BANK OF AMERICA IN THE PACIFIC PALISADES ON SUNSET IN LOS ANGELES HAS THE WORST TWO EMPLOYEES WHO DON'T KNOW THE VALUE OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. B OF A IS NOW OPEN FROM 9 TO 4 FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT IS OBVIOUS ASSISTANT MANAGER MAXIME LEDUCONTI AND A BLOND SHORT HAIR OLDER WOMEN DON'T LIKE TO WORK. THEY BALANCED THE TELLER LINES BEFORE THE OFFICE LOCKED THE DOOR AND CLOSED. WE WERE IN LINE AND THE OLDER WOMAN AHEAD OF ME WAS IRATE WHEN THEY TOLD HER THEY WERE BALANCED AND COULD NOT PROCESS ANY TRANSACTIONS. IT WAS BEFORE 4 AND THE SO CALLED ASSISTANT MAXIME TOLD HER THAT HE HAD NOT LOCKED THE DOOR BUT DID NOT WANT TO PROCESS HER TRANSACTION. ANOTHER OLD MAN WAS THERE AND WAS TRYING TO DEPOSIT 2 COIN BAGS INTO BUSINESS ACCOUNT. HE WOULD NOT DO IT AND TOLD MAN TO TAKE TWO BAGS OUT OF OFFICE. HE TOLD THEM HE WAS DISABLED AND HAD HELP BRINGING THEM TO DOOR OF OFFICE AND COULD NOT CARRY THEM TO CAR. HE REFUSED TO HELP AND BECAME VERY NASTY AND SHOWED HIS TEMPER. THE OLDER BLOND WOMAN SAID SHE WOULD TAKE THEM TO HIS CAR BUT WHEN SHE GOT OUTSIDE THE OFFICE SHE DUMPED BAGS AND SIDEWALK AND TOLD CUSTOMER OFF AND LEFT. THIS IS ON PAR WITH THE SERVICE I SEE EVERYTIME I GO INTO OFFICE BUT THIS WAS THE WORST. THESE TWO EMPLOYEES ARE THE MAJOR PROBLEM. THE OTHER EMPLOYEES DON'T SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID OF BEING FIRED. THIS WAS THE FIRST SATURDAY OPEN AND IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THESE TWO DID NOT LIKE WORKING A FULL DAY ON SAT. BANK OF AMERICA IS NOT THE COMPANY IT USED TO BE. MOST OF MY FRIENDS HAVE CLOSED THEIR ACCOUNTS. I DON'T THINK B OF A CARES ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYMORE. SAD BUT TRUE.

Check on hold

I recently junked a vehicle and recieved a check for the value, the check was drawn at Bank of America, my account is in Bank of America. However bank of America says they have to hold the check for ten days before they deposit it to my account. I understand if it were from another bank. However, my account is Bank of America and the check was from the same bank, therefore I do not believe there is a good reason to have to wait. I called the office that wrote the check and they told the money's were available. When I called customer service at B of A I was told it was on hold because of the amount. I then told the representative that I would have been better off going to a check cashing place, at which she agreed. I have been a loyal customer since 2017. However, my bucks for B of A stop here. My name is "Not A happy Customer."

If you're considering opening a business account with Bank of America, find a better business customer service Bank. The Calumet City, IL branch proudly let me know they didn't offer a business line; basically get in line.

HELOC Application
July 8, 2022

I have been with BOA for years, and decided to apply for a HELOC. On May 5,2022, I started the process and it is now July 8,2022 and still no credit decision. I have submitted every document requested and they are still asking for more information for a $55,000 HELOC. People are buying houses and closing faster on a loan than it is taking for a credit decision. Like come on BOA? I have the equity in the house.
I think will just pull my application and with another bank. Redlining practices with BOA still exists.

Talk about a don't care attitude, the Vineland NJ branch is just plain awful. Tried for 4 months to resolve a issue with my deceased parents account that I was POA for, the manager couldn't care less, made me feel that I was bothering her, all be cause I didn't have a personal B of A account. Basically ignored me never return phone calls of e mails. Finally I had to get the corporate office involved. Just a very awful experience

Credit card fees

It's wars bank they keep sending me credit card when I sign they told me one year free from fees, then I start charging me without even notice, even I asked them they really don't care u told them to freeze it, so now no choice except to pay difference and close definitely my account and found real honest bank

Why do you not automatically credit an account that was mistakenly double charged for a credit card bill? Why do I have to manually request a refund myself, and wait god knows how long for "processing" in between each stage?

On top of that, why is there no way for users to review if something like this has happened in the past? Was speaking to an agent and all they said was "we have no record of past duplicate charges" and they just LEFT without waiting for an opportunity to inquire further. Seriously?

