I will never ever use bb&b again. My online order has been a shoppers worst nightmare. I have been waiting a week on "order processing" status. After contacting then I am told product was on backorder. When buying online it falsely stated would ship in 2 days. I have received 2 of the 5 items I ordered a week ago. I am still missing 2 items that the shipping details have been the same for 2 days. I online shop more than in store and I have never experienced anything so terrible. A complete cluster of crap. I DO NOT recommend buying anything from BB&B online. Worst service ever and still waiting for items. I even contacted customer service who assured me my item would ship the next day. When I didn't receive item I contacted them again and was told the truth the 2nd go around. Backordered. I give them a ZERO for online shopping.
Bed bad and beyond, they offer you a membership for discounts but at the end they still ripp you off, for example i bought a stand, regular price was $599, with their membership $480 plus taxes, but exactly the same stand is on amazon and target for $375 lol, and i check other items and is the same, my bad that i look it up too late after i already bought it at bed bad and beyond, i recommend everybody before buying anything here, check prices somewhere else.
I recieved a message today saying that my account was closed do to inactivity. Because I received multiple items that were damaged. Did not know if you dont use their card regularly they will close your account. This will put a hard hit on my credit score. Be ver careful with this company.
Store 1356 in Roseville MN is stellar, and has my HIGHEST recommendation. I have too many wonderful stories to tell you about in this tiny space here. This particular store deserves 6 stars, mainly because of the staff and the managers. Wonderful people, wonderful place, great product, and if they don't have it they ALWAYS find it for me. I've never wanted to SING the Praises of a Store like this before. Store 1356 in Roseville MN is stellar, and has my HIGHEST recommendation.
I recently placed an online order which ended up with items being out of stock. It's annoying to pay for items that end up not being in stock. It's even more annoying that there was no sign of any refund being processed for those items!
I was assured by the cashier at pickup that I would receive an email receipt after pickup. I never received a receipt. Instead I received a confirmation of pickup for the complete order -including items that I never received!
I proceeded to chat with an agent and request a refund. I had to correct them when they gave me an insufficient refund amount. They then gave me a refund amount not including taxes! When I asked about why taxes are not refunded, they said they'd need to open a case with their internal team to refund the full amount. Ridiculous. Of course the full amount should always be refunded. It was their fault for not have the stocked items updated properly and allowing me to order unavailable items in the first place.
They need to update their system for online transactions. Most other businesses automatically and immediately refund me for out of stock items. Even better are those that are up to date with their stock.
Rather than providing convenience with online ordering, I ended up spending more time and frustration having to sort the refund.
Tried to buy a Kate and Laurel wall mirror as a gift. Had beveled edges and a white frame. Opened it up. Two corner edges had at least 1/8" gap and the corners looked bulged. It wasn't due to shipping. The hard cardboard backing was glued over the cracks. I returned it. Then I tried to order the product a second time, which was a waste of time. Exact same problem. Now I have to return this one. Can someone give me back my time and remove my trouble?!? Don't buy this product from Bed Bath and Beyond! You'll regret it. And surely don't try it twice! Disgusted.
Once again—- you've changed the delivery date. 5th time.
What's up BB&B—- this is truly the worst online purchase I have EVER experienced. Dude—- just deliver the item. Should be simple, right?
As if it wasn't odd enough already, today both OXO grinders were finally delivered by USPS. One shipping label was completely unreadable and showed a hand written remark "no scan" on it. The second label was fine. I contacted BB&B customer service by email and asked them to organize pick up of their two grinders at my house. To be continued...
So, after this more than disappointing and extremely annoying experience with Customer Service I was trying to close my account with BB &B, but no such thing on their homepage. Contacted BB&B per Email three days ago about my wish to close, but no success so far. They offered me a store coupon in the aftermath of this debacle in a separate email regarding my OXO Grinder shipment Odyssey, but I'm not going to do buy a thing from this failed business anymore. So, two stars for finally trying. A little too late, though Please, just close my account ASAP!
I ordered a grinder on December 31 that was supposed to be delivered guaranteed on January 5,2022. Until today I haven't received the order. I talked multiple times to customer service, they sent out a replacement that didn't arrive yet either. I requested a refund, because I ordered the same grinder for the full price on Amazon prime and don't need it anymore. The refund confirmation was sent to me but it wasn't actually cleared in their system, i. E. it wasn't okayed by the next higher level, even though they sent me a confirmation including a time frame when to expect the refund. I called again, talked to customer service again. Complained to the better business bureau as well. Now I'm waiting again for 5 days for my refund. This company is terrible. Customer service is not worth a penny. They just tell you what you want to hear, but they don't actually do anything other than self serving requests for a good review after the phone call. Today is January 14 and I'm waiting now for either the arrival of the product or finally getting my money back. This is not how you treat a paying customer!
