Had my profile on for many years as a free account. I rarely expect much as I don't financially support the site. That being said it's all the free members uploading pics for them to use "for free" that make the site interesting in the first place.
I don't mind having access and features limited but now the site is so locked out to free members there is not much reason to visit.
It used to be a good site but it is dying a slow death.
There are other gay sites that let free members interact to some degree to keep the traffic up and fun for all, paid or free.

The guy who runs this dump has worked the hardest on building a reputation for himself as a larcenous fraud with all the charm and social grace of The Bad Seed.

Only older, fatter, and uglier. And allegedly Male.

His website is failing miserably. He has no subscribers. He has only hostages.

Refusing to allow any one who has ever logged on to delete their profile.

While he systematically removes every single reason why anyone would WANT to stay.

Legend has it... he'll only allow you to leave if you say something unkind about him personally on your profile, and post a plug for another Bear Site.

Have fun. And be cruel.

He's totally earned it.

Just be sure to delete any sensitive photos beforehand.

And maybe wait a week before finally slamming the brat.

Because he'd likely go and post 'em on a porn site somewhere.

And even more likely for cash.

If I could I would give Bear411 0 stars. I have been a non paid member since October and for the last three weeks I have been unable to view anything on the site because I am not a paid member.

When I was able to log in I could it was very hit or miss and now, for the last three weeks I cannot log in at all without being brought to the "Pay Me Now Or Else" page

Greg is very cynical and has mental issues. It seems likes he has a vendetta against the very community his website serves.

Avoid Bear411 at all costs

The web master seems to have some mental problems. He will not answer question about why certain pictures will not be allowed; like me wearing a pair of western Boots and my Rolex watch. I have been on the top 10 list for over a year, since pushing my question, I have been removed from the list. As I told him he is not hurting me, because my money spends just as good on other sights.
No telling what "Buddy Bear" Greg is doing with all the private info. He is collecting on every member?

BEWARE of illegal and unethical billing practices. Three months ago I became a paid member. The membership charge is recurring and is processed by two external billing processing companies, which are: Verotel Merchant Services, located in Europe, and CCBill from the U.S. Although I live in the United States, my membership was processed by the billing processing company located in Europe. A month ago I cancelled my recurring membership by following Verotel's established procedure, but this month my bank account was debited anyway. I e-mailed Verotel and the first response I got was that they were unable to locate the disputed transaction. After my insistent e-mails showing proof of cancellation, Verotel finally replied that I should contact Bear411 because their work is to serve only as a billing processor. I contacted Bear411's webmaster without any response. Instead, Bear411 blocked my access because of my complaint.

I understand allowing the site for paying members on peak times, but you could still check your messages, until recently you can't even check your messages now, it says you need to pay, and it's all day long even on week days it's been 7 days now and haven't been able to check my messages, 9 days they auto delete, this is bull$#*!... I was a paying member for a while, and to have this happen when I'm not paying is crap, I tried to pay before and his $#*!ed payment company ccbill and verotal won't accept my payment... This buddybear guy is an idiot, I also don't understand why my other friend can view his messages, and not blocked from getting on the site, on the times I cant, I had him check tonight, if it is selective picking on who he thinks attractive or not this guys can go to hell, i'm 10 times hotter than him, and bears like that need to accidentally fall off a cliff and survive it after breaking every bone in their body, I really hate this guy, avoid this site, and please somebody make one to put this guy out of business, he should be arrested or sued! If your gonna allow some free members to have access, then all should, it should be all or nothing, not selective, this could be a good case for a lawsuit I would think.
