I've been ordering for years and just had the worst experience. Fully charged for valentines gift not delivered until today! Called, emailed customer service and submitted online inquires since Friday. 4 days no answer, no reply. Terrible person on the other end of the phone asking me for tons of personal information, personal info I'm never asked for and couldn't get anywhere with her for 15 minutes. She had no idea what the company sold or what I was asking. I had my order # my email order receipt/confirmation and my payment receipt. So what can be so difficult? Then, It just arrived to my mom's house today 4pmEST. Her guests have long gone that I bought them for her to share with. And Shari's had the audacity to send me an automatic thank you email today for my purchase! What a joke. I've turned so many friends and family members on to them but I will never order from them again and I am letting everyone know. Down hill all the way.
My flowers vase from pro flowers arrived broken and my strawberries and cherries cane 4 days looking nothing like the picture I don't understand why ups delivery's the items either
Last year for Christmas we ordered gift sets for our in-laws and it was terrible. I should have never allowed another order. THEN Valentine's Day my husband ordered for me and when we received the delivery, it wasn't complete and the berries were HORRIBLE. Not sure why this company is even still in business.
Even though my husband paid extra for guaranteed delivery on Valentines day they never came. When he complained they offered a 10 credit and said the berries would come the next day. When they did I was shocked at the quality. For a much as they cost the berries were smaller than the ones I could have bought myself at Walmart And the decorations looked like my 10 year old grandchild had made them. One berry had 2 sprinkles attached. And the berries weren't even ripe. Poor quality! Definately not worth the money he paid for them! Photos below show the advertisement and the other is what they actually look like when you get them!
Copy of the letter I sent today... I am only going to say this once my order no is ************** ups which is not legit. The order was never received. I have a large shipping dept and they could not get ups to verify order.If you do not refund my account today I am going forward with at least 50 to 60 folks who were scammed just like me... I have researched the charges of interstate fraud but had to wait to you removed money from my account. Product packaging was a disaster and berries were not in trays, most were broken with coatings off. When I sent in my review, they apologized and offered me a gift of 30% off of any purchase over $29 which is a joke. Do not buy these products!
I order strawberries for my 79 year old mom for valentines day I placed my order on the 12th. They didn't arrive until 8pm on the 15th. My mom was heartbroken thinking i'd forgotten about her. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. For the lack of customer service. SAVE YOUR $$ don't order from this company
I have ordered feom sherries berries the last 3 yrs and thos yr was awful ice packs were melted berries were small and the seemed lile they were half rotten when i got them.
Do not use Shari's Berries. I ordered for Valentine's Day and the order never arrived. I was never contacted by the company to tell me there were delays or problems with the order, and the recipient was the one to tell me they never received anything when I asked, ruining the occasion and the surprise. They did refund my purchase after I called to ask about the order, but I would have appreciated knowing earlier if the order was delayed so I could arrange something else with a local store. Clearly ordering online is not a good plan, lesson learned. This company doesn't value their customer and you shouldn't waste your money on a product that never arrives.
Ordered on the 2/11/2019 a dozen roses and 12 strawberries to be delivered on 2/14/19 before 4:00pm. For my daughter whom manages a luxury store in a large shopping mall. I received two emails advising " you have made someone's day, your order was delivered today 2/14/2019". I had not heard from my daughter and decided to ask her... they NEVER WERE DELIVERED! I was embarrassed, disheartened and livid to say the least. Got on the phone with an FTD call center located in another country ( I am in the US) and they kept advsing " there was an error in their system that advised me of the arrival". Needless to say, this is far from acceptable. After reading what people actually received, I may be better off that my daughter did not receive what others describe! Horrible "service"... spread the word. I can think of other words that begin with "s" to name this berry company!
My guaranteed valentines day delivery wasn't delivered on time. Customer service threw me through a loop where I call them, they send me to the florist who sends me back to customer service who sends me back to the florist, and so on. I was also hung up on 3 out of 4 times that I called thursday night. It took 7 calls total over a day to get help and a refund. I work for minimum wage and spent the equivalent of 20 hours worth of pay on a gift that my girlfriend of 4 years didn't receive meanwhile I received her gifts which caused a fight between us. And furthermore, the unwillingness to help or compensate me in any way until my final call, which was an hour long, made me believe that I was being stalled in the hope that I'd give up so you could keep my money. Not only will I never be ordering from you again, but I will dissuade everyone I know from ordering here.
