The only number I got, turned out to be a prostitute, probably controlled by her pimp. Nice looking woman, but she admitted this on WhatsApp. The site is a scam.
I realized on 4/4/18 that I was debited 159 for annual fee for Badoo Premium service which I did not authorize nor did I press a button to confirm this purchase. I immediately after a hr of having this service looked for a contact number to codrially fight this charge. To not get hit with the You use the service you paid for line. I deleted the site 4/4/18. So I am expecting to get all of my money. But the lack of human contact via phone, and email is going make this difficult process. I am very angry and really thinking about an international class action lawsuit. I even called Dublin. I never let anyone take money from me in life. It aint going to star now.
This site is just a scam to part you with your hard earned cash. You need to pay for everything even when your Premium. 100 credits for this 100 credits for that. I am surprised they don't charge 100 credits just to Log in. Plus when you message someone they rarely message back SO whats the point. BADOO = BADNEWS
Been on and off Badoo for 2 yrs, even b4 the pic verification started it was a scammy site but now its even worse, the same old faces 'like' you even if their accounts haven't been active for 2 weeks-30 days lol, automated msgs and moneygrabbing crap do not go near this site try Match.com or Uniformdating.com coz badoo sucks donkey balls lmao Lee M.
I've been their paying member for years and never gained anything from it, literally, except two long-distance (from the other side of the world kind of) facebook friends. I can't believe how angry the site makes me every time I visit it.
The badoo features I absolutely despise are:
- The pathetic limitations they impose on you,
- Basically, they are pleading for financial gain at every turn,
- Dirty tricks such as fake profiles, spamming your friends via e-mail after your free trial, fake notifications you get when you are about to stop paying them or just to lure you back in after a period of you not paying them.
- Pathetic pleadings to rate their site almost every time
- Profile photo ratings are great to take away your self-esteem!
- Most users there are just awful to communicate with!
- The pretty ones usually ignore you,
- The kind-of-pretty ones never or rarely message you back,
- The ones you don't want to communicate with can sometimes annoy you hard,
- If you don't meet people's criteria, then you cant message them unless you are a premium member, that is also so much bull$#*!.
Its a colossal waste of:
- money
- time
- energy
- soul
A few days ago I had a nice chat with someone who just stopped writing back, because they don't have the balls to tell you, I'm seeing someone else, or I don't feel a spark between us or nothing they just have a nice chat with you, being formally cordial and even cool, but ultimately abandoning you without a word, and you still hope to meet them, This happens so quite often. It's called ghosting and seems like it's a trend in online dating now:/
I think it should've been shut down a long time ago because it's only getting worse and worse. Online dating, in general, today can be summarized in one word and this word is scam. On a side note there are also many of cheating married people.
It kills the love, it kills the humanity in one's heart, it's just wrong and awful!
And nobody cares. Badoo is becoming more and more artificial and greedy by the day and its literally giving you less and less chance to meet anyone and discover genuine chemistry based on and an intellectual level. In my opinion Its a total disaster.
Do not trust these people. I agreed to try it for a month for $8.95. I was billed an additional $49.95 which I learned later was for these ridiculous credits that I supposedly needed to send messages or cherries to girls. I'm not even kidding. Why would a full member need credits to do simple things like send messages? I immediately cancelled at Pay Pal and received an email from Pay Pal stating I had cancelled my 'agreement' with Badoo yet was still billed the $49.95. Liars & frauds much like the women there. A skanky dating site at best. BEWARE. DO NOT GIVE YOUR financial info to these people. They will SCREW you! And you really wouldn't want it from the women there anyway.
Hi everybody,
As many others, I've been also scammed this week by Badoo. I wanted to suscribe to a Badoo premium membership for a week, but they charged me for the unlimited version.
Of course I wrote them politely a message to let them now and asking for refund. They just refused, which is completelety ILLEGAL (see below a link concerning the right of cancellation for any customer - you can cancel until 2 Weeks)
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/regulation/29/made
Problem with Badoo: there is no customer service existing! It means NO phone number, NO email adress, NO names. They want the people to give up, but they don't know me really well...