There seems to be no probelm with ordering one or two items on-line, BUT - for God's sake don't try to order three items at the same time - the order goes to hell quickly - they will process the 1st - two item without any problems, the 3rd item for some damm reason always creates an issue - either - they no longer suddenly don't have it, pricing is wrong on it, otr you muct come to the store to pick it up - no problem shipping the other 2 items - just not that 3rd item - the whole on-line experience IS to have it SHIPPED to your home so you don't have to go to the damm store to pick it up! Next, try to cancel out the 3rd item that they can't ship to your home and you will spend a good 1/2 hour talking to customer service about it - and anotehr 1/2 hour trying to correctly correct the billing amount after removing the 3rd item. This has happened a number of times - I don't understand why they can't comprehend an order beyond 2 items. TOTALLY screwed up on-line site. I'm no longer a customer of BBB - screw them!
If I had not been shopping for my wife with a gift card that was given to her, I would not have tortured myself for more than an hour, and that was checking out, not shopping! The website was allowing me to put items into my shopping bag (cart) that were not even available. To make it worse, it didn't notify me that it wasn't available until I put the card number in. I had to put the gift card number in 5 times and my debit card in twice to pay the overage change! A real Nightmare!
Amazon might be to big and powerful, but they did get their website down pat.
I ordered a Norelco 9500 electric shaver on line but when I went to the store. They tried to give me Norelco 9450.
They cancelled my order before Christmas so my gift did not arrive. No explanation given. Spent 20 min on the phone with customer service. They swore they would investigate why the manager cancelled the sale. Never heard a peep. They have lost my business permanently. Terrible companies have no customer service and this is a terrible company.
I've used bed Bath & beyond online several times over the past couple years. It didn't work a few years ago and it still doesn't work today! This is the worst online store I've ever shopped at. The website needs a whole new facelift. It's slow, It doesn't work properly, And it's extremely frustrating to shop with them. Customer service is even worse, I was on hold for 30 minutes this week before someone answered support, Now I'm on hold with a chat bot for 20 minutes. On a good note the items and prices are decent but not worth all the hassle. This store is going to go out of business! I purchased this lamp which was a bit pricey now that I found out the crystals are plastic. Returns are inconvenient as well.
First time ordering online from BB&B. Will NEVER do it again. Order 3 plastic shelf organizers, they sent me a pack of 3 frying pan protectors and a pack of Gerber baby t-shirts. Had my original invoice in box along with an invoice for the person who ordered the pot protectors... not sure who the baby shirts belonged to. They sent these 2 small items in a large box. They wouldn't send my actual order until I sent back the 2 other items. Finally, my actual order arrived. They sent my LARGE plastic shelf organizers in a flimsy plastic bag?!? Say what? They were all stacked and stuck together and the bottom one was cracked. I'm ticked beyond belief and will not even bother filing a return. I just don't want to deal with these incompetent imbeciles any longer.
You can not get anyone on the phone. They give wait times of 90 minutes and more.
Tried the texting option because they dont have a live chat. Wait times 8 hours, 6 hours and then no one texts you. They absolutely suck! DO NOT BUY ON LINE! I even called the store, they

Currently it is November but I made a big purchase of over 40 items online in September. I called to receive an updated status because I have not received them all. Mrs. Yolanda helped track all purchases but not only did she help me with that but since the item was discontinued she gave me a few options I can use to still execute without having to spend more money or even return (since the items were already purchased in store.)
It may not seem like much but she was super helpful, professional, and customer service skills were amazing! This process to track the shipments took at least an hour but she was still willing to assist.
If you need any assistance or have any problems with any purchases at the Bed Bath & Beyond in DC I HIGHLY recommend talking to her!
Fine if you want to browse in the store. But online purchase was a huge mistake. They are totally incompetent and chaotic. Amazon can deliver same bookcase in four days. These folks lost the first shipment, lied about expediting the second try, and also would not cancel the order... Could be a full MONTH to get a 4 day delivery item. I will not go near their brick and motar store either because of this foolishness.
I recently made a purchase at BB&B and used a $25 coupon if I purchased $100 or more. The total bill was $150 and some odd cents and when I checked out, it showed that I paid $127 and some odd cents. But when I checked my bank account, questions what, it was the original amount of $150, not the adjusted amount of $127. I threw my receipt away even though I requested an email receipt. Guess what! I did not get an email receipt. I think the clerk pocketed $25. I love this store but will never go back, I feel I have been robbed, cannot trust them!
I ordered a gift for a wedding shower to be gift wrapped. It came not wrapped. They only gave me my money for the gift wrapping. They offered me 20% off of my next order. The same 20% you get for signing up with email. So basically they did nothing.
I will be paying off my card as soon as I can, I had a little problem with my computer and it will not take my password, so I tried to do a new one but it won't let me it won't send me a new code, so I tried calling them to pay my $#*!ing bill oh god that's worse, because you can only get a computer, but if you want to talk to a real person don't want to $#*!ing charge you nine $#*!ing dollars. I will be paying this off within the next two months and I do not want to shop there no more $#*! you keep your money you cheat mother$#*!ing billionaires, God for bid you do anything

Answer: How can you share a success story when you hold on three separate phone calls for an excess of 16 hours to resolve a refund issue where you are not able to make contact through email because of a shortage of employees yet you are told that you exceeded the 15-minute window? I have been waiting for my refund since the 13th of August and I have yet to receive it
Answer: Bed Bath & Beyond is a scam! They took my money and NEVER sent my order and won't give me a refund! The worste online shopping experience I have ever had!
