I ordered some stuff from Azure standard, and a month later they were about to deliver and I got an emergency notice from Azure stating that they moved to the date. So I called to see if II ordered some stuff from Azure standard, and a month later they were about to deliver and I got an emergency notice from Azure stating that they moved to the date. So I called to see if I could just roll the funds over to the next month and have the same thing delivered cause I explained that I was having surgery in North Carolina and they were delivering to Tennessee and we wouldn't be there the day that they Rescheduled for that man on the phone said I'm gonna do you a huge favor and not charge you a restocking fee, but that they would have to charge my card and then refund me the money back and yet the delivery is a week out. None of this makes sense to me and if it's not my fault and they're delivering on a different day why should I get charged a restocking fee? This seems really silly since they haven't even charged the card yet anyway this is the last time I'm ordering from Azure standard. I'm really dissatisfied with the way they changed the date on you after a month of waiting.

Grains are FULL of bugs!

We bought nearly 4 grand worth of grains from this company and there were grain beetles in the grains. They have moved to our other food in storage and we have lost thousands of dollars of foods now from this infestation! Stay clear of this company. Quality is TERRIBLE!

Our family spent nearly $4k with this company and all we tried and wanted to do after spending all this money there is use the "Azure Cash" that they "gave" us. They refused to let us use it and wasted hours of our time. We emailed and left multiple phone messages that were ignored. The Azure Cash was not expired or anything. If you read the BS about wether or not the Azure Cash expires you can tell that these people are dishonest. I mean a simple "Yes, it does expire" would suffice. Be careful when dealing with this company. They are a bunch of serpents! Besides that, their pickup system SUCKS! They changed the delivery time 3 times on us and after all of that the driver literally tossed our bags of food with vigor.

Infestation

BE AWARE of infestation. I have been using Azure for about a year. I would never buy grains or legumes from them, they take no ownership or have a desire to help resolve the quality issue. Mar 2024, I bought 2 bags, 25lb sweet brown rice, the used by date is 10/2024 (learned recently as I don't normally look at dates for grains or legumes – I thought dried grains an beans last for ever if stored properly – – If fact, I have dried beans from a few years ago and they are still good). I always store the unopened bag in a clean tight container that requires a screw driver to loosen the lid. On 4/20/25, I did not have enough from my 2021 purchase (bought in Sac co-op), in another container. I opened a container holding my Azure Mar 2024, the bag has a few bugs crawling outside and some on the bottle of the container. I see them coming out of the litte holes (pin size) from inside the bag. Took it out of the pantry, I opened the bag, there were more crawling inside, disgusting! A day later, I opened the 2nd container, black bugs are seen. I contacted Azur and was advised to email. I emailed them pictures and provided details. Because it is more than 7 days, they will not replace it even thought it is unopened. All 3 containers are in the same pantry, only the Mar 2024 pruchased from Azure was infested. I looked up the manufacture, Lundberg, it says to work with the supplier address any product issues. I exchange many emails with Azure customer service and asked them to contact Lundberg, and even requested to talk to a manger. I even emailed the CEO. Now 2 weeks+, no call back from manager or response from the CEO. Customer service pretty much placed the blame on me for the infestation and that a request has been made for a manager to contact me. First of all, the packing is not open. That means the grains a infested inside the bag. Even if this was open within 7 days, the larvae will likely go unnoticed until the bugs are hatched. Secondly, I was blamed for the infestation. I been checking my pantry every other day to make sure I don't have any bugs… so far, is cleared, THANK GOD. I read online, bay leaf deters by, so I put pay leaves on shelves and inside the containers where I store things. I am also grateful, we did not eat any of the 2 bags from Azure. Lastly, Azure said they ship goods out within 45 days when they received the goods. When I asked then why is it the 2 bags for rice only have 6 months life left… no explanation. I know put things on sale and note that the item is about to expire. My rice was not one of them! Since Azure refused to help, I contacted Lundberg. I received an email response withing 24 hours for more information so they can send to the quality team AND they will replace the 2 bag of rice. I am grateful to Lundberg for their customer service satisfaction. I have been buying their product for over 10 years and will continue to give them my business and recommend them to friends and family. Very scarely! Looking for another vendor. Love to hear where you buy bulk.

Ordered glass jars and several arrived broken — total mess and safety hazard. Another time, received the wrong bulk item and had to drive quite a distance to swap with another customer myself. Support was no help and store credit doesn't fix wasted time and money. Also got expired ghee and was told it was too late to report. I expected better. Won't be shopping here again.

