I love ordering from B&H, their website help me organize my thoughts and ideas. I have been ordering from them for over 15 years.
Needed to round out an order for a sd card for a zoom h1n that i got second hand from B&H. 4 packs of guitar strings justifies the 3.99 shipping that would have happened with just the card. I ordered a 64gb card initially that is too big for the zoom, but that fit in the a5000 i got at a pawn shop that i use to illustrate this review.
I have used this company for many years and always find what I need. The fact that they have used items is the biggest seller for me.

All it said in the cell phone description was Note: "box" and had very obvious links to all the accessories you might need. So I expect to get the box. Hoping it includes the charger and cable. Otherwise fair price. Like having a warranty.

As much as I'd like to shop local I can never find the selection nor reasonable prices that B&H offers.
Great selections of computers and prices. Fast shipments, Sales tax refunds. I have made multiple purchases from them, not a problem every time. Latest purchase was discounted an extra $100 after my purchase. I emailed to request that they honor the lower price, and they refunded the difference to me.
B&H Photo Video is the ONLY place to shop for cameras, lenses, and other photography gear. The Web site is the easiest to navigate and B&H prices simply cannot be better!
My wife and I ordered a lot of camera/video equipment from then in the past week. They got part of my wife's order wrong. When I called them about it they said we could either ship it back and after they receive it and inspect it (3-5 days), they would ship us a replacement. The other choice we had is to pay for a new one and ship the old one back. If we had ordered the wrong thing then I could see these options. We placed the order correctly and they made the mistake. They Arne't willing to fix their mistakes. They want the customer to pay for their mistakes. We will never shop here again.
Answer: ANy refurbished item we sell has been refurbished by the manufacturer or official US distributor, Nikon USA or Canon USA etc. Other used items are each rated on a numeric scale and we tend to be conservative so customers are not disappointed.

It is industry-standard practice for a retailer to receive a customer's return before shipping a different (or another) item. The standard alternate option is a return-for-refund while the customer simply places a new order for the item originally wanted. I am sorry neither of these options was satisfactory. In particular circumstances we can advance ship the new item as soon as we can confirm the item to be returned is en route to us.
