I was searching for a few lenses on web but couldn't get all at one place except@B&H. Nice collection and is having good customer service.
Excellent company I've been using for 20 years. My family has probably bought over 200 items from B&H over the years and they have always delivered. From fast shipping to very good pricing to honest and straightforward business practices, they are true leaders in electronic equipment sales. Easily my favorite web company to purchase from.
I bought a Nikon camera and it had a problem and they were happy to send another one which was also defective and I returned it and purchased one direct from Nikon. The serial number on the camera from Nikon was in the high 5, xxx, xxx but both cameras purchased through B&H had serial numbers in the low 3, xxx, xxx and both defective leading me to the conclusion that these were returned defective and repackaged without repair as these very popular cameras had oddly been in the retail stream for well over a year and were not new though they were sold as new or they were grey market as B&H are notorious for. Always buy cameras factory direct or you will get defective clearinghouse items or grey market items with no warranty.
Before buying a new Galaxy S4 cellphone and batteries from B&H, I called Customer Service to verify that the batteries I was considering to buy (spare batteries - B&H #SAEBB600BUBE) would be authentic Samsung OEM product: made in Korea, assembled in Korea. The reason is that product made or assembled in China has a reputation for not holding a charge, "bloating" soon after first use, and/or burning up. "Joel" stated in our telecom at 2:15 pm on 12/16/2014 that the products were authentic Samsung OEM product: made in Korea, assembled in Korea. He even directed me to the B&H website to see the statement on the picture of the battery shown as proof that the batteries are authentic Samsung OEM product. So, what did I actually get? Two batteries that state "made in Korea, assembled in China". See the digipics of these two unopened batteries. If I wanted knockoff batteries from China, I could have paid less than $5.00 each on Amazon. Instead, I believed B&H would not be so dishonest as to pull a "bait & switch." So, it's clear their company should actually be called "B&S". Please be aware that B&H is a dishonest company and will cheat buyers if at all possible.
Horrible experience. I place an order and they decide that I didn't meet their verification qualifications a day after they ship the package and reverse the delivery before it reached me. A week from my order, i still have not been refunded. I open a paypal dispute and they RESPOND WITH THE REVERSED TRACKING INFO instead of refunding my money WTF ARE THEY TRYING TO PROVE. The best part of this in my opinion is that they are now selling the same product for $30 more! Do yourself a favor and order from a competing site which I have to say, any would be better than this one. Missed black friday sales already, going to miss cyber monday as well.In the end I still haven't been refunded.
These guys and Samy's are the only place I'll buy camera equipment from now. Service is good here, pricing is fair, returns are hassle free and they don't have an attitude at B&H Photo. I buy a lot of Canon and Nikon equipment, accessories, tripods, you name it; B&H has never done me wrong.
Just visited B&H Photo video site. The site is pretty well and one can choose the items quickly. All the categories are displayed right on the home page so you don't have to find them in header menu bar. Nice site. Thinking of buying something from this site but, just saw message that, currently you can't place an order on this site. Will try in sometime.
I had gone though with this site for buying a new camera for me. This www.bhphotovideo.com service is not giving a proper description about the product. So this is difficult to understanding the product appropriately. Therefore I took www.dpreview.com site for purchasing a new camera. They are giving better details than this site.

I once required a Nikkon camera for my home. They had me talk with this guy who convinced me to invest less cash. You must watch this B&H site.
Today I got my Canon 400mm F/5.6 L lens. But I am not happy at all, because they sent me a USED lens for the price of the brand new ones. Interesting, this #$% happened second time for me. First time they sent me used 50mm lens while I paid for the brand new lens. Then, I thought it was just a mistake, but now I start thinking this is their business model. Buyer, beware!

Pretty disappointed. Camera battery went dead after one use, (Had the battery for 45 days in my case). They said that it was beyond their warranty. I must send it into the manufacturer. A little hard to do when you don't speak or write Chinese. Oh well, back to my local guys.

I searched high and low for Tascam dp-008xp digital recorder, but no one had it in stock, and the few that did wanted well over retail price. I came across this co. BH photo&video, got a great deal $149, free shipping, and they even threw in a nice gator bag to carry it in. The packing was perfect, took good care of my product, and made the delivery a day early. Great buying experience. If you need any kind of digital recording equipment check out BH photo&video, and if they don't have it, sweetwater is definitely a trusted site with awesome customer support.
Don't order a PC from these guys, they are just a reseller and should probably stick to photo equipment. They will not refund a PC unless the manufacturer seal is unbroken. I bought a new Samsung 9 lite and it is the worse performing PC I have ever owned. I have had Dell, Toshiba, Sony and Acer. Hands down the worst and I can't return it. Oh well, stick with Amazon on this type of stuff. I went with B&H because they were highly rated with Amazon.
Their online customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. I ordered a set of photo paints from them about a month ago and when these arrived I was greeted by a box of broken glass and spilled red paint. I was very unhappy since I needed these and can't get them locally and now had a huge mess on my hands. I was just glad that none of my photo paper ordered was exposed to the paint. I asked to return just the broken color so I could use the rest but was told I needed to return all. I did so and was told the replacement set would be packaged better. When this arrived I knew before opening the box that we had an issue because you could hear the paints rattling around in a box much too big and not protected in bubble wrap. I opened the box to find the same mess (except orange this time). B & H refuses to give me a partial refund for this debacle and seems really insincere about their mistakes so now I just am waiting for my next set of broken, messy paints in a box of glass shards to arrive. I won't be doing business with them after this.
Had a great experience ordering a portable DVD player. Best price i could find for it, and it came through super fast - through customs to my Canadian address. Have shopped at their physical location in New York as well, have a great selection and prices
