Only once in many years have I had even the slightest problem with BetterWorldBooks Not a bad average as I have had dozens of excellent, reasonably priced, rare books from them. I genuinely believe this company is the very best around and will continue to buy from them for all/ most my future reading matter.

Always check with BetterWorld before I purchase any book. Usually have what I'm looking for, and the edition is often preferable to a newer printing

I received all the books ordered: BWB had cancelled two because they were ex-library - as I had asked.
One of the others was ex-lib however and BWB was good enough to give me a refund when I noticed it.
The post-free shipping is a marvellous draw - there are some dealers seeking $60.00 to mail one book across the Atlantic! All in all a good purchase - some solid history books.

Books came quickly. Accurately described. However. Cookbook ordered REEKED of cigarettes. Airing it out for days outside, dryer sheets between pages, baking soda between pages made no difference. Can't be helped I suppose, but not a book I want in my home.

We need books for a better world! We need a better world! The idea to have a place where you can find books that indeed care about the necessary changes is brilliant! In the end it can be a university of books that higher the public awareness and so contribute to the quality of democratic choices -that are based on wider horisonts and a deeper understanding of the world.

I was disappointed that the book had been rated as being in better condition than it was. The inside front cover was mistakenly produced upside down. Also, I wasn't expecting the label on the spine and it was not padded for shipping so a bit banged up. I'll keep it for the price, but I like sellers to be transparent and honest with me.

This is my go to for used books everytime! They almost always have what I am looking for. Shipping time is excellent. Always excellent condition of books.

On site books were described as hardcover, but I received paperback books. I purchased three parts of The Lord of the Rings

I am very happy to get a book I lost several years ago. For me this a classic and I was very sad when I lost it.

I was skeptical because of the cheap price of this book thinking too good to be true. All the reviews convinced me to give it a try and I was no disappointed! Got my book in about 2 weeks it's in perfectly fine condition (it's not new obviously but no major issues). I will use better world books in the future!

Not only was the book that I was looking for cheaper than other sites, the shipping was incredibly fast! I will definitely be buying my books from here from now on.
