The worst company I have had the misfortune of ordering from online. There is no way to contact anyone and you will wait a minimum of three days between each correspondence. They send packages to the wrong addresses, it took over a week between payment for the order to even be confirmed, I could go on. It's fine when it's fine but they don't carry anything particularly special enough for me to warrant this kind of treatment. I would strongly advise anyone to considering buying from other companies that can protect your data and at least answer your questions within a reasonable time and can actually tell you where the items you've paid for are. Would never order again.

DO NOT BUYT FROM HERE

Bought a scarf, opened the package and saw that it was much too short. Immediately re-packaged everything and asked for a refund. Was advised that because I had opened the plastic packaging covering the scarf (!) I was not allowed a refund. Online purchases are covered by the consumer contracts regulations. It is funny how during the covid pandemic this company tries their best to lie to their customers. You cannot by law decide to not refund someone for a piece of clothing unless you believe it was handled more than it would have been if it was bought in a shop. To make matters worse, you have to constantly chase this company's customer service team to get anywhere. Don't waste your money, plenty of better companies out there!

Package took super long to get dispatched over to my country (Israel).
Then, about two months later, when it finally arrives to my country, I cannot track it anymore until I contact the costumer service which then declared it lost after four months of waiting.
I think Beauty Bay's international delivery is not good and I would not recommend it for those living outside the UK.

First last & only time I use Beauty Bay

This was my 1st, last & only time I placed an order with Beauty Bay. They have at least 1 or 2 very outspoken & callous employees running things over there on Twitter account too. I'm seeing these public Beauty Bay "announcements" that are the furthest thing from inviting & are completely obnoxious, "we are not an online chat room..." or "this is not an instant messaging service..." What "professional" posts this? This is what the public sees when they're seeking help & THAT is who they have assisting customers? That's the best they could for customer service representatives? That post screams "I already have a chip on my shoulder so watch out, & proceed with caution, if you don't kiss my $#*!, I'm going to turn into a total b****!" Who is going to want HER helping them? I wouldn't! I don't know anyone who's going to feel welcomed to reach out to have an issue resolved on Twitter after reading that! In my opinion it is borderline abusive & is saying anything but, "I'm here to help." Furthermore, they seem to forget that they're dealing with A LOT of dissatisfied &/or pissed off customers that have been dismissed, ignored, lied to & list goes on. So if they're not "equipped" to be faced with such things, then perhaps they should employ those who are while Beauty Bay's "Twitter Karens" seek different employment! Those employees are a huge reflection of what Beauty Bay is & what it is not. There's pages upon pages of 1 & 2 star reviews on that site & of the issues are the same. I will type my other issue in a separate review. What I shared here is only what I ran into when taking a different avenue trying to have an issue resolved with customer service because I was being lied to by those employees in my email exchanges.
Where the hell is management & what the hell is the CEO doing? This is incomprehensible to me! There's NO EXCUSE for poor customer service! After all, without customers, Beauty Bay wouldn't exist! Pffffff

Spent 80€ and all I got was 4 products I didn't even order. When I ask where is my order, they just keep saying that it's delivered to me. Sent photos as a proof, but all I got is that I will get 30€ cashback. Can't even return it. Worst experience with online shop.

After paying for my product plus distribution fees the website hid the fact that i also had to pay an additional $40 on import fees and taxes. First time i had to pay for a product on multiple occasions. When i told them i wanted a refund they got back to me days later just to tell me no i could not return. First time i ever wrote a bad review like this but i gotta look after my fellow consumers! Beauty BAY more like beauty PAY 5 times for one product.

Buyer beware

I purchased a mascara here and it came unpackaged and unsealed, with a sticker slapped on the tube. I asked for a refund, as clearly this doesn't meet safe beauty standards. They told me "if I felt passionately" I could contact the manufacturer as it was how it was sold to them. Excuse me, are you kidding me? You aren't going to take responsibility for what you purchased and resold as unsafe? Terrible customer service.

Not only did ny package take two months to get into my country but now since it has im being held up by a 3rd party company ( EZclear who are also a scam) demanding that I pay exorbitant customs and duties fees that can and will be circumvented by just paying through regular customs processes. I've never had a such a poor experience ordering from somewhere

They stole $60 from me. They refuse to refund my money or send my order. This was on Dec 24. I am now looking in to ways of having the business held responsible for the thousands of customers they rip off weekly.

Placed an order and can't even get something as basic as an order confirmation! Seeing all those bad reviews about your shipping performance on the internet I'm starting to regret purchasing from you. I'm in touch with your CS already getting nowhere.
I've now asked for order cancellation, again, silence at the other end.

