I bought a Dell Inspiron from BB College Park. MD and it was a wreck! I returned it but decided to try another one since the reviews I read were pretty good. The one I exchanged the 1st one for was worse! The 2nd Inspiron laptop's screen continued to go black and I lost some of my work. I returned it and was told the techs would remove my personal security information. I got a call a few minutes ago from someone who bought the computer "new" from BB College Park. They charged him FULL PRICE! He said my pin was needed to open it but respectfully did not ask for the pin. I do not know how he knew to call me, but this is dangerous. I verified his identity and told him to take the computer back and coordinate his return when I could meet him there. I called BB and was on hold 1 hour. This is absolutely ridiculous! I will NEVER buy from BB nor recommend BB to anyone.

Worst service ever
January 8, 2021

I bought a washer an dryer in December. From prince george best buy. It took over a hour in the store to ring it in. I was told it came with washer hoeses. It did not. Then they couldn't drop it off until the 7th. When they dropped it off it had no dryer leg. You can not even call the local store. I have been waiting for a call back. No one has called. I called in again today. I was told again to wait for a call. A dryer leg should be simple. The fact that I can not call the local store is not ok. I WOUPD SUGGEST NOT SHOPPING AT BEST BUY. :(

Poor Customer Service

I ordered Staub skillet for my wife for Christmas and was told it would arrive by 12/21/2020. On 12/23/2020, 2 days after the expected delivery date, I finally got a notice telling me it was delayed - obviously - and notifying me they would have have it ready to ship in a few days. I never received another update on my order status except to tell me I couldn't cancel it. A week after I was told the order would finally be shipped in a few days I contacted BestBuy via Chat. The BestBuy rep confirmed I couldn't cancel the order ($209.99) but he assured me the order was being prepared and that I would receive on 01/04/2021. I asked him if he could guarantee it would be delivered on the 4th and he said yes. I finally filed a complaint through PayPal. The 4th came around and still no delivery and not a word from BestBuy. PayPal got my money refunded yet my BestBuy account still shows the order pending. If anyone at BestBuy doubts I ordered the item here is my order number: BBY**************. What a mistake I made trusting BestBuy to come through. Their customer service is very poor and the person I chatted with deceived me. Never again.

"Worst and rude customer service, hard to believe"
Order a treadmill with installation service ($1300) online, and my ordeal began.
They will fix the appointment with a window of 12 pm-8 pm and never shows up.
When my wife calls them for the update, their answer was we did not feel like delivering it today. Can you believe that? When my wife says, we wasted a day of work waiting for the day as we need it urgently. The BestBuy customer representative response was. "Why you fix an appointment on your working day/!" Can you believe this? I would accept the statement if they delivered the item. Here I am after more than a month still waiting for the item, and today is the third time they have not shown up; probably they didn't feel like it. The customer representative was rude each time you call them; it takes forever to get the right person. Then the person will promise a lot and deliver nothing. I promise to stay away from this company, and this one is honest promise will never advise my friend to order anything from this company. I suffer from not listening to my friend due to a couple of average experiences in the past. The treadmill installation service available locally for $90; we paid $200 to best buy in the hope of better service and looked at their service.

I purchased a refrigerator for my 85 year old father back in August 2020. Here is it December 28th, and no refrigerator. Actually, the first one came in September and the door was severely damaged. I refused delivery and here I am still waiting. My poor dad had no fridge, and they do not care. They rescheduled it again for tommorrow, and never had the decency to tell me that they cancelled again. I happened to check up on it so that I could go down to his house to help him accept it and clean out his old, barely working one. Now, who knows when they will decide to deliver it. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere for appliances. Best Buy stinks! I tried contacting them every which way, and I cant get through to even send them a message. Now my poor dad's food is all going bad every day. Shame on Best Buy! They should be ashamed of themselves.

I have never received them from the first place after they have charged my account and now they are telling me to contact the Carrier or Law Enforcement for a resolution! I have been shopping at the Best Buy for over 20 years but have never faced this kind of issue! I order my product on Bestbuy.com and packages were lost during the transition of being delivered. I end up not receiving the product and asked Bestbuy to refund my money but their response after a week of investigation came back as " We are Not Responsible for your order!" I decided to file a claim with UPS and also my bank! Guys! Best Buy is no longer what they used to be! Their customer services are all located from out of Country and cannot even understand the half of our concerns! Also, go on the Google and read reviews about this company which i didn't do before I ordered my Laptop! They will be more than happy to throw their customers in the middle of desert without any reasons and explanations!

