I have ordered several books from BWB. The site is easy to navigate and the range of books on offer in my area of interest is excellent. I am also impressed by the quality of the books that I have purchased. Those described as being in "very good condition" are what I would call in "excellent" condition, and except for the occasional library sticker are like new. BWB has become my first port of call when buying used books.

This website is simply the best way to satisfy your hunger for books. I've been buying books at BWB for THIRTEEN years now. I probably bought almost a hundred books. Books are usually in an better condition than mentioned, but many do come from libraries, so they have stickers/stamps/etc. Interior is usually absolutely clean. I only had ONE single problem once (wrong book sent), recently, and they were both super responsive and refunded me immediately. PLUS the money goes to charities. That's just the best.

Two out of three of the second-hand Harry Potter books that I ordered arrived in good condition. The third had its corner bashed in, presumably in transit, as all three were just packed in flimsy plastic "satchels". Some cardboard protection might have prevented this, but would have added to the cost to this wonderful, cheap, philanthropic service. I think Better World Books is doing a great job!
