This bank is horrible. I have to make bank deposits for work and there were 17 people in front of me last week. There were only two tellers opened although there were plenty of other workers in the bank your lucky if they have 2 tellers. After I waited n line for an hour and five minutes to get waited on I was told they have no change. To anyone who is even thinks ng about opening an account there; Do Not!, You will regret it.

Horrible bank

Go somewhere else. You will wait forever on hold and rarely are you assisted promptly. I highly recommend going elsewhere.

They don't pay any attention to documents you send them. They only protect the retailers and have no interest in fairly representing the consumer. There are lots of better banks than these guys, go to one of them.

You'd NEVER be able to contact anyone for help with their fraudulent payment processing or anything else. Their staff are impertinent, puffed-up, snots. They do not care about customers or customer service because they're too big and don't need you or your business.

After 30 years of being with Bank of America I had to deposite a paper check from my company for te first time after having direct depoesites from the same company on the same day for over a year (company went with differetn bank), Bank of America decided in this economy that they needed to hold my "paper check" deposite for 8-1o days to "verify." How are people supposee to live whrn you cant even trust your own bank of 30 plus years to not hold YOUR MONEY in their own bank prison at their discression. After speaking with three supervisors all they could say was "i'm sorry mam this is the bank's policy." I will not be banking with any company that is goint to hold my paycheck for 8-10 days to Verify. DO BETTER BANK OF AMERICA!

On May 6th, I received an email that appeared to come from BofA with the subject line "Security Alert: Your Online Banking Password Was Reset". However, I was able to go online and get into my account, which suggested that this was a fraudulent email. Still I called BofA and spoke to someone about it. They suggested I forward the email to *******@bofa.com. That was the last I heard of this until two days later after $27,200 had been stolen from my account. First, someone transferred $7200 from my credit card cash advance line to my checking account. Then, someone went to the branch in Temple TX (my account address is in MA) and was able to take $9400 and $8400 from a teller in two transactions that day. The following day, they went to a branch in Webb Chapel TX and took another $9400. What I later learned was that someone had created a second username and password and linked it to my account, WHICH IS NOT THE SAME AS SOMEONE RESETTING MY PASSWORD! Nothing has happened with the fraud claim other than for the credit card division to deny the $7200 claim since the transfer had gone into my checking account. Therefore, that $7200 is back on my card and is accruing interest! When I tried to speak to a fraud inspector about this, I was told I could not, after which Xavier from TX hung up on me. Has anyone else experience this Password reset email when it was actually a new username and password added to the account?

My family had a trust fund at Bank of America. My father had his leg amputated and he received a loan from our trust fund for $100,000, to get an artificial leg. My father ended up passing away. My father had taken out a life insurance policy to Bank of America, in the amount of $100,000, so in his death the loan would be paid. Instead, Bank of America said my father just left them $100,000 and I had to pay the loan out of the trust. So, I was left with nothing from the trust. Bank of America just gave me a promissory note saying my deceased father owed me $100,000. My cousin was in the trust as well and received his $100,000. I argued so much with them, but they said my father just left them $100,000 for them to just keep for themselves. I didn't even receive a thank you pen! They completely robbed me of $100,000 and had been robbing our family trust for years before this. CROOKS!

Rude
June 9, 2022

Waited 8 1/2 minutes to the most obnoxious recording asking me the same questions over and over. But no answer I gave her seemed to satisfy. Near impossible to get to a real person. And when you do, you may be sorry. She was the rudest associate I have ever dealt with. I could not understand what she was saying and so she would yell and say "what I just told you." Very, very unfriendly, downright hateful. Will probably cancel this card because there is no customer service.

Took my 91-year-old mother to TRY to cash 3 little $50 checks she had been holding onto. Bank was closed; only ATM access. Went to 2 more locations and they weren't allowing ppl in, no transactions and really short hours. This is NO WAY to run a business!

