You can't go wrong with B&H. Great product info, great staff, great prices, and great shipping rates. Never an issue with any order and returns were a breeze. Patience and Kindness work wonders. I think the best part of buying something here is the option to add as many gift cards that you have AND split payments between credit cards. This came in handy when I had a Visa gift card. I used up the amount of the Visa gift card and put the remainder on my regular credit card. Not many online retailers have that kind of flexibility. Plus you can sometimes earn gift cards with purchases (usually 2-4% of purchase price) on select items. Two Thumbs Up!

I recently ordered a power adaptor for my Canon camera to use to shoot the total eclipse on July 21. When I ordered it I was told I would receive it in 3 days. After three days and no adaptor, I started trying to track to see where it was. I entered the tracking # which stated that it had been delivered. I had been signed for by someone I did not know. I phone customer service and explained that we are leaving Thurs. For Oregon and really need the adaptor before we leave. B&H customer service sent me out a second adaptor (of course I had to pay again. Will be credited back when I receive the new adaptor. To my surprise I received the adaptor the next day, with more research I noted that the previously "delivered" adaptor was what was delivered. I should receive the replacement on Tues. Or Wed. So far they have been great. Will update when the other adaptor shows up.
I love not paying sales tax or shipping! They seem to have everything I need and I have never been disappointed with anything I have order from B&H!

I can probably count on one hand the amount of camera equipment I HAVEN'T bought from B&H. A majority of the lenses and cameras I've purchased have been used and all function exceptionally well. I find the prices to be fair and it's nice to have peace of mind when I'm buying a used product. I know it's been inspected, and though cosmetically there might be dings and chips, the glass is always flawless.
And the best part is I always hit the expedited shipping minimum so I never have to wait for days for my toys to arrive! :)
Answer: ANy refurbished item we sell has been refurbished by the manufacturer or official US distributor, Nikon USA or Canon USA etc. Other used items are each rated on a numeric scale and we tend to be conservative so customers are not disappointed.