Stay away from this store if you're looking to buy smartphone! My story is very sad and because of the store I had a lot of hard time. I did buy two unlocked IPhones from them, with full payment in cash. No contract, no restrictions on it. I did told staff member that I travel a lot and that's why I need unlocked IPhone which can work with any carrier in any country. That's not my first iPhone, but it was the first time I get it not from the Apple store. So one week ago my daughter fly to Russia and replaced the SIM card with a Russian carrier, guess what we found out? The iPhone is locked! Can you believe it?! Apple in Russia can't do anything about it. AT&T said they can't unlock it because Best Bye sold me locked phone. So the manager in Best Bye from the mobile department was very ignorant and acting like what's your problem ma'am, use a WI-FI! Best Buy refused to solve the problem and all they offered was IOS reinstallation and cheapest prepaid phone compensation when my daughter came back with all receipts on hand. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. Stay away if you don't want to be in a situation like this one.

My senior plus parents ordered a new Samsung TV. Their first really big TV. Best buy offered free delivery... well that was a no-brainer for them because they would of had to leave it in the truck overnight so someone could bring it in for them (their two grandsons) they were given a window of 12-6, no big deal. Well at 1 p. M a gentleman from the delivery company called and said ma'am we will be at your residence in 15 minutes. So my mom said great we are ready. 45 minutes go by and no delivery. We'll after a little over an hour my mom called the number who called earlier and the person said "your TV wasn't on the truck" they said we had to go back and get the other truck. So around 3:30 they call back and say "we will be at your house in 15 minutes" ok well 2 hours go by and nothing! So by this time my mom is upset and nervous! I go over and call the drivers, after the 3rd time trying to call they finally answer. I asked them why do you keep telling my parents that you are on the way? He responded I don't pack the truck. It's not my fault the TV wasn't on the truck. So I asked him why didn't you just call and let her no what was going on. He said "because its not my job" can you believe that?! So until best buy either makes the delivery company apologize or best buy themselves we will not be going back. Like I said in the beginning, inside the store nothing but good things to say.

Non Delivery

I ordered a GE PGP9036SLSS Gas cooktop, They charged my credit card the $1,444.49. Scheduled delivery between 7:00 and 1:00. Now 7:30 Confirmed that delivery was coming in the morning at 7:29 the night before. I removed my old cooktop getting ready to install the new one. No Delivery! Called customer service to see I it was still going to be delivered. They told me that I needed to reschedule the delivery, this is Early December can not deliver until in February. Canceled order. I would NOT BUY ANYTHING from them again. I now have to replace my old stove top. Not a happy customer.

Best Buy Deception

I ordered an item that every other retailer including Amazon said was on back order. I foolishly believed Best Buy that said the item was in stock. I ordered for store pick up which was the fastest. Of course the item was not ready for pick up on the designated date and will not come until the same date as when the other retailers more honestly said it would be available. To cover themselves Best Buy states, sometimes items are delayed in delivery. But it is abundantly clear that this is a ruse that I fell for.

Best Buy stole from me

On November 25,2020 Best Buy Company stole from me. Blatantly, willfully and with malice by indifference. On order # BBY**************. The manager that I met with about it on December 6,2020 really didn't care. His attitude was, "Tough luck." I got a text notice that they were taking my item to the curb for pickup, to which I replied, 'Hold for entire order pickup.' Later they said my item was picked up but it wasn't by me, and they are charging my card anyway. Now I am super careful to guard my I.D. and I really don't think they checked it when someone picked up my order. They refuse to admit any liability for releasing my order to the wrong person. Has anyone else noticed sloppy security or indifferent ID checks with curb pickup?

I bought an $800 TV online on 11/29@ 1:00 p.m. with same day/1 hr pick up since in store p/u not an available option. Waited until 7:00, drove 45 mins to store and waited until 8:55(Curb side pick up closing at 9) and pulled up to store front. A nice employee came out, looked up my order then said, it has not been picked due to holidays, Black Friday, Cyber Monday... that it would be ready next day. Within 5 mins of leaving the store, I receive email that order is ready for pick up. By then, store was closed. Picked up TV next day.

