This review was written by my husband, as I was too frazzled to even think.

Worst Buy at Best Buy

After an hour the sound on the "LG UBK80 Blu-Ray Player" we had purchased went wonky deteriorating gradually to static and remaining discordant noise for over a minute thereafter.

No big deal. Bad products happen.

Now for the fun part:
Four days later, we were in durham and took the DVD player with us to return, but our brake warning light and then alarm went off. We decided to high-tail it back home, 60 miles north.

My wife calls the Best? Buy today to explain why we couldn't return yesterday, and suggest that we return it in about 17 days, the next time we have doctors' appointments in Durham.

Worst Buy tells her that their policy is firm, written in stone and carried from the mount: 15 Days from the date of purchase, or you eat it!

We offered to mail it to them at our expense. No Go. Rules is rules: read the fine print.

Now, we must drive 120 miles to get our money back.
And no, we're not going to simply exchange it as originally intended. No way.

And they could never compensate us for my wife's hour and a half of absolute anguish.

Lost Rewards Certificates

I have spent thousands using the BB credit card. I'm an Elite Plus member. I recently used one of my certificates ($5) reward to purchase batteries. I canceled when I realized the batteries were not available on the day I need them. Best Buy doesn't stock 9v batteries?! I canceled the order. Anyway, my $5 certificate was not refunded back. And, come to think of it, this was not the first time. Their FAQ said it takes a few business days. It's been over 5.

I love Best Buy. I buy most of my electronics from Best Buy. But after spending over $10K over the last 8 months using their credit card, I don't feel particularly appreciated as an "Elite Plus" member. I'm in the market for a better rewards system -- an honest one which can show real appreciation.

Love Best Buy!

No concerns here we've been using Best Buy for years from refrigerators to TVs, washing machines, equipment, computers. We move a lot Because of husbands job. When you live in apartment you have to continue buying appliances and we use Best Buy that way.

Bad Customer Service

The website navigation is very tricky. When you want to go back to the previous page of listings, it starts all over again from the beginning and not where you left off. Customer Service is extremely sassy, snarky, and completely unhelpful. They would literally be repeating what you sent them and then just throw it in your face and make it your fault for asking a question.

Ordered a washer(stackable), they said best buy didn't provide us so we can't do anything and just left a washer in the garage and gone! All they had to do is that just swipe a old washer to new washer(same stacking kit) since it's the same brand!

Its convenient

Worst ever.

Ordered a Washer/Dryer combo in store. Scheduled for deliver that Friday between 2 pm and 6 pm. Friday comes. 5:57 pm get call saying the truck broke down and they can't make the delivery. They can send a truck to take merchandise off out-of-service truck to bring back to warehouse, but can't deliver with second truck. Offer 100 bucks off for our troubles. Can't get discount until items are delivered - What? Rescheduled for the next Friday. Next Friday comes. Get call from truck driver saying the dryer is badly damaged. Can't deliver the dryer OR the washer... okay. Another 100 bucks off for our troubles. Rescheduled for next Friday (next next Friday unofficially). Next Next Friday comes. Don't hear anything during the delivery time. Check website. Not scheduled for delivery... call them up. "Sorry another 75 bucks off". Cool rescheduled for next Friday (unofficially next next next Friday). Next next next Friday comes. Items delivered and installed. Month late, but whatever; I'm getting 275 bucks off (sweeet). Call about discount. They can't do it. Why not? Finally told we have to go to the original store to clear it with the manager. Go to store. Manager can't do it without top-brass approval. Been expecting a phone-call from him for about 4 days now to hear the result.

I wasn't kidding about getting the call at 5:57. Let alone that sounding fishy in and of itself, Best Buy's inability to deliver the product 3 times and unbelievable run-around/lies about the discount is beyond unacceptable. I will never purchase from "Best" Buy again. Just go to Amazon.

