I've tried B411 for several years, off and on thinking it could only get better. Sadly, it's gotten worse. Today was the last straw. I received an email stating my profile had been accepted on GayDaddy.com... that not only had my profile picture, but the same profile name and password and info as seen on B411. In fact, when I went to look at it, it had all the trappings of B411. I didn't sign up for this nor did I give a consent to do so. And, like B411, there was no way of requesting to delete it. Fortunately I was able to reply to the email requesting it be deleted immediately, along with the B411 account. I had been trying to delete the former for quite some time with no success. This however did the trick. It's wrong and an invasion of privacy to port profile information from one site to another in order to set up accounts and profiles. In fact, I'd like to think it's not even legal, but still checking on that.

Been a Bear411 member for a couple years and understood that access was only available on even days of the month. Then suddenly my profile wasn't accessible for a week at a time. This happened about once a month but now my profile is inaccessible for almost a month at a time. It gets unlocked for maybe 2 days and then it's locked up again.

This is total crap because I joined Bear411 under the conditions that odd/even days were the restriction for free access. The site owner changed those terms without informing anyone. He also removed the ability to delete one's profile and he has made it impossible to reach him via email or messaging of any kind. Now the only information on his site is a menu for a paid membership.

Now I don't have a problem with someone running a paid dating site but Bear411 changing the rules for free membership once they have your pics and profile is highly dubious and downright dirty. My advice to anyone considering joining Bear411 under the guise of a "free" membership is don't!

I used to love this site, was a paying member for years, etc.

Besides all of the censorship, games, etc here is the basic problem with his "business Model"

If I'm a paying member and see a non-paying members profile and send him a message the non-paying member cant respond to me. Now I'm paying for a service but I'm not getting the service I'm paying for.

Its gone from annoying to downright fraud.

Please go find another site to support, R. I. P. Bear411

Similar issues as other reviewers. The site is coded from the 1990's, and the total number of members is actually quite inflated, the actual active member count is quite low.

The site just went thru another week of 'only VIP members (paid) can log in', and oddly enough my paid subscription had just run out days before... I think it's set up so it locks you out so you'll pay up again... sorry dude don't think so.

Do a google search on "bear411 sucks" or "bear411 problems" and you'll see there's quite a few problems with the site and the webmaster.

I attempted to re-join this site. I had a membership under a prior username and deleted it some years ago. I then received an e-mail enjoining me to go to GayDaddy.com (which is Bear411's way of saying you've been rejected for Bear411.)
If you Google "Bear411 issues" there are quite a number of blogs and forums regarding the issues people have had with the owner of this site, with apparently arbitrary discriminatory policies regarding who gets to join or not join, and people having their profiles deleted without warning.
The owner according to the complaints is notorious for censoring e-mails, messages and chat sessions if there are any URL's posted regarding any other websites, particularly Bear-related sites.