I think this kind of company has no place on Business market, they have dishonest business practices, and they have absolutely NO intention to improve it. What I recommend you it's just to conduct a legal action, and spread the word as much as you can all over social media (FB, forum, comparators, blogs,.) in every country, in order to let everybody know, how Badoo.com works.
Hope these info could help you.
Badoo Scam site creating havoc on U. K. Society. Useless site completely AVOID. Huge number of pimps selling their prostitutes to the wider public on badoo. AVOID THIS SITE AVOID THIS SITE AVOID THIS SITE BADOO.

Hi Luis!
Thank you for your message.
We're very sorry to hear about your experience with us. Auto top-up refers to the automatic refill feature for credits; when you fall below 200 credits, you can select to automatically top up your balance. However, this is not related to your Badoo Premium subscription. Badoo Premium is a separate service and requires cancellation of the recurring subscription; instructions on how to do this were provided when you made the purchase.
Please send us a private message with the email address or phone number linked to your profile and we'll look into this for you.
Horrible admins and terrible service, premonitory admin presumptions. No loss here, as all of the girls are prostitutes. $#*! badoo and skip the girls... lol
Hi Chris!
We’re sorry to hear of your experience. The majority of profiles on Badoo are genuine. However, there are people who try use our product for malicious purposes.
If you come across a suspicious profile, please report it and we'll check it immediately. We have a team of moderators working 24/7 checking all the reports we receive.
We hope this helps, but please do not hesitate to send us a private message if there's anything else we can do for you.
This is even more scamming.
You clearly dont listen and you dont answer.
You have the nerve to write me here and state you want to correct this error.
When i write you, the same response as before.
No answer, no resolve, no refund equals SCAMSITE!
Please refund the money you wrongfully stole and no
I wont stop until you follow the law and good business practices. You can give me the refund and I will cease exposing you. Else face the consequence of your malpractice Mr. Manel.
Hello J.!
I'm personally very sorry to read this. I have just got back to your private message requesting the necessary data to look into this. Please send it over as a response to the private message so that I can look into this for you.
I understand that this is a very frustrating experience and want to personally apologise for this.
I look forward to your reply to our private message.
This is a clever but sadly deliberate scam. If they had been cool about I wouldnt have noticed it. But a glitch in the web made them charge my card.
Now its my fault and i ordered the charge?!? No frikking way.
Customer support offers no help and doesnt answer clear written questions.
I gonna report this as it is illegal practices even though they made terms to try to hide their scam.
Stay far away and know half the globe has photos in there because of their scamming methods.
Very few of the girls profiles are real, or active.
** Badoo purchased HotOrNot, and simply post the pictures from the highest rated to get people to sign up.**
https://techcrunch.com/2012/04/02/has-dating-site-badoo-found-a-love-match-in-the-form-of-hotornot/
You will find transsexuals, and fakes, but no women who want to meet.
Most profiles are simply bots, or the system artificially adds 'visits', 'likes' and 'wants to chat', while asking you for your credit card details.
Hi there!
The majority of our profiles are genuine: we have a team of Moderation working 24/7 to ensure that all malicious profiles are weeded out. However, if you happened to find a suspicious profile, you can report them using our in-app feature and we'll check it immediately. Also, we do not discriminate our users based on their gender identity.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch via Facebook (www.facebook.com/BadooHelp) or Twitter (www.twitter.com/BadooHelp) if there's anything else we can clarify for you.
Beware of Badoo's deceptive charging policies. After opening an account, I received a notice that stated for only .79 cents, I would have the ability to better communicate with others on the site. What I was not aware of is that I was then automatically signed me up for a Premium Account with ongoing charges. Without my knowledge (because I was not using the site while I was traveling out of the Country), I was being charged $3.99 on a weekly basis. Once I saw those charges, I figured out how to unsubscribe and requested a refund. Badoo flatly refused saying that I had signed a Terms of Service, which is untrue. I then closed the account, which they acknowledged, I continued to demand a refund, which they again refused. Subsequently, I was charged again! After complaining about that, which should not have been disputed, they again refused the refund, stating that I had reactivated the account! So over a three week period I was charged approximately $30. Maybe not a lot of money of me, but imagine what they are earning through these deceptive policies with so many members. By the way, good luck trying to cancel the account. Even that is made difficult.
