Placed orders for some items but those items were never shipped out. Called to get a refund and got the run around. Been about 3 weeks and still no refund issued for items not received.

I purchased a beautiful wamsutta bathroom rug from Bed, Bath & Beyond... the color is exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, the quality is substandard. The rug sheds terribly and I track it throughout my bedroom. I couldn't find it on my purchases to review, so I came to this site. It's disappointing, I love the color and size is perfect for my double vanity sink. Buyers beware of the quality you red receive.

I ordered the Novogratz Collection Brittany Futon on October 9th and received an email with receipt and a thank you for my order. Estimated delivery time was from Oct 16-23rd. Being that I never received a follow up email like most sites (including Amazon and Wayfair) do, telling me that my item had been shipped, I decided to call in. When I tried that, I was offered to chat, so I did. And my response was simply the following: " We're sorry your order has been cancelled. You were not charged for the canceled items unless you paid with a Gift Card or Merch Credit. In that case, a refund will post to your My Funds account within 48 hours. How else can I help you?" Can you believe this? I was supposed to possibly receive my sofa today. I was COUNTING on this delivery to be received TODAY or during the week at the latest and now I have nothing! I demanded to speak to a supervisor and although, I did eventually get a call back from Jack who was a nice person, he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that would make me want to continue to be a Bed Bath & Beyond customer. The inconvenience that this has caused me is a really big one. I had a house warming party the following weekend and now I have no living room sofa. I have to find a whole new sofa with a reliable company and it will take more time to receive. Or end up much more expensive if I have to pay for a rush delivery. Do NOT buy online with Bed Bath & Beyond if you don't want your item to be canceled without notification or good reason: my credit card is in perfect standing and all payments are going through without any issue with other vendors. The issue had nothing to do with me. This review will be posted in all major review platforms on the internet. I wouldn't want this to happen to someone else if I can help it.

I am shocked at how the quality of the sheets for bedding has declined. Went into their Woodbridge store in N. J. and saw only noname sheets and a very limited selection. Thank goodness for Macys.

This is the second time I made a purchase from this company and it was as disappointing as the first one.
Problems: 1) Never received an email with confirmation of purchase. 2) Merchandise shipped came in an open box. 3) Missing 2 of the 4 wood chip containers shown at time of purchase. 4) Customer service agent was from India or some other country. Polite but impossible to understand and connection was terrible. Hopefully the agent will have missing parts sent to me.
My first experience with a kitchen appliance was similar, merchandise also came in an open box with missing parts.

Poor service
September 30, 2021

I purchased curtains and I can't find my receipt I went in. One package was open and the other was not. Because Adriane said she does not carry that length she would not even give me store credit. I had to go find another Bed Bath and Beyond. Rather surprising the terrible customer service. I am a member as well. Super disappointed. The s is the first bad review I have ever written about any business.

STOP USING ONTRAC SHIPPING!

I have planned to register for baby gifts at Bed Bath & Beyond, but because you use a third-party shipping company that allows items to sit at their facility for days/weeks past expected delivery date, I've decided to register elsewhere. The OnTrac reviews for Boise, ID alone should tell you just how awful they are.

I have never made a worse purchase in my life than from this store. I purchased with a general BBB gift card that could be used at Harms, Buy Buy Baby, all their other stores. I made a purchase from BBB.com, and they sent the wrong curtains. Instead of the refund going back to a gift card that I could use at any of their stores, they put it in MyFunds as an expiratory amount, which makes no sense. I made another order, had no choice but to since I can't spend the gift card somewhere else, and the item that came also didn't work. Fast forward to months later, and I still am stuck with these MyFunds that I can't get rid of. I never want to purchase from this store again and have been trying not to, but I have no choice but to use these MyFunds before they expire. If there is one store I recommend not purchasing from, it's Bed Bath and Beyond. Go literally anywhere else where you will easily get your money back if there are any issues. I hate this store and will never in my life buy a gift card for myself or anyone else here.

Haven't received refund
September 17, 2021

I returned 4 items and have not received refund for two of the items even though it shows they have received the items. It's been way past 2 weeks and I've spoken to multiples reps. The first 3 said I would get a refund within 24 hours and it never happened and the 4th rep said that I couldn't get a refund because it shows that I still owe afterpay even though I sent pics showing I have paid off my balance. It makes no sense as to why I haven't gotten my other two refunds! They are giving me excuse after excuse so that they can not refund me because I have proof of my afterpay balance that's shows a zero balance. I will not purchase anything from this company ever again!

