I've been familiar with B&H's reputation as the top store in New York (and possibly the US) for camera gear so when I decided to purchase my cinema camera through them and have purchased nearly every other piece of lighting, audio and camera equipment through them. I love the selection of quality used gear as well. I live in the LA area but B&H is still my store of choice, whether it's online or in person when I'm actually in NYC. Their selection and quality service cannot be beat!

Over the past year I've ordered a dozen+ items from B&H including a MacBook Pro, several full-frame camera lenses, camera bags, and various computer accessories, and I've been very satisfied with their website offerings and the products themselves. Their prices are competitive with other retailers and my only frustration, delivery time, isn't B&H's fault, but because I live near the west coast and they're typically shipping from New Jersey. Excellent service, value, and product quality and I highly recommend.
A hard to find item was out of stock everywhere else but B&H had them and I received them in two days!

Fast, quick and easy to use web site where you can see if the item is in stock or not and if not the estimated wait time. With Payboo I can save the state tax and being that I live in California that is definitely a good thing. B&H seems to carry the most things that I need. Just wish they had order numbers for bulk film orders so I can order by the carton that stores much better in the freezer than individual boxes of film. Yes I still use film as it has a look all of it's own.
I have ordered many times but this time I had a question so I clicked to ask and within 24 hours they responded. They are helpful to those of us who do not know the equipment and the prices are good.
B&H stands out because it is still privately owned and the company carries value to its customers with honest services. When corporations care more about their stock holders than their customers it shows. I have moved off Amazon and onto B&H for all digital product purchases. They have always come through.
I love B&H Photo! I've bought every piece of my gear from them for the past 25 years, and their service is exceptional. However, today the web site declined my credit card, and advised me to contact the bank. I did, and the bank advised that there was no problem with the card, but that B&H had not submitted the charge for approval. I understand that there can be glitches, and I had another card I could use, but this sort of thing is quite contrary to my long and valued relationship with B&H. Perhaps their webmaster could take a look at my transaction to see what the problem might be.