I bought a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for my daughters 21st birthday, Valentine's Day. I paid extra for Vday delivery. Not only did the tracking show a delay, it showed they were scheduled to arrive on the 18th. This is far too long in transit, Feb 12-18. I've emailed many times and been asked for the same information over and over. I was initially offered my shipping cost refunded and a discount on a future order. This box will be rotten by the time it arrives. I don't want to pay for one penny of it. Customer service was clearly in another country, speaking incredibly difficult to understand English. I would give a zero rating if I could. DO NOT ORDER FROM SHARI'S BERRIES!
My husband ordered chocolate covered strawberries for both myself and my daughter to be delivered on Valentines Day. Today is the 17th and they still haven't arrived. When I called I was told the refund could take 1-28 days. Never again!
Fraudulent claims on radio ads. Small strawberries and mediocre short stem low quality roses for top notch price. Don't buy, you'll feel ripped off. I did. Bad bad disappointment.
Bought for my wife. Robbed me of the opportunity to do better by her. Don't do the same mistake.
Ordered berries and cheesecake four days in advance of Valentine's Day, to be delivered to hubby's hotel room in Disneyworld. At 5:45 pm on Valentine's Day, I received an email -- not even a phone call -- informing me that the delivery would not happen. It was, of course, too late for me to scramble and find some other gift for my husband. The same email informed me that they would deliver the next day. However, the point was Valentine's Day, not the day after, and also my husband was checking out first thing in the morning. They offered me a $10 refund... I emailed back telling them that my husband would not be at the hotel the next day, and demanding a full refund plus sending fresh berries and cheesecake, not the berries and cheesecake that at this point had been in transit for several days, to our home address. They still delivered to the hotel, the next day, long after hubby had checked out. And, I have not heard anything further from the company and certainly have not received anything from them.
My husband ordered 2 dozen chocolate covered strawberries to give me on Valentines Day. He paid extra for them to be delivered before noon as he had a mid day dinner plan for us also. They arrived at 4:30. We contacted the company and they immediately not only refunded the extra shipping fee for delivery before noon but also all the shipping costs. Customer service did a great job. AND, the berries were so good! We will order again from this company as they stepped up and did the right thing which I might add so many companies simply don't. We do business with companies that treat their customers as valued assets. Shari's Berries did that.
MY SON BUYS THESE EVERY YEAR FOR ME BECAUSE THEY WERE SO GREAT. LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR ALL I CAN SAY IS "WHAT A RIP OFF!" THEY WERE 7 TINY, TWO LARGE THE REST MEDIUM AND ALL REALLY SOUR. MAYBE HALF RIPE... EVEN THE COATING WAS NOT NICE LIKE IT USE TO BE. I AM GOING TO ASK MY SON NOT TO BUY ANYMORE.
I'd give less than 1 star but there isn't an option. After you get a $25 order and be slapped with $45 deliveries and fees. Oh did I mention I didn't want the morning delivery because the recipient wasn't going to be there in the morning? They do whatever they want and bill you for whatever they want and then when you call them Out on it they say I'm sorry we can deliver it next year. Awful customer service and awful company
The chocolates were great and well packaged. My order was delivered late, like everyone else but they worked hard to make it right and have me double what I paid for. And refunded me for my shipping. Based on the reaction of everyone's late delivery I'm guessing something big happened and affected a lot of deliveries. I WILL order from them again. Mistakes happen, it's about how you recover from them that makes the difference
This is a terrible company. I ordered their chocolate covered strawberries to be delivered on 13 February 2019. After that came and went I found out they screwed the order up and was going to be coming out on February 13,2020. I'm working on trying to get a refund. Save your money and don't spend it all at sheri's berries.
Answer: Because they f@ckimg suck, that's why. Once they get your money, piss off. They charged me 4 times for my order and never responded to any of my emails.