Poor corporate managment

For five month I have been trying to renew my membership which I have been for years. Because of a new glitch in their software I can't, and nobody follows through. Can't get it fixed, management doesn't act or follow through. Really frustrating for a long term customer and corporate doesn't care. If they did they would act on what they said they would do.

Yesterday, I ordered an item on the BBB web site for same-day delivery. They charge $10 for that. "Same day delivery!" shouts the web-site. Foolish me. No-show. This morning, I called and spoke to someone with a glancing relationship to English. I (thought I) canceled the order. Then, DoorDash sent a text saying the driver was coming. I called BBB again. Only the 2nd time did the rep seem to understand, although I was on hold for most of the 20-minute call. The DD driver showed. I had the BBB rep tell her to take it back to the store. I assume the order is now canceled. If not, I'll contest the charge. Won't have to wait 20 minutes on the phone. What a hassle. I don't think BBB understands that its products (certainly what I ordered) are fungible - I could easily have ordered from Amazon, Target, Walmart. Won't make the mistake again.

Disappointed

On 1 occasion I purchased a cold brew coffee maker. I got home with it, opened it and it was used. Disgustingly stained with coffee! Seriously why put a used item back on the shelf? So unsanitary. I live 30 min. Away from nearest BedB&B so returning was not a simple run back and exchange ordeal. Anyways I called to let them know and they were polite and told me to return at my convenience. On trip 2 I went to purchase a waffle maker. The red price tag on the shelf said was$99.99 Now$49.99. So my husband and I put two in our cart. Got to register and it rang up $99.99. A young man ran back to price check as well as myself and I took a photo of the price tag. And ask the lady working the area if $49.99 was the price for said waffle maker and she said yes it says that so I have to honor that price. She seemed angry and ripped the red tag off the shelf. Meanwhile the young man made it back to the register before me and told the cashier $99.99. So my husband who was still waiting to pay went ahead and paid full price for only 1. I get up to the service desk and show them the sale price and the lady tells me well he already paid for the 1st one so I can only honor the $49.99 for the 2nd waffle maker. Just rude! Should have honored price for both since we had both to begin with

I bought a Jerdon Lighted Makeup Mirror on the Bed Bath Beyond website and within months it stopped working. I called the BBB customer service line and was sent a downloadable free Fedex return label and a refund on my credit card for the electrician's fee. After mailing the mirror back to BBB and finding out it had been received, I didn't see a refund. I called customer service and was told to wait a full 5 business days for the refund. Several days later, I received a delivery - it was the original non-working mirror! No letter or other documents in the box except for the note I enclosed when I sent to BBB. I called customer service, and now I'm told that I wouldn't be receiving a refund nor credit because the purchase was made more than 90 days ago. This AFTER I was assured that I was receiving a credit in full so I could purchase a new mirror. I spent A LOT of money over many years at BBB. I see why they're going out of business - many stores have already closed! The customer service is terrible and inconsistent. I won't be buying anything else from the company.

I paid for a gift and received shipping confirmation... it was never shipped. Three phone calls, three requests for a supervisor and three hang ups because the customer service people were either misinformed or failed to understand the gift registry

I've been ordering from bed bath and beyond for years and my last 2 orders were horrible. I ordered a bunk it was suppose to be 2 fulls and I went and bought 2 full mattress for it. So the bunk beds get delivered and I got a full and a twin bunk bed. I call customer service and they say the description on the site was wrong and where I got the mattress they wouldn't exchange the full for a twin mattress. So I had to go buy a twin mattress due to bed bath and beyond sending the wrong item. So weeks later I buy a desk it gets delivered and it's suppose to be 2 box's and only one is delivered. I call fed ex they say only one box waS sent. Bed bath and beyond said they would reach out to the 3rd party selller but they also only see one box being sent out when clearly on the box I got it says 1 out of 2! I'm so disappointed from the services I've been getting these past 2 orders. Now I have to go to Wal mart to buy a desk when I really wanted the one I ordered from bed bath and beyond

Horrible customer service! We were promised that missing parts from an order would be sent to us. They never came. Now customer service can find no record of the order. Umbra curtain rods came incomplete and BBB will not correct the problem. We ordered a new curtain rod which also came missing hardware. Bed Bath & Beyond and Umbra... NEVER AGAIN!

Rachel Zoe bedding

I bought a comforter by Rachel Zoe at BB and B. When I took it out of the packaging it had an odor. So I laundered it and it has not held up well. It already has a RIP. I am very disappointed in this product as I am a big BB and B customer and loved Rachel Zoe.
