Follow up; I've ordered black forest clocks from two other well known vendors and the shipping was very long and very worrisome. That's why I said in my original comment that I hoped the clock arrived before Christmas. I normally give at least a month for shipping but it seems that even that's not long enough for most folks. I got my clock from Bavarian super quick and without the damage I've come to expect. The other two clocks I ordered from the other guys were damaged (but repairable) because the pendulum weights had come loose from their packaging during transport and beat the clock up pretty good. This clock came undamaged, delivered in under two weeks and even had follow-up emails making sure I was happy. Obviously, Bavarian gets my next order. I just wish I found them before using the other two very reputable black forest clock vendors.
