I've spent probably well over $20,000, including 2 Canon 5D's, four L series lenses, enough LED lighting gear to shoot feature films with, and plenty of accessories (light-stands, filters, gels, bags/hard-cases, and printers) with B&H over the past 10 years. And I don't think I will ever stop doing business with them. Never had a problem with any of my orders.
Two different professional video agencies recommended B&H. I am impressed with the ease of the site and the prices are the same as Amazon. I received my shipment when they said and received everything well packed. Very satisfied.
I've purchased a number of things through B&H over the last 30 years from cameras, computers, upgraded memory, and today a gaming computer for my son. Selection and pricing are always great. I called them a couple of different times to discuss options and they were helpful on the phone and answered all my questions. This review will be updated if we have any issues with the new order, but I expect everything will go smoothly as before.
Definitely my go-to place for photo equipment. Never had a bad experience. Their selection is gigantic, their customer service the best, and having been to their NYC store, it's one of the best shopping experiences on Earth. I would never take a chance at a competitor, even their largest one, because I know exactly what I get from B&H.
Its' hard to review your product once its order, if you have some possible order in the past, you have to move them so it is bit pain in butt, because you do not want to deleat them, but not ready to buy them
Okay, I have been dealing with B&H for around 40 years. They have supplied me with thousands of dollars worth of photo gear during my professional career and now they are still my go to place for gear in my retirement. The service has always been impeccable and the delivery prompt.

The photo is of my new Z50 bought just a week ago. My next to latest latest purchase. I just ordered a 28-300mm VR from them for this and my D800. That will give me a normal to 450mm on the DX mirrorless - YES!

Love B&H but the gift card communication could be improved, i purchase professional items on a continuing basis and the rewards program is a nice incentive. I used an $85 rewards card on a small headphone purchase for my spouse. She was excited to receive them as we picked them out together. It was a huge disappointment when they arrived to only work on one channel, This is not characteristic of Sennheiser. When I called for an RMA authorization for replacement set, I was told that I would have to pay full price now and wait for the return to be processed.Not optimum but fair enough. I received the notification that the return was processed and that the refunded monies had been put in the buckets they had come from. Since I had fully used the total amount of the gift card i was sure it was defunct and no longer germane. Normally I receive an email with a gift card number and pin to apply at checkout. I received NO further email on this. In the meantime I made another large lens purchase for full price. Today I went to purchase a strobe for my son's Christmas and attempted to use the refunded gift card balance and did not see that it was available. After an extended call with customer service I was informed that the balance of the gift card had been applied to the one from the May purchase! I should go back to my email for the card number and pin. I did this and it worked fine. Keep in mind the May gift card amount was used COMPLETELY and I assumed it no longer existed. Your gift card communication needs to be improved. If for perhaps instead of Gift Card, it should have said Gift Card XXXX issued in May 2019, please see our earlier email for full number and pin information, that would have been very useful. I remain an avid B&H customer.
Large stock, good prices, website is easy to navigate and very informative. The few times I've needed customer service over many years, I have received excellent help.
Answer: ANy refurbished item we sell has been refurbished by the manufacturer or official US distributor, Nikon USA or Canon USA etc. Other used items are each rated on a numeric scale and we tend to be conservative so customers are not disappointed.