Absolutely appalling, tossed from agent to agent only to not be assisted. Claimed they would check into my situation only for nothing to happen. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

I've banked with Bank of America long enough and often enough to be able to say that this is not a trustworthy bank. Those late fees are not accident, they're by design! Read the reviews on the internet. It's not for nothing that there is a class action law suit from small businesses and individuals alike against this disreputable bank. Systemic fraud in a major criminal scale. I opened a small business account with them and got the credit card account. 8 months later, my autopsy STILL doesn't work no matter how many times I set it up according to their instructions. Nice try, Bank of America. Maybe you'll soon be the Bank of China? Wouldn't surprise me a bit. Not going to bank with these clowns anymore either way.

BOA fails on every transaction they are involved in. On one issue I called 4 times and got 4 different answers, I went into the bank and was given another opinion that I acted upon and it was incorrect. You cannot get hold of a person at the bank where you do business. They have no one answering the phone, just if it rings and someone is not busy - and they always are. When you walk in, sometimes someone comes and asks to help you, sometimes no one come you just wander around until you make eye contact with someone and see if they can help you. Usually they can't because you need an appointment to sit down with someone. Even when you do sit down with someone, they can walk you through a bit of the paperwork, but they have no authorization to make decisions about your account - and there is no one in the location who has the authority. You have to submit a request and wait until they get around to the next round of discussions.
The situation in my case was awful and although I have some money in that bank because I was overseeing my (now deceased) mother's account, as soon as the paperwork is settled from her death I will dissolve my relationship with this bank

I applied 3 weeks ago to Bank of America mortgage after I had a contract on a house. I opened a bank account with the bank and wired my equity of selling my home. The loan officer, Michael Hollingsworth, who introduced himself as a professional with 20 years experience was a nightmare who took his sweet time to process my loan. Very unprofessional unprepared and lack of integrity. I could not get a hold of him for days and never answer his phone but always go to voicemail. After 3 weeks while we have only 2 weeks to close on the house calls me and discussing my credit report which was all wrong. Simply he could send my credit report from day one. Don't use Bank of America for any mortgage loans and, car loans or home equity loans. They have unprofessional representatives who pretend to know but they will complicate your life. Stay away from those large banks and for sure don't do business with Michael Hollingsworth.

I APPLIED BANK OF AMERICA VISA CREDIT CARD WITH $95 ANNUAL FEE AND THERE WAS 0% APR BALANCE TRANSFER PROMOTION FOR 18 MONTHS. AFTER RECEIVING THE CARD THEY CHARGED $95 FEE BUT DENIED THE BALANCE TRANSFER PROMOTION. AFTER SEVERAL CALLS AND TALKS WITH SUPERVISORS THEY ALLOWED THE PROMOTION. I AVAILED THE OFFER BY PAYING 3% FEE AND NOW THEY CLOSED THE ACCOUNT SAYING THAT MY CREDIT LIMIT OF THE ACCOUNT IS FULLY UTILISED. THEY ARE GIVING WRONG REASONS THAT MY PAYMENTS WERE RETURNED. I TALKED WITH SUPERVISOR REGARDING THE CLOSURE OF THE ACCOUNT SHE GAVE ME ALL IN VALID REASON AND SHE LAUGHED ON MY CONCERNS. SEVERAL TIMES MY ACCOUNT WAS NEGATIVE AND ONE TIME THEY USED MY NEGATIVE BALANCE OF $429.19 FOR WHOLE MONTH AND ISSUED A CHECK AFTER BEGGING OVER THE PHONE SEVERAL TIME. NOW I WILL HAVE TO BEG MY PRORATED ANNUAL FEE THEY HAVE CHARGED IN ADVANCE.ME AND MY FAMILY HAVE DECIDED TO PUT ANY BANK OF AMERICA PRODUCT ON BLACK LIST. THEY BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE NUMBER ONE BUT THEY DON'T KNOW ALL CUSTOMERS HAVE MADE THEM BIG. IT'S REALLY WORST COMPANY. EVEN IT TAKES EVER TO REACH AN AGENT OVER THE PHONE.