Update: ultimately items were shipped despite missing order confirmation.

I ordered a palette 2020 12/24 (It's cost more than 30 dollars) and the haul says it's in my country but still in transit.(they said this at 2021 01/07) once I ordered an ordinary product which came in 2 weeks. I don't know what to do now, I write a letter to their email and to their twitter account.It's so much money for me and I'm so sad :(( (( I didn't get an email or anything about my haul(even I paid money for tracking)
This was the last time I ordered anything from beautybay, Never again.
I hope I'm gonna get a refund somehow...

Last year I bought about $100 in products and payed $25 for the shipping (I'm from south america). It never arrived and I kept sending them emails for them to help me. They told me many times that it was NOT their responsibility and that I had to talk with my post office (which I did and they were as inefficient as BeautyBay). ONLY AFTER 6 MONTHS they accepted the refund. I was genuinely happy because I wanted the money to buy more products. Days later I received the items and it took them no time (hours) in telling me I had to either return my products or pay them again.
I don't know how the costumer service works in the UK, but in my country, if you are giving this kind of treatment the company is given a fine because of their bad behavior against the costumer, as the lost of the parcel is not the costumer fault and ONLY because of the amount of time I waited the refund has to be done without a question.
I don't know what I'll do, as they're a horrible company.

Beauty Bay - always a great experience!

A really great website to shop on. I'm able to get my hands on brands that I otherwise can't find in the high-street stores. Shipping is always prompt and estimated times are accurate. They have various brands to choose from, whether it be a more affordable brand like NYX or more expensive brands like Anastasia Beverly Hills. There's also a nice range of accessories to choose from, like makeup brushes or sponges.
The website is super easy to use, you can search by brand names or by types of product.
It would be good to have genuine photos of the shades / colours so it would be easier to accurately choose the correct product,
Overall, I always have a really positive experience on Beauty Bay.

I ordered a Christmas gift from Beauty Bay - my first order from them. When it showed as delivered but I didn't receive anything I sent an email and explained. Each contact has taken 24hrs or so to get a response - and all have been rude and unhelpful. I think we've all had this happen at least once before - usually a store corrects it quickly and easily... this was NOT the case here. They emailed a list of questions, all basically asking me if I checked my mailbox (and similar) for the package (DUH), when I responded curtly that I had, they sent the list back again and said I needed to answer EACH ONE before they would escalate.
Frustratedly, I did so.
When I mentioned this was a Christmas gift, ordered at the beg. Of Dec with plenty of time to arrive - they didn't care. Barely apologized for the issue and said they couldn't do anything for me other than file a case with the USPS. *eyeroll*
So apparently I'm out $40, don't have a Christmas gift, and am waiting on a decision from the USPS - and then maybe Beauty Bay can finally help.

This is ridiculous. I've emailed twice since hearing this - to let them know what horrible customer service they have... they've never responded. I also think its been too long now to contact my bank - so they've successfully scammed me.
Will never use again.

I still have not receive my product because of duty issue and no answer back from Beauty Bay. Terrible customer service respond, they responded with cookie cutter reply. Beware if this is your first time ordering from them. I have emailed them 3 times! I just don't want others to go through a bad experience

I am terribly dissatisfied with their business. I waited 50 days for the package. I called them twice with inquiries about the package, they would just apologize and promise to let me know where the package is.
After they returned my money, the package arrived in 2 days. They then demanded a refund of the amount reduced by 10%.
Personally I would not recommend.

Shopping on Beauty Bay has taught me one thing. Everything is fine until a problem arises. As soon as that happens they either ignore your emails or are completely unwilling to actually solve the issue. I do not even know why I bothered buying from them again since I had a bad experience in the past too. I only know that this will certainly be the last time after what happened. My parcel was dispatched on November 16 and today, a month later, I have not received it yet. I paid 5 euros for delivery and it was supposed to arrive in 7-10 working days, something that of course never happened. Instead, my parcel shows no tracking update since November 24. I contacted customer service and they keep telling me that they will contact the courier and get back to me. However, it has been more than a week since then and I wonder how long it takes them to track a parcel. It feels like they are just ignoring me and trying to avoid giving me a refund. They do not seem to realise that, whether the delay is their fault or the courier's fault, I placed my order on their shop so it is their responsibility to find a solution promptly. At this point, I am so disappointed and angry with the shipping as well as the customer service that I just want my money back now.
