I have been using this site for almost 2 years. Ofcourse something is better than nothing but they are very sticky some times.
Just started using this site after many years with other similar sites and this one is certainly a keeper. Their minimum payouts are FAR SUPERIOR to any I have used (FOUR) and it is pretty streamlined and straightforward. So far I recommend after my first payout request. No problems with receiving earnings as I have ordered online through their site. Will update this if anything changes.

Reversing many cash back too many times when items were purchased through link. They keep saying the site "denied" transaction... yet I supplied the words from the e-mail, supplied the order#, DID NOT cancel the order, and yet I do not get a refund? Never have this issue with Rakuten
Have used multiple cash back sites. BeFrugal used to be my favorite. Guess they thought I was making too much money or something because all of a sudden they stopped paying me my cashback claiming I didn't click through their links correctly. I kept with it a few more times just to make sure it wasn't an user error while using more reputable companies like Ebates or MrRebates. Turns out every one of those shopping trips at Ebates and MrRebates worked perfectly and when I use BeFrugal they kept denying me. Maybe they just wanted to keep all my money... so I stopped with this lousy company and have been happily getting cash back from MrRebates now. BeFrugal is a complete waste of time and their customer service is total trash.

Befrugal is not a terrible site, but I've had better luck with other cashback sites. I do most of my shopping through other sites that seem to track purchases a little more accurately. Sometimes when cashback amounts are in flux, Befrugal has trouble reporting the proper percentage on purchased. This happened to me purchasing from Dell on black friday a couple years ago. As cashback was constantly changing, I grabbed it at a certain high percentage but when it was reported the percentage back didn't equate to my purchase, it was lower. I've also had issues with purchases through Amazon. But like I said, if they have a really high percentage, killing other sites' rates, I will use Befrugal. But if they are only a percentage or 2 better, I'll take the hit and use a more reliable site so I know I'm getting that money back without any hassle.
Have been paid nearly $500 over the years now. A few times it didn't track (perhaps my fault?) or i didn't realize there was special terms, but overall good site.
Absolute lie, they promised a cash back match and they never matched any rate on my suessfully reported ebay transactions, rakuten is at 2% while they are at 1.25%, they promised a 125% match, well now, I know that was a lie, they just lost my business.
There is a guy named Todd on there who will literally play dumb to avoid paying you and will waste your time with copy and paste messages!

I have beeb a be frugal member for over 10 years. I never shop with out checking Be Frugal first. Rebates post fast and if a rebate if missed the be frugal staff promptly investigates any issues.
(member since Nov 2019) The trick is to just lower your expectation. As my grandmother used to say, "it beats a sharp stick in the eye" so I'll just be happy that there is anything at all. There is no customer service phone number. They have live chat that is rarely available. I did manage to get it today. Learned my Amazon purchases didn't get tracked because I used the extension popup instead of logging into BeFrugal and then going to Amazon. Turns out the extension doesn't actually work with Amazon so I have about $200 of purchases that aren't eligible for rebates. This can work, but it is A LOT of work to follow which categories from which retailers are eligible. And apparently it changes regularly, so just because a purchase was eligible one day, it may not be the next.
This is a scam. I have made different purchases on Amazon but i recieved no cash back at all. Be Frugal is making money over users clicks on sites.

I LOVE BeFrugal! I used to be a part of rakutan but once i found these guys, i deleted my account. They'd never pay on things they were supposed to & gave me grief always. BE FRUGAL IS SO MUCH MUCH BETTER! I have NEVER had a complaint about them. People that complain obviously don't get the whole gist of cashback sites. Ignore them. THIS IS A DEFINITE 200 STAR RATING!
