Sent my ordered laptop to wrong address, cutumer service gave me a one month run around before telling me they will not refund or replace my order. Im out $800 it took months to save.
Tried to buy some items on the Best Buy website, I put them into my cart, went back to shop for one more item and the prices in the cart changed to original prices. They gave no notification, no deadline of time for the sale, nothing. I called customer service and they said there is nothing they can do about the price change, and wouldn't honor the price. I won't be purchasing anything else from Best Buy, they have become Worst Buy, they probably should change their Logo.
Bought a Samsung phone and service contract. 2 weeks later, the software had an issue and needed a reset. I took it into the Geek Squad desk and they said they no longer work on Samsung phones and would only mail it to the Samsung factory if I paid them $80 in advance and it would take "A couple weeks" to get it back. I later found out on my own there was a Samsung service center in the area and they fixed it while I waited in warranty at no charge. Best Buy was trying to scam me out of $80. I went back to Best Buy asking for a full refund of this service contract purchased only 2 weeks ago which they are obviously not honoring. The offered me only a small portion of what I paid for this scam of a service plan/contract or whatever it is. I ended up never getting a penny of the $110 I paid. They kept telling me to look at the fine print on the contract.
The platform left me quite impressed in a positive way. Goods were delivered at time and in well chose package.
I ordered a printer at the beginning of January 2021. Paid for it at the store, purchased additional tech support.
The printer did not arrive. I called to reschedule tech Installation. No help there. Would not confirm or reschedule.
Then I received an email from BB stating my order was returned.
When I started calling to find out what happened, I was on hold for inordinate amounts of time. Finally, when I got through I was immediately disconnected.
Called back and was on the same hold process and when I finally reached someone, I had to be transferred to another department. This happened six times over the course of four hours. Finally, customer service came on the line and said they have no other way to resolve the issue is give me a refund. I want a printer, not a refund.
NOT GOING TO BUY AT BEST BUY UNLESS THE ITEM IS IN STOCK.
On 1 Feb, I wanted to make a purchase of seasons 2,3&4 of The Last Man on Earth for My Husband. He is Deaf. He enjoyed watching series one, which had closed captions, English Subtitles. Before making my online purchase I went to Bestbuy's on line helpline and did a live chat with their agent. I asked her specifically if the three seasons had CC, s. After investigating she came back online and said " Definitely YES" So I ordered them and a friend of mine in California had them shipped to Australia. They arrived yesterday... and... guess what... they do not have subtitles. Can you imagine my Husband's disappointment. I emailed Bestbuy and did a live chat, so unhelpful. The original enquiry agent gave me incorrect information on a purchase of $140. So incompetent, but, Oh yes, they got a sale. Well... Bestbuy... GOODBYE.

Can I give 0 stars? I will never ever buy from this company again. I bought a washing and dryer machine, with installation and haul away services included and the deliver have been rescheduled 3 times. Today when they finally came to deliver it, I found out that the drivers were only gonna deliver the machines and somehow the installation and haul away of my old machines were taken off from the order. Result: I have a washer and a dryer left in the middle of my living room. After calling to resolve the situation, being transferred to 3 different agents and staying on the phone for 1 hour, I found out I gotta call back tomorrow to reschedule yet again the service, since the order was not opened for editions. Worst service ever. When these companies are going to start to be punished for misleading the customer?
The day of delivery I received a call from the delivery person regarding my washing machine to tell me that the machine had a large dent in the back so did I want the machine with dent or a new one? I told the person that what I wanted was what I bought, a new washing machine? I asked them when they would have a new undented one? They told me that they did not know that I would have to talk to the "office". The "office" told me that if I accepted the dented machine I would get a rebate of $100. I took the dented machine and surprise surprise, no rebate! I have tried to contact with them with no success so the conclusion is that this company is a ripoff. There are plenty of other places with better prices to buy so my advice is "buyer beware" this is not a good company!
Worst experience ever! Will never order from Best Buy online again for our business. Ordered a dryer for a rental property in January and the site showed it was in stock and available. The day of delivery after email confirmation of our appointment, it never shows. I call Lynn to be told it will be delivered on the seventh. It was supposed to be here between 7 AM and 1 PM. At 11:40 AM I get a call that they won't be delivering it. At this point the residents that live at this rental have taken two different days off to be home for this delivery. And now no dryer. On calling in after a very long amount of time on the phone I was told that they contacted the warehouse and assured me that it would be in town on February 11 and would be delivered for sure on Friday, February 12. Guess what. I got an email today, the 11th, that my item was no longer in stock. I called and was given multiple different excuses hung up on after what was supposedly a bad connection though they confirmed my number and never called me back, and was told that they could get me the dryer I ordered March 18. A dryer that showed online it was available when I ordered it, and then promised delivery three different times and never showed. Absolutely unacceptable business practices.
The resolution, next time I order something from Best Buy they will compensate me for my troubles. Are you kidding me. Why would I ever order from you again? Thank you Lowe's. I called they had one in stock as their website showed and they are delivering it for me tomorrow
I bought an Amanda dishwasher in September 2020 from Best Buy With a 5 yr warranty. Total was $500.85 It leaves dishes soak and wet, never dries or gets hot enough to clean well. Went to the store, offered to buy the $1200. Top of the line one but they refused to take back the lemon so I am stuck with a piece of junk that needs to be put in the alley. Repair man came twice and said there is nothing wrong with the washer, it's just the way it performs. Thing is all made of plastic so it will never get hot enough. Sharp plastic on inside top door. I Will Never Shop at BB as long as I live. I told my friends and family to never shop there because there is no lemon law at that store.
If no star had been an option I would have awarded no star. I ordered and paid for a refrigerator two weeks ago and was told the delivery will take place today between 7 AM and 1pm. I was also told this morning that the technicians were on their way and in reliance on their word I ordered groceries. About 10 minutes before my 1 o'clock time slot I got a text saying that oops the refrigerator is not on the truck... will deliver next week. This means I would be without a functional refrigerator for basically 3 1/2 weeks. After five hours of useless repetitive apologetic phone calls up the corporate ladder being passed around like a hot potato at a keto fest... (I had to go corporate because apparently the Chesapeake store manager has a phone allergy and won't touch a phone. Corporate could not get him to pick up they were on hold for 45 minutes...) Best Buy admitted that they sold me a refrigerator they don't exactly have. So if you want to wait ten days get lied about your delivery and waste a full day chasing obsequious useless apologies going nowhere, deal with Best Buy. Me... I cancelled my order and bought the fridge elsewhere. At 5:30 tonight... Adam the manager made some little girl call me because apparently his phone allergy precludes him actually doing his job. What did she offer me? Useless apologies.

