Where possible I purchase hard back copies (and try to avoid 'large print editions") WITH DUST JACKET COVERS - 3 in this order did not have covers and one was Large Print. Not the end of the world and probably my fault failing to read description correctly. I also order plenty of paper backs when I really want the "read" and do not recall ever being disappointed with the quality i received against the condition quoted. Overall you are the best US book company avalable to us Aussies - so keep up the good work - and thank you.

The book "Arts and Ideas" was described as a Hardcover Used Very Good. It wasn't USED Very Good, nor was it Used Good or anything close to keeping. The book was a trash and a soft cover with the front cover and rear cover bent into a permanent curls with creases in the binder so deep the front cover was barely attached. I threw the book away, because it was also filthy. The book appeared to have been laying cover down in a dirty attic or non-climate and non-air controlled environment. I didn't want the filty stained garbage in my house.
I've been looking for an alternative to Amazon for books, and when I learnt that BetterWorldBooks donates a book to an NPO for every one that I purchase, I was sold. Another bonus is that BWB has some great promotion sales. I received my first order in good time, and as you can see in the photo, the books are ex-library books and in reasonably good condition. BWB is highly recommended!