Hi Ed!
The method to cancel your subscription will depend on the method you used to purchase it (for example, if you bought it through iTunes, like with any app, you'll need to access your iTunes Subscriptions menu to manage them). However, in most cases, subscriptions can be cancelled from our Payment Settings menu, which you can find in your Settings menu in the app.
Our Terms and Conditions are stated upon purchase. However, we want to do the right thing and can review the case for you. You can contact us via Facebook (www.facebook.com/BadooHelp) or Twitter (www.twitter.com/BadooHelp).
We look forward to hearing from you!
Badoo has deducted $169.99 from my credit card, and refuse to refund it even though I immediately informed them of their error. Instead they claimed that I had intended to purchase a premium subscription, and that they are unable to give refunds. They are clearly acting in bad faith, and their business model is apparently to obtain money by any means possible, and then to avoid chargebacks.
My bank is currently processing the chargeback, and I had to cancel my card to prevent them making any further transactions.
Hey Brian!
I'm very sorry to hear about this.
Since you've requested a chargeback, the refund process will now be handled by your bank, whom you should contact to check the status of your refund. However, we want to do the right thing! Please contact us once you know the outcome of the dispute and we'll examine your case!
Regarding your payment details, they can be removed at any time from the Payment Settings section in your Settings menu.
Please get in touch with us as soon as you receive the outcome of the dispute and we'll act accordingly.
I wanted to upgrade to Premium, but just temporarily, as I'm on a budget, so I chose the $0.79 option. They then automatically deducted $40 from my account without my permission! This is theft!
Hey Christopher!
This doesn't sound right. Could you get in touch with us via private message including the email address or phone number linked to your account? We'd never take money from our users without their permission.
Please message us and we'll look into this for you!
This site has not been updated or issues fixed in years. First, it never send the verification link to your email when you first sign up, so you have to use your phone number or facebook to sign up; it does not keep your profile picture up; it keeps asking you to upload a picture of you when you've uploaded several; it keeps saying the picture of you has multiple people in it, which it doesnt so that causes issues with people being able to view your page and you being able to view theirs and send them a message. The site is crappy and needs to be destroyed because clearly the administration isnt even paying attention to any requests for help.
Hi Eazy!
We're very sorry about this message.
We want to make Badoo even better and have a whole team dedicated to listening to our users' suggestions! We update our site regularly according to the feedback we get from our users and are here to help you with any issues you may have had with the site. We want to do the right thing and would love to troubleshoot this with you! Please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via Facebook (www.facebook.com/BadooHelp), Twitter (www.twitter.com/BadooHelp) or email, at www.badoo.com/feedback
We look forward to hearing from you!
Badoo begs you for money far too much and offers you a poor initial experience if you're an average male. Harassing me for cash, when you've given me a terrible experience up front by giving me zero replies or interaction, is a joke. I am a decent, tall, good looking guy, but on Badoo I get no messages, no replies, no likes, and no favourites. And yet Badoo expects me to gamble on spending what is a small fortune on the 'chance' of finding a lady I like. I've literally got better luck with putting my money down a drain, as a passing lady may ask me what/why I'm doing that!
1) You have to pay to message someone if you've made the mistake of 'liking' them first. Unless they 'like' you back.
2) You have to pay to see your favourites, and to clear the notification.
3) You have to pay to get a large number of likes per day.
4) You have to pay to get up the rankings.
5) You have to pay for any of the super power features, which aren't super.
6) You have to pay to 'Increase Popularity' and come up earlier on the matches.
7) You have to pay just to get the super power icon, otherwise you look cheap.
8) You have to pay to start new conversations with an absurdly low number of people, meaning it mostly will be men paying for this feature as men tend to get nothing.
9) Even WITH all this begging, if you're using the web version, they show you adverts too!
