstring (the main carriage), was bent on both forward and aft vertical sides and one inside stiffener that is curled was dinged. One of the caps that act as a filler to the bottom section at each end, it falls out VERY easily, just need to tip it down and out it comes. I straightened out the bends pretty well, can't see it after it was installed and added a touch of silicon to the loose end piece and now stays in.
Other than those items, it looks good and works good. Just seems like there was not that close attention to the handling before it was shipped. Not worth the trouble of returning it.
Love the blinds I ordered. They make ordering so easy. They arrived when I was told they would. They look great in my living room. I will be ordering from Blindster again.
We are pleased with the price and shipment. However, the instruction is not clear at all... We had to reinstall the mount a few times. You should provide a video online for us to follow. The chain is not as smooth as we expected. We have to be very careful when we roll it up or down. We don't understand why the security thing comes with a spring. It makes it more difficult to install. Overall, you really need to improve the instruction.
I have placed several small orders with Blindster over the last two years and have been very pleased with the products and price. I received 1 defective blind a couple of orders ago and they promptly replaced it.
The blind came in damaged, (Bent in the middle). I was told they were getting another one ready and it would be on its way. That was several weeks ago. Where is my blind?
I'm sorry you had to wait so long for your new blind. I show that they tried to deliver your new blind last Saturday, 6/4 and were unable to deliver because the business was closed. I have sent you the FedEx tracking information. They should deliver your new blind today or tomorrow. I apologize for the inconvenience.
First time I have ordered anything. The experience was great. The vertical blinds arrived on time and were very easy to install. The also look amazing. I am very proud of myself for doing that. Thank you.
My first purchase, I ordered blinds for my front windows because the sun coming in was unbearable. They came, I installed, it was perfect. Then we said, a blind would look good on that window, than another room. Always easy to order, came in reasonable time, and fit perfect. Good quality, nice color supply, easy instillation, and they give the room a calm, clean look. I love them.
We are very happy and satisfied with our solar shade. We sent our measurements to the company and it fits perfectly. Our bay window faces west, the room would get beastly hot and the air conditioner worked overtime. With the shade we are able to enjoy the room once more. We are so happy, wish we had invested in this sooner. I would recommend Blindster.com to everyone.
1/2 of our order was delayed in shipping which we did not receive communication about. After several weeks passed we called to inquire and we told they were out of fabric and would be shipped soon. It took two phone calls to get all this information. Finally after calls were made we received the blinds within a few days. There seemed to be a break down in communication as we received no updates as to what was going on or shipping updates. We are used to better services than this. The end product is fine.

My blinds, are just beautiful.
My order was completed properly, but the pill chain was difficult to use. I tried altering it which resulted in breaking the chain. I called the Blindster customer service number and was pleasantly surprised to get to speak with a person right away. A replacement pull chain for my shade was sent to me free of charge and I received it in about a week.
I Purchased window blinds for my home and roll up shades for our rv.
Very happy with both. Ones for RV were special fit so I was very happy since I couldn't find them anywhere else.

I'm sorry you aren't entirely pleased with your order.
Roller Shades can be tricky to install but I have sent your comments to the factory to make sure they review the installation instructions. We also have our own installation instructions on the product page for each product.
The tension device at the bottom of the chain is required by Federal law to not function unless it is properly installed. All the devices I have seen use a spring so that the chain cannot be moved until the tension device is screwed into place.