I want to started by saying don't apply for any loan with them. I applied 5 weeks ago I spent time getting all the information they need and finally today I got a 2 min call saying unfortunately we are not going to be able to process your loan due to you income. I asked them if I can use my son income and the answer was apply again and literally wait another 5 weeks I got 20 other offers and I refused waiting on them. They don't care about you they have plenty of customer and you are one more.
The person. Who called me is very rude and very unprofessional. I will end the review by saying I have been banking with Bank of America for the last 20 years

Auto Loan Payoff
July 5, 2022

I paid my loan off in NY and 8 days have passed without receipt of lien release letter. Called BofA multiple times and reps all lied to me. NYS law is upon payoff the lender has 3 days to issue the release letter to obtain clear title. Still no release letter received and no clear title. Almost 2 weeks! Do not use this bank!

I have been a customer of Bank of America for 38 years. My 3 credit cards are all from b of a. I attempted to use my b of a credit card for a purchase at a local merchant. My card was denied. I immediately called b of a for a reason. I was told my 3 b of a cards had been blocked. They could not give me a reason. I was told to call a b of a Dept on the east coast but this Dept is closed until Tuesday of next week because of the 4th of July weekend. So 3 days without a credit card. I will be canceling these b of a cards. I hope Chase Bank treats their customers with more respect.

They will rob you blind all while speaking to you in a kind and peaceful voice and when they're done with you they will transfer you to a car dealer to lose you while they sit back and give each other high fives for their achievements. You can make as many credit card payments as you want even after closing your account and while making sure you're not late by making the payments by phone and 4 days before the due date and they still posted the payment 12 days after and charged me $95.00 late fees but when you call back so they can explain the misunderstanding it's never that person's department so they transferred you until the call either mysteriously gets dropped or I get a dealership when I don't even have a driving license, the privilege to drive or the money for a car especially after they have been reaping me off for years. Today I closed all three accounts with Bank of America after 30 years of trying to work with their lies and excuses with cheap apologies. This is the worst bank I've ever dealt with associates and all

Horrible Service

Bank of America made a mistake when I opened a savings account and linked by Bill Pay feature to the savings account. This caused issues as money was not being taken out of my checking account and then i received a notice my Savings account was being cancelled due to too much money coming out. The Customer service is horrible and takes weeks to meet with someone in person. I recommend going to a different bank, that is what i am doing currently.

Small estate

I'm a widow my husband past away of last year of April and have an account through this bank, savings snd checking and had a problem of he only have his name on it but I spoke to the manager at bank of American and told me to file a small estate affidavit and sent them the dearth certificate of my husband I filed everything what they ask me for and it's been more than a they are not contacting me unless I call them, every time I talk to them it's always different excuses of I can't get my husband savings and checking money. I have 5.kids and 11 years old youngest. They are not helpful at all, this bank is a joke my husband work so hard to save all that money and now they kept giving me different excuses each time I talk to them they ask for documentation one by one not giving all what I needed now is more than a year they are still looking for more excuses.?

Going on 15 days with no follow up after filing a claim for credit card fraud. After 12 days, I discovered that my initial fraud report did not result in an actual claim being opened. After 9 phone calls I finally got a claim filed. 7 phone calls were within 2 hours as I got transfered from one office to another. At one point I was transfered to a pipe fitting company that had no relationship with BOA. This is dreadful customer service and I'm considering switching to Capital One.

Worst Bank Ever

I gave up on Bank of America 30 years ago and avoided them for that long. Finally decided to get an AA credit card perhaps not thinking that BoA was behind it. Well, it only took them 2 months to prove that I should never have dealt with them again. Customer "service" is a joke. They just send you from department to department with each one taking a long time on hold and then spend another serveral minutes trying to verify you again. Then it only takes them a couple minutes to tell you that they can't help you and they will transfer you to someone who deals with that (repeat the process). There are far too many choices in banks to deal with BofA.

HORRIBLE

Bank of America is the WORST bank in America! They held my check back for 2 weeks for absolutely no reason. The customer service is the WORST. They never find a solution. Somehow money is always being stolen from me. I've disputed soooo many different charges and it never gets fixed. Never going to Bank of America ever again. I don't understand how they're so big yet so terrible!

I am so sick and tired of all the BS of BoA. The hours change to open at 10 now. 10 to 4. How about for people that work? No drive through, no night drop. I have to show an ID every single time to deposit just $50 in a business account. I don't own the business I only work there. I forgot my ID today. Nope can not make a business deposit. Out of 5 banks that I make cash deposits, BoA is the only one who makes me show my ID. For a business account, not a personal account. Not even my account but I still have to show ID. I will be so happy when my bosses change their business accounts to any other bank except BoA. 13 people standing in line with one teller. Trying to take 90 year old ladies out to teach them the atm. Seriously you think it's safe for little old ladies to be out using the atm? Well BoA does. BoA. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Over the past few years they have got less and less customer service. They SUCK! Thank you

Bank of America only cares about their institution. It does not listen to its consumers. The bank will not accept proof of fraud. I wrote the bank letters to discuss my concerns and needs. They never responded to me. Be smart, use another bank.
