I find the site about average. A bit confusing when attempting to determine if I bought the right items together to qualify for the Canon rebate, but the site works and is reasonably easy to navigate so I'm not complaining unless it costs me the 250 dollar rebate.
I was excited to finally order an item I had been looking at for a while but in my excitement I managed to order the wrong size. Once it arrived and realized my mistake the return was very painless. Makes me want to keep shopping with a company that is happy to work with me.
Just got my MixPre-6. Did some of my 1st testing with it at home today.
It is fairly easy to use so far. I like the way you can just push the volume number to whatever channel and a manu for that channel pops up on the screen. The recordings do sound really good.
One disappointment is it will only give phantom power to 2 mics (you can pick which channel you want to set that way).
It's kind of a hassle to make the cable connections with the case that I bought, so I think I will just use that to protect it when I carry it around, but will use it without the case most of the time when recording. I look forward to doing my 1st band recording with this soon. So far I am impressed with this.