I've tried to give this company multiple chances, but the lack of consistency and customer care has made it impossible to continue ordering. Almost every shipment has had an issue—whether it's damaged goods, missing items that were marked as packed, or delivery arrangements with little to no advance notice. There's no flexibility for pickup, which makes planning around their schedule nearly impossible. When I reached out about missing products, I was offered a store credit rather than a refund—despite the fact that I had paid upfront for those items. It's frustrating having to track everything myself and follow up repeatedly just to get a basic resolution. On one occasion, a product I ordered was supposedly out of stock, yet it remained listed as available the entire time. To make matters worse, one of the items that did arrive turned out to be of poor quality, and when I voiced my concern, I was told it was simply a matter of "preference." No accountability, no real support, and no effort to make things right. At this point, I've spent more time correcting their mistakes than enjoying what I actually paid for. I won't be ordering again unless they make serious changes to how they handle fulfillment, communication, and customer service.

I think its a scam. I went to pick up my package, it was a restaurant. They had no Idea what I was talking about. Then I called the number on the web page, I was number 50 in wait, so I pressed 1 and they were supposed to call me back. I called the other number on the webpage and it was a doctors office. I called back the original number 30 minutes later and I was still #51 in que. I haven't received a call back yet. Its totally feeling like a scam

I put items in my cart. In stock the day of processing and poof. Now items are outta stock. No chance to sub out another. Just an unpleasant surprise. Some items have shipped. They promised me it was coming on Tuesday, a day I can pick up. Within 24 hours of my delivery they moved the date and time to Wednesday. Had a promo to get 15% off my first order. The not shipped items will be full price if I order them again. I was told they won't honoring the promo price even though they didn't ship. Customer service is rude and hard to get through. My drop person is sweet but literally no help. Apparently treating the customer like crap is the business model. I'm concerned. Gonna be my first and last order. So thankful I put it on a card because it sounds like they don't make refunds on spoiled items. I'm kicking myself for trusting these folks. What a stupid ordering process. What a sleepy company. And below par customer service.

Amazing Service!

I started using Azure about a year ago and it has been such a wonderful blessing to my family! Yes, sometimes I will order things and they will be out of stock by my cutoff date, which is frustrating, but I have learned how to gauge if it will be out of stock or not. My drop coordinator is also amazing and organized. It has been the best experience ordering from Azure! I will say, I live in Oregon, so my wait time is fairly minimal as their warehouse is only a few hours away.

Another Flour Issue

We purchased 16 bags of Brown Rice flour. See the photo below to see what we received... almost all the bags had black stuff in them (all but 4). Look over correspondence to see what it was and how they handled it. So very sad. We no longer purchase anything from them we actually make our own brown rice flour now.
We spent hours sifting out as much as we could to use the flour, and some we just tossed. I tried to make the email as big as possible, hope you can read it. Again this is a second review for Azure, prices can't be beaten but quality...

Most Unreliable

Very disappointed with the service. I got a notification that my order was being shipped but then again today I got a notification that the Truck failed in the middle of the way. Very disappointed with the unreliable service.

Our first order arrived with some of the grains spilled out into the bottom of the shipping box. (Maybe 1/3 of the grains.)
Also, we ordered a case of Clif Builder Bars that were within a few weeks of their expiration. Since we know the production date of the bars was about a year ago, these bars are stale.
We called to complain and they gave us a discount of 1/3 for the grains and 75% off of the Clif Bars.
The Clif Bars are going into the garbage so that is still a loss for us.
The customer service was pleasant and tried to be helpful, but you have to wonder about a company whose stated policy is to ship any item that is 2 weeks from its expiration date without warning to the customer.
I might point out that the bars were expensive - not a sale price - they charged FULL RETAIL for them. For old, stale product.
You'd be better off getting them from a local store or just about ANYWHERE else online.

Moldy food

They sold me 200$ worth of moldy food and refused to refund or credit me. I had spent thousands with the co. Over many years only to be treated like complete garbage over $200?!
They are a horrible co and will never get another penny from me.

Everyone that I spoke with that is associated with Azure Standard has been extremely nice and helpful and kind. Their products are exactly what they advertise prices are great the quality is even better. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for the best for themselves and their families to utilize their services, they offer exactly what they say. Delivery exactly when they say it's truly a blessing in today's world to receive high quality products at a fair good price! Kudos

I've been with Azure Standard for over 10 years. I love them. They are especially great if you live in an area where you can't get fresh organic produce and good healthy products like I was, but I'm in a big city now and I still rely on them for great products every month. Once in a while I get an organic produce item that has gone bad, just like I do from the grocery store. That's the problem with buying natural organic produce from anywhere. Azure has always been quick to refund my money when I call and explain the problem.

