I am 54 years old and always wanted a cuckoo clock to hang next to my grandfathers cuckoo clock. So I decided to look for a company that had beautiful cuckoo clocks. I found a company called Bavarianclockworks. I found the perfect cuckoo clock it was a lot of money, $1300. 00 on sale $2000. 00 regularly. I was surprised by my girlfriend. She bought it for me for my birthday. I was so excited to get it. It arrived and the top of the cuckoo clock gun straps were broke on it and deer head was off center. I'm a trim carpenter. It must of happened in shipping. So hung clock as instructed and the cuckoo clock Bird would come out but wouldn't go back in, so the clock would not work. Called the company talked to Charlie. He contacted the owner Bob and they wanted me to take the back off the cuckoo clock and try to fix it. I thought since my girl friend paid $1300. 00 for a cuckoo clock it was not my responsibility to fix the clock. So I sent the clock back. They sent me a new clock and again in shipping the rabbit feet were broke. So another broken clock. Disappointed again. Called Bob he said he would send me another clock. I get the third clock. My girlfriend andI thought we might want to video tape it since we've had so many problems with the shipping and so many things broken on the clock. So we video taped it, opened the box, Disappointed again! The rabbit was broke worst then the last two. Obviously the company needs to find a new way to ship their clocks. Sent the video to Bob. He told me to send the clock back. So I did. I get an email after he watched the video Bob says that I broke the clock. Why would I break a clock that I've always wanted and my girlfriend paid that kind of money for. I own a small business and if I blamed my customers for something that is not their fault I would not be in business. So I'm left with a clock that cost my girlfriend $1300. 00 with broken rabbit feet. I will never buy another clock from this company because truly they do Not stand behind their product. Would not recommend anyone to buy a Cuckoo Clock from this company.

Sorry I didn't back to you sooner, was out of town. I received my cuckoo clock and it was packaged so carefully, and was easy to put together. When looking for a new clock I watched the video on making these clocks and all the care that goes into making them. This is what sold me on buying from your company.
This is not my first cuckoo clock so I knew how to set it up and adjust the leaf on the pendulum. It is keeping perfect time. Love this clock and would recommend your company to my friends. Thanks so much.

The cuckoo clock fulfilled a lifelong dream. I am 60, and it is about time! Excellent clock, excellent assistance on the phone with very patient, and very expert, Charlie! Was so excited to wait for it, now excited to have it! My wife and I love it. She says it makes her smile. That says it all.