On 12/5@ 11:00 a.m. I decide to give them another go, buy 2 TVs for $460 online with same day/1 hr pick up, since in store was not an available option, ran other errands picking up items I had ordered from other stores, while in the area I stop by around 7:00 and inquire about items. Got same line about holidays, Black Friday, Cyber Monday... Blah, Blah, Blah, and that order had not even been scheduled to be picked yet, to check back on Sunday. As of 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, order is still showing in process.
After this purchase, I will DEFINITELY NOT do any online, possible even NO business at all with Best Buy in the future. I fully understand retail during the holidays, but DO NOT POST promises you cannot stand by or like the first event, have it ready for pick up minutes after customer leaves and have store closed where they cannot return to pick up.

Never again

Wow, I thought I knew the worst. Nope. Best buy broke a new record for the worst buying online experience out there. I placed my order on November 27, still NO update for delivery.

Spoke with more than 10 different agents without success. They know nothing about handling costumers. To speak with a supervisor it's impossible or getting help via chat is basically a joke, or sending a complaint thru email also nonexistent.

They conned numerous people into buying products on sale online without any guarantee you'll ever get the product or your money. No confirmation emails, no updates via best buy account, not a single reassurance the costumer's best interests and costumer's peace of mind.

It's like giving your money for free. I learned my lesson-No more business with best buy.

Product Not Delivered

Purchased a TV on Nov 27, scheduled the delivery for Dec 2nd... received 2 e-mails, 4 text messages and 1 call the night before.

Waited 6 hours for the courrier to arrive and nothing, no notification about any delay.

I had to contact customer service, and after 1 hour I got confirmation that my TV never made it AND it will ONLY be delivered by Dec 8th!

DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY. They will tell you it's a replacement warranty, but it is not. They take your product away for weeks and no loaner. So disappointed they lied just to sell me a warranty. I most likely would have purchased it, but at least I would have been prepared if they had told the truth. They will say anything to sell the warranty. I have always loved Best Buy and have purchased thousands in warranties over the years, The one time I go to use the warranty and find out that I will have to be without my product for many weeks. I was told if anything happened to bring my product in and I would get store credit or it would be replaced. It is NOT the truth.

I preordered and Xbox and a PlayStation from Best Buy recently. Everything was fine until they decided the bank card I provided wasn't good enough! So I called customer service and provided them with my credit card. Two days later I checked the status of my order and it had been cancelled. After a week of trying to figure out what happened, they basically told me I was screwed because I can't reorder and the credit card number didn't work. I was somehow able to use my credit card IN STORE to buy a headset (which had to be returned because they sold me a broken headset) but online was an issue? They didn't offer me any kind of reimbursement or even apologize for losing my order. I have never been so appalled by a reputable company.

I am an Elite Plus Member but Best Buy is not good with costumers. On 24 November I bought online a Sony Magnolia 85" TV and I decide to wait for them to deliver in my house in 3 December. I din't know they sell something they don't have yet in inventary. I boght this TV for gift because my son will move out. In 29 November I got an email from Best Buy to rescedule because don't have this TV on inventary. This is to play with your costumers. I can't belive a serious bussines can work in this way. I never will buy again to Bedt Buy, lying costumers and selling sometbing they dont have in inventory. Shame of you best buy. If I don't pay in time me credit card you know what is interes ta pay later the due date? You have to pay for this due date too...

I tried ordering online but their website is unable to take multiple items in one order! It took the rep on line over 38 minutes to place the order. Only to discover that Best Buy charged my AX the full amount of the order and then another amount and then a third amount! After spending another 24 minutes with a different rep without an answer to 3 charges, I called AX. It turns out the original order taker charged the full amount and then credited it and then charged 2 different amounts to come to the same total! Not one person could explain this to me after all this time with over an hour on the phone. I will never try that again. I am highly dissatisfied and hope this order arrives as a gift to the right address and on time.

Dont ever buy on line. TERRIBLE. Bought a T. V. package promotion $2720. Scheduled home delivery for a week later due to my being out of state. They send a order confirmation but with 3 different deliveries being sent by UPS within two days. Thus expensive electrical products left outside for 5 days. They would not change delivery date or allow pick up in store even though they hadn't even had a UPS tracking number yet and the order was still being processed.
