Have bought cameras, theatrical lighting, and computer equipment from B&H. Simple, Easy. The Best. Go Team. Wish you had a brick and mortar nearer to me... maybe it's better that you don't!;-)
I've only ever had good experiences with B & H, and they are my go-to store for electronics and such. And, though I come from a different religious and cultural background, I like seeing that they integrated theirs into their business operations while maintaining excellent customers relations with all of us.
I ordered two items from bhphoto and both were delayed in shipment. To return I was told to refuse shipment by bhphoto and eventually FedEx just shipped it right back to me a couple days later. I asked for a faster prepaid label being paid for me but if I returned they would make me pay for any return shipping. And it was slow return shipping. I have to now pay for faster shipping so I can get it back to them asap and receive a refund. Not helpful, very cheap company. Would shop elsewhere
This store has no match, with competitive pricing, great support and fast delivery! When shipping to diffiult places they clearly staate there may be a day or two delay over normal delivery times. Their shipping prices are fair too.
Very satisfied with the website. Shipping is prompt and had no issues with any damaged package. I have on one occasion been given a discount to match the advertised price.

B&H Photo ad popped up while I was looking for information about fresnel lens for photography. Sometimes pop-up ads are annoying, but this was helpful and the product was at a discount, so I bought it. Impact Fresnel Spot S-Mount Attachment (10-40°) $54.95.
Very helpful staff, and didn't try to up-sell me, which is a relief compared to the irritating salespeople in most companies
This is not specifically a review on B&H but on their choice to choose Comenity for their new PlayBoo credit card.
Comenity will use Experian for a credit report only. Due to the T-Mobile hack and my information now in the dark web I froze my credit through Experian. Other companies will and have in my case used other agencies credit reports to verify credit. Comenity will not. B&H has now lost me as a customer over this.

The bank may use one or another or all three and do not tell us which in advance. The links on our FAQ let you unlock the credit bureaus temporarily so your application can be processed without incident. You can continue shopping here and continue our relationship without submitting a Payboo application if you prefer. I am a Photographer and computer savvy person who goes to B&H for almost anything I can get there for the needs I have with photo, computer, and even audio too (basically anything tech)!
I saw an item on my Wishlist that entered their "Deal Zone", which is a flash-sale basically for select items. I couldn't check out because they were observing a Holiday/Sabbath (I forgot what it was), but I didn't give up. I entered a chat with one of the online agent (John J, I believe) literally 2 days AFTER the sale ended to mention that - and he granted me a one-time price match as a second chance! Saved $20... on a $30 item, that is. 66% discount - *******% unexpectedly pleased. T_T
This isn't the first time I've unexpectedly had a request fulfilled like this from B&H. I really appreciate them and hope you have the same experiences as I do with them. =]

This is my latest of many purchases from B&H and they have all been excellent. Had to use Customer Service once and the experience was terrific. Also if you need consultation about a purchase their representatives are great.

My friend once asked me to help him to find a good video equipment, because he wanted to open up a photo studio and create various videos and take pictures of people. I thought that it would be a great idea and also decided to help him and invested some money. He is fond of photographing and I understood that he would manage to become successful in this sphere. However, the main problem was the lack of professional equipment. I searched in the internet for proper companies and faced this one. There is a very big assortment of equipment and I proposed my friend to buy it here. We ordered here some professional cameras and they were delivered in time.
B&H is my preferred vendor for all my photo and printing supplies. They are competitive price wise with Megazon and the detailed descriptions of the items lets you know exactly what you're buying. Shipping is quick and reasonable and if I do have a problem knowledgeable tech support is available immediately. The bottom line is there are no better vendors than B&H.
I have been buying things there for years. It's always gone well and the one instance where something was damaged on arrival they sorted it out promptly. This order was an assortment of odd's and ends I needed, filters, lens hoods etc. The prices were fair, everything was in stock and the 3 days freight was free. Hard to beat.
Answer: ANy refurbished item we sell has been refurbished by the manufacturer or official US distributor, Nikon USA or Canon USA etc. Other used items are each rated on a numeric scale and we tend to be conservative so customers are not disappointed.

Your report glosses over several issues, First, our FAQ specifies that non-returnable items include "Opened computers and computer software — original packaging cannot be unsealed." Second, we require a return authorization be requested and sent to you to initiate the return process. Third, we do not cover the cost of return shipping unless the reason for the return is our error or a product which was defective or damaged on arrival. Being "disappointed in the performance" does not suggest the product is defective. To suggest otherwise is disingenuous.
Your advice should say, "be sure to read their online rules COMPLETELY BEFORE buying anything from any online merchant!" Apparently we received this review from you because you failed to follow this excellent advice. -- Henry Posner / B&H Photo-Video
