I've been saving for my nifty fifty lens for a long time. The $50 gift card incentive really makes the sale, and B&H has really upped their efficiency game with shipping, where possible. Support U.S. camera stores!
I've always had good dealings with B&H, but this time the item was backordered forever. When I tried to get an update on my order by phone the estimated wait time was 101 minutes. The online chat wasn't much better, they were not able to find/ verify my order.
I noticed a slightly more expensive model of what I was looking for became available, I canceled my original order, ordered the new item and I should receive it in a week!

On almost every order I get really quick even under the Covid 19. Of course there are some things beyond their control on backorders. Yet, my experience has been great. Out of all the numerous things I have purchased only one has been backordered.

Quite a number of years now, that I have been getting all of my photo gear needs from BH. The prices are excellent, and their return policy is easy and no issues. If something is wrong/not right, they will fix it. You also can get access to staff with professional photography backgrounds, so significant no-spin support is available for choosing or using your gear. We needed to set up an in-house small studio lighting system for my daughter, about a year ago. The time that the lighting department spent with us on the phone, to figure out what we needed and how to use it, was amazing. For years, I bought from J&R Music World-they are great, too, but they went under, some years back. I was very nervous about picking a new vendor for my needs, after the demise of J&R. But after picking B&H, I never looked back. For low $$ or high $$ items, you can buy with full confidence.

A little disappointed right out of the box. They worked well with my 24-70mm, not as good on the 70-200mm, and not really great at all on the 200-600mm. Maybe with more time I will get better but the autofocus does not work very well on the longer telephoto zooms. Hopefully with time I can learn how to tweak them a bit.