Worst shopping experience ever! I placed a store pickup order on 20th, they said I could pick it up on 27th. But I didn't receive the email on that day so I contacted the customer service immediately via website chat and they told me the item was already in the store and was prepared to be picked up the next day. Then when I contacted them again the next day, the other agent told me the item had been purchased by other customers?! What's the meaning of placing a store pickup order and paying for it in advance if you can't hold my order? Now they just told me sorry there is nothing we can do for you! Still can't believe they just let someone else take the item that I already paid for it. Horrible service!
For the 2nd time in the past 3 weeks I have attempted to call my local BestBuy store in Clearwater, FL to ask a question. In each instance, I was put on hold for over 25 minutes only to have my call disconnected without ever speaking to anyone.
If i could leave zero stars I would. I purchased an e gift card through this awful company and their third party company and not only did they take the money out of my account for "authorization purposes" but they then sent me an email saying they couldnt process my payment yet they took the money from our account. We then called their customer support in which they transferred us to multiple departments, about ten different departments, none of which knew what they were doing or talking about. Only to be told that the funds would be placed back into my account pending my banks authorization. We were wanting to buy an i pad for our kid with that today and now we arent going to be able to thanks to good old best buy and their third party cash star. Stay away from this establishment. They do not know how to treat their customers and they are borderline theives.
Purchasing a fridge from Best Buy was a complete and utter joke that I don't even know where to begin. Our initial delivery never came. We had our food out and waiting for six hours, and no one ever showed up. I made several phone calls to different reps to reschedule. After several inconvenient phone calls, I finally gave up and went with whatever schedule they have available.
The day finally came for our second delivery. The delivery guy informed us that the fridge is damaged; therefore, they would have to reschedule (for a THIRD delivery). This whole ordeal has been the most horrific buying experience in my life ever.
I would go into detail to show how elementary Best Buy has its scheduling system and interoffice communication, but I want customers to read my review and understand what is ahead of them when purchasing home appliances with Best Buy.
This is a good online shop to buy all of the electronic devices that you need because they have a very huge slection. I wanted a good phone and i was able to get one at a good one a good price and it works so well. The service was great and what I loved most about him was how fast they were able to deliver what I had ordered.
They have a lot of good offers on electronic devices. If you want to buy that when you have always been interested in buying at a discount when you will be able to do so. I was able to order what I ended for them at a good price with a little discount that makes a difference and I am glad.
What I like about this online shop is the level of honestly. So far I have not been able to identify any fake or counterfeit products being sold in here They have only the good kind of products because I have bought form them several times and everything that I have got has always ebne the right one and working fine.

Answer: All I can say is that you obviously have been very lucky. I was a dedicated customer for 25 years, however, I would do without before I ever spent another dime in a Best Buy!
Answer: I would write a letter to your state's attorney general. There are laws regarding taking advantage of senior citizens. I would specifically ask for documentation from Best Buy in which your grandmother gave them permission to recycle her 18 month old computer. If they cannot produce that document they may be in very big trouble with the state's attorney general. I would also write the BBB and contact your public officials. This I think would be paramount to theft if your grandmother did not give them permission to recycle her computer. On the flip side of things, ASUS is a very good machine. My son is a computer scientist and swears by ASUS. I have three ASUS machines one of which is over 5 years old and it is a workhorse. Unless something significant happens in the ASUS business world, I will continue to buy ASUS!