Finally, if someone from Badoo is reading this: get rid of the "Free" credits joke. "FREE" IS NOT FREE WHEN YOU HAVE TO PAY.
Just to clarify: My favourite was a friend, we agreed we would favourite each other just to test if it really worked. I got zero real favourites from others.
Hey Andrew!
Thanks for your message!
You can use Badoo for free and it is up to you to purchase any of our premium features or not. You can create a profile, upload as many photos and videos as you want, and chat and meet new people.
Regarding the necessity to use credits to chat with some people: you can message most people for free, and contact anyone you match with. If you don’t want to wait until the user likes you back, you can still use credits to initiate a conversation with them. This change provides the best experience for all our users, as many have asked us to help manage the number of messages they get.
Our premium features provide the possibility to gain more attention: you can find more information about the features available with credits on https://badoo.com/credits and the subscription-based Badoo Premium package on https://badoo.com/spp
Regarding your situation with the favourited profile, this doesn't sound right and may be a technical issue. Please do not hesitate to contact us via Facebook (www.facebook.com/BadooHelp), Twitter (www.twitter.com/BadooHelp) or email, at www.badoo.com/feedback, and we'll look into this for you as soon as possible.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Site is generaly make to suck money out of you. The chances to meet someone is close to zero.
System constantly send you messages that other people are intested in you, but that is a cheat. When you pay, then you see that actually you meet the criteria of that person. But, that person didnt even saw your profile.
Bad site. Dont waste time.
Hi Nemanja!
We're very sorry to hear about your experience.
We want to reassure you that we do our best to ensure that all of our profiles are genuine: we have implemented features such as photo verification, selfie request and have a team of moderators working 24/7 to ensure that all our profiles are who they say to be.
Also, if you receive false notifications, it may be due to a technical issue. Please do not hesitate to send us a private message with the email address linked to your account and we'll look into this for you.
I was on Badoo and saw that I could chat with a girl right away if I sent her a gift. "Ok, I'll try it," I thought. So I clicked on get credits and it immediately gave me 500 credits because I had already put in my payment details at a previous date.
I saw no screen nor any option nor any notification for an automatic top up.
I sent three gifts and dropped to 200 credits upon which I was charged immediately for another 500.
WTF?
So I contacted Help immediately and told them of the error, lack of notification and they brushed me off and pointed to their policies.
Total scam tactics. Totally unethical.
Hi Bruno!
I'm very sorry to hear about your experience with us. Since you linked your payment details to your profile when purchasing a service in the past, you were able to make purchases with our one-click method. This is designed to make purchases more convenient to the user. If you would like to prevent this from happening again, please ensure you unlink your payment details from your account.
Also, unfortunately, you were charged automatically because you chose the option 'Top-up my Badoo Credits automatically when the balance falls below 200 credits' when you purchased Badoo Credits. This feature is optional and you can turn it off anytime. We can confirm that your Auto Top-up is now deactivated and you will not be automatically charged again.
Please do not hesitate to send us a private message if there's anything else we can do for you!
Answer: 99% are fake! When you engage with Badoo you expose yourself to fraud and rip off. Their "job" consists of making up fake profiles with stolen photos and reeling in gullible people. If you want dates and relationship, you may want to try http://J4Love.net This site has helped me and a friend of mine to meet many lovely women. My friend got married to one of them. I'm still undecided, but the site works. Don't waste your money on Badoo. What they do is try to get your money without providing any real service. You pay for talking with bots. You are buried in auto-generated messages and there are no real people willing to meet.
Answer: Hey Jahidul, Sorry to hear about this! If you could please send us a message with your registered email address or phone number, we'll be happy to look into this for you! Badoo Team
Answer: Hi Gunal! We work hard to keep a database of high quality real users, and our moderation team works 24/7 to spot any malicious profiles. Most of our users are really who they say they are! However, if you're still suspicious, we urge you to use the reporting feature to notify our moderators about a potential fake profile. Additionally, Badoo is completely free to use. We do have some additional features to increase your popularity, but they are totally optional. We hope this helps, but please do not hesitate to get in touch if otherwise!