Rodent poop in product

The customer service at Azure Standard is worse than any other online place I've shopped at, and falls short in comparison to even the large box chain stores. I purchased "heirloom organic" grains and they arrived with rodent feces. When I contacted the company they insisted it was vetch nitrogen balls. Even after sending pictures the company stood its ground and refused to offer any resolution other than to read their return policy guidelines and purchase small quantities first before making a large purchase to insure one likes their product first. I would NEVER Recommend this company, which is said to be operated under high moral standards while supplying quality organic products. My experience says uh…no, not regarding my concern anyway.

I ordered something from the website. It doesnt say anything on the website that if your not available at the drop off time that they assign you that they will trash your order and items. That is what i was told today when i messaged someone and asked if my order was still available at Sams for pick up. I thought it would be left there to pick up at a later time. The person who responded to me was so rude. In addition to that, my order was not sent and the only thing they attempted to deliver was a flyer, not sure on how that happened either. Confirmation email stating my order was submitted got notification that it was being dropped off, I messaged the contact number that sent me the message and she said that it was my responsibility to be at the drop off location at the time or the items are disposed of. Then said messaging her days after the drop doesnt work? I said are you serious, she then said it wasnt shipped i can go online and check the status of my order. I made a comment about how she was rude and talking to me like that, she replied Im not rude, sorry if you dont like the truth. Everyone else knows the routine and they show up to the drops when they place orders? This is my first and very last time placing an order with this company but NONE of that was told to me when i placed the order to begin with.

I ordered Azure Market Organics Millet, Hulled, Organic at least three times. First time, received paper bags as shown in the web. https://www.azurestandard.com/shop/product/food/grains/millet/hulled/millet-hulled-organic/9200?package=GR031. Second time, it was cheap plastic for fertilizer, a liter sand particles. Thirst time, plastic bags, A LOT OF SAND, really not for human being food, maybe good for bird. I don't know if this is their conmmen practice.

Bad produce

Called customer service and asked for credit for a box of produce, plastic container of grapes, plastic container of cucumbers and a cantaloupe. They say they don't guarantee produce shipped to Alaska. In the past I was given store credit.

They said to go no to credit and go to the shipper. So I'm out of the produce. Never had problems before to get credit. Been buying from them for around six years. It is azure fault for not individual boxing the fruit and vegetables in different boxes or the produce was going bad.

Headache

I've ordered bulk quantity from this company before with no issues and on my recent orders they canceled all of them without notice. Came out to find they banned my account from purchasing from them for no reason and was told that I must have a wholesale account with them because my orders were too large. So I went to open a wholesale account only to find they aren't accepting new wholesale accounts lol. What a way to do business. Can't say I'd ever want to do business with them again anyway seeing how poorly they treat legitimate customers. AVOID

Many of their product is good and service is alright but my recent experience was 1 star. I got organic barley and there were small pieces of rock in it and I have had to spit out so much of my food because obviously I eat this barley with other food and crunch, I chewed another small rock and it's all over the food and I have to spit the whole thing out. I have ordered barley many many times and i guess depending on where they get it, it differs. Most of the times it's been good but here and there there are bad ones with so much non barley stuff along with small rocks mixed in. I called them and they said I need to call in within 2 weeks or something and only then they can do something about it. Basically that means if I ordered many bags, I have to open up ALL OF THE BAGS and check each bag and try them all within a couple weeks! How ridiculous is that? See what I got in my barley.

A bit too all about making money off of customers

Pros would be - overall good prices, pretty good customer service, good website.
Cons would be - too much about making money off of customers. For ex: one time 3 years ago I ordered a cereal that was on sale and when I got it, it was 1 month away from the Best by date... I of course asked for a refund and they required me to return it (drop it off at the pick up location) and there would be a 10% restocking fee. What? Restocking Fee? Of a product that is ONE MONTH AWAY FROM THE BB DATE? SO YOU'RE GOING TO RESELL THIS? And make more money off of a product that is one month away from the BB date? Amazing.
Since then of course I don't buy anything that goes on sale. Now I know why they go on sale.
If they weren't so too much about making money off of everything they have in every way they can, they would have a much better rating. But such a focus on making every penny they can make leaves them with loss at the end.