I was a huge BB fan, not anymore. I went online around 5am and purchased 2, same day store pick up tables, just to make sure to have time if anything happens. Little did I know it turned out to be one of my worst customer service experience. After they charged my card and started "processing my order", I was checking online from time to time the order status. 6 hours later, since no confirmation email was received, I contacted one of their chat agents., and she confirmed that the order was being processed and in a couple of hours it will be ready, don't need to worry. 2 hours later I checked back again online, and this time it was showing out of stock. So they never sent an email and I have been lied to twice! Now it was almost 3pm., contacted another chat agent online., "she started by saying how sorry she was"... really? We spent the next hours trying to solve the issue. Her suggestion was, either you cancel your order or you can order it to be shipped. I tried a hundred times to explain to her that if I wanted it shipped I would've done so. I ordered online because I wanted them for a birthday present for my kids the same day. My point was., I was lied to by the online order form, and both agents. I requested speaking to a supervisor who never showed up, and didnt offer any solution. I then asked., what options can you give me., just the same answer, either to cancel or order for shipment. They definitely ruined my day and my kids birthday present. Will never again buy anything here. It was me this time., but next time it could be you. You lost another customer and I'll keep sharing this review as far as possible.

Horrible service

Worse service. DO NOT use best buy. First I'm disappointed they do not give military discount. Second: I used them for 2 day home delivery of a Dryer. I'm told I will get a call the night prior to delivery for a window. That call never came. Then I get a text that they will be at my home at 0935. They don't show. I get an email that it was delivered. It wasn't. I then go on to find out when I sign in to my account it was cancelled. I call customer service and it was rescheduled for the following day and it's not on the truck so it can't be delivered. I took a day the morning off of work cost me money as my family needed the delivery in now. I wanted it prior to my deployment.

NEVER WILL I PURCHASE FROM BEST BUY AGAIN. Do yourself a favor and use Home Depot or Lowes.

DON'T TAKE YOUR MAC FOR HARDWARE ISSUES! I was having an intermittent issue with my battery not charging on my MacBook Air.

And it died early yesterday afternoon. Went on the Geek Squad web site to schedule an appointment. I answered it is a MAC, I did have hardware problems and my battery would not charge. Could not get in until 8:00 that night.

So I went in and the tech took one of their cords, plugged it in and it did not work. So she told me that they would have to ship to KY (they do NO Mac hardware work locally - Tucson, AZ) for diagnosis. That would take a week and I could hope to get it back in 2 weeks! WHAT?

So I went to an authorized Apple service center.

Turns out there was a small spec of paint (I am an artist) stuck in the charger port. 2 minutes and $30 later my Mac is completely healed.

Best Buy Sucks!

Best Buy Sucks! I bought a refurbished Chromebook online. It keep glinting and shutting down. When I called, they said my only option is to make an appointment and take it to a store to be fixed. We live 75 miles from a store. I would have to take it there, leave it and then come back and pick it up in 3-4 days. They said they couldn't accept it by mail because of "data protection and privacy laws" and then the sales rep told me, in my case, it would be cheaper just to buy a new one. WHAT? Don't EVER buy anything from this company!

Bestbuy service is going from bad customer service to fraud. I took my Apple Watch for service they diagnosed it and mentioned that it was a manufacture defect and they would fix it. After I handover the watch they damaged it and were saying it was physically abused. When I asked to give that in writing, they refused to give it. If anyone want to go to best buy for service make sure you take pictures before you give it to them. They are liars and don't ever believe their word. I will never buy anything from best buy ever again.

Never, I repeat NEVER try to purchase something from Best Buy online. I am an Elite Plus member which apparently means nothing to this company. I recently purchased a Cooking Range online and made a subsequent call to their customer service line inquiring about earning Rewards member points being linked to this purchase. After being on the phone for hours and transferred around to several different departments, I was advised to cancel the order and place the same order using my Best Buy credit card. When they did this they subsequently informed me that the same product would be $1,000 more expensive. They have refused to honor the price I originally paid and have been nothing less than a nightmare to deal with. This is at best a case of untrained, uninformed employees and bordering in the area of a systemically dishonest retailer that does not value their customers at all.
