This vacuum cleaner exceeded my expectations! I was going to purchase my good old standby vacuum but decided to take a chance on this product. I could not be happier in all aspects. It is very easy to maneuver over hardwood, brick and deep pile rug. It may sound silly, but I love the extra long cord and the attachments. Vacuuming time has been reduced b/c of it's efficiency with all items mentioned above. My daughter's 10 year old Kirby is beyond repair so she has decided to by the Miele. My cleaning ladies are going to do the same. I do not normally spend this kind of money on vacuum cleaners (usually not more than $200.00) but decided to take a chance. It is probably one of the best purchases I have made with regard to household items. If you decide to purchase this product, you will be disappointed.

It was fine.
So far it was a pleasure doing business with Best Vacuum. The vacuum has great suction so far. I've only used it once. The canister was really light and easy to carry up and down the steps. The only surprise so far was that the power head 228 was a lot heavier than I expected. It's actually heavier than the canister. It does do a great job picking up dirt and the cat hair of my longhaired cat that was a problem with my other vacuums.

I ordered a powerbar that did not fit my vacuum. I called Best Vacuum and got the information in regards to what powerbar I should have ordered. So, I ordered the correct one, but have not received information on how to return the original one so that I can get a refund.
I feel that the information regarding the powerbar was not clear, and that is the reason I initially ordered the wrong one.
My vacuum was delivered the next day. Right away I could tell that the quality of this vacuum far exceeds others that I have used - especially with a dog that sheds. I am very pleased that I ordered the Miele on the recommendation of my daughter who has two large shedding dogs and who has also tried other brands.
