My daughter just moved to MKE. I didn't know which florist to choose. The ease of using Ava's put smiles on both of our faces! The floral arrangement was gorgeous and delivered the same day!
They were several days late on delivery after having to call several times to get them to actually deliver the flowers. Then the flowers showed up and were super underwhelming. Not like the photo at all and would have been $10 at the grocery store rather than the $80 something Ava's charged. What a bummer of a birthday present for Mom. Don't get scammed. Use another company! Absolute garbage and couldn't possibly emphasize enough how bad Ava's services are.
I have never been more disappointed in a flower delivery company. I ordered flowers for a friend who was going through a tough time. The flowers never arrived, I received a message from Ava's Flowers saying delivery complete. THERE WAS NO DELIVERY. Two days later and the flowers still have not arrived. I spoke to a customer service rep earlier today, they said there was an error and their system marked the flowers delivered so the order was not sent. This person assured me that they will remedy this due to their error, and the flowers would arrive by the end of the day. Just now, I get another text message saying they were delivered, again no delivery…. Again spent 20 minutes off and on hold with yet another rep who claims, there is another error on there end and that there was no delivery. Another issue is that they actually charge an additional $2900 "service fee" on top of your order…. This is in addition to a delver fee. BEWARE, DO NOT COUNT ON THIS COMPANY FOR FLOWERS for a special occasion. They are not local as they advertise. I would give this company zero stars!
We ordered flowers for my aunts funeral who lives out of town. We took for granted that a website that offers a service would actually deliver on it. To our disgust, when we went to the funeral the flowers were not there. $164.30 later, a status that says delivered, and absolutely no one to actually speak to when you call. Do not EVER use these sites. Call a LOCAL FLORIST or the funeral home for suggestions. Never. Again.
Ordered flower arrangement for a funeral. Thank God a person took pics of all flowers that were there. She sent pic to me of what I ordered and to my DISGUST this co. Sent the wrong arrangement. I got refund... Do not waste your time ordering from this co.
I ordered same day delivery. It was not delivered. Called, they promised to deliver next day. It was not delivered. Called again. Here we are, five days later, and they still have not delivered. Customer service says they will assign to another florist. THEY are not local florists. Cancelling my order today.
I ordered the most beautiful arrangement for my daughter. It arrived 2 days late and had only about half of the flowers shown in picture, and some missing completely. It was HORRIBLE! And they charge way too much!
The flowers did not look like the description. I saw the flowers the day after they had been delivered and they were already droopy. Actually I was very disappointed. I did complain and $15 credit was given to me. But I doubt that I will use this florist again.
Charged me $144 for the flowers that they have advertised $59 dollars and did not do as i asked them. The card was wrong, customer service worse than the person who answer the phone. Would not recommend doing business with this company at all.
They delivered the wrong flowers and almost a week later we still do not have the correct arrangement. They have promised that they would be delivered by 3 pm today and again we are getting the run around. They tell us that they were delivered but they were not Thank goodness this was not for a birthday. BUYER BEWARE.
Flowers were pretty but delivery was giving me a hard time and the price was very high for some fee on top of the price of flowers and my boyfriend who i got them for broke up with me so i'm just salty
TERRIBLE! Paid $70 for autumn mum in chipwood basket w/ bow. Rec'd $7.99 half dead plant in regular plastic pot. No re-delivery or full refund. Offered $19.99. Cust service calls me but asks what my order # is? Transferred 3 times to be told no.
The flowers I ordered and the ones my sister received were completely different. The bouquet my sister received was old, worn out, a day away from dead. So heartbreaking for me. My sis is so important to me. I really wanted her to feel special.the first pic below was what I ordered, the second, the crap she received…. Like, Wtf? Does nobody have any integrity anymore?

That prompted me to order flowers for my daughter-in-law's birthday. I live in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, and I was lead to believe that the flower shop was in Wake Forest, N. C. where she lives, which has a population of about 44,000. On the web site, same day delivery is advertised. I ordered the birthday flowers on Sept. 27 for delivery on Sept. 30. At about 3pm on Sept. 30th I received a call telling me that the driver had gone out for the day and the flowers would not be delivered until October 1st. NOOOO! Why can't someone just drive them over, or send them by Taxi or Uber? There was a language barrier with the person to whom I was talking. When I asked her if she was the proprietor, she did not seem to know what I meant. The order had been expensive…with the total cost being about twice what the original cost had been. No compensation was offered. When I said that it would be good business practice to offer compensation, a $10 discount was offered… and then $20. I thought a 50% refund would have been more appropriate. No. Really? Didn't Ava's breach their contract which stated same day deliver?!
I canceled my order and I'd better see the amount come off my card. No compensation was offered. I will NEVER order from Ava's again. I then called customer service and was offered canned platitudes that seemed to have been read from a script. No sincerity and no offer to compensate. I would advise customers to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Ordered deluxe birthday arrangement 117.00 and 6 roses & 7 carnations is what they received nothing like the photo... beyond dissappointed

DO NOT use this service! It's expensive & they don't come through. Paid for expedited service and the flowers weren't delivered until the next day, AND only after many phone calls made to their customer service. They argued and fought with the sender and the recipient stating the recipient wasn't home (completely untrue) so they couldn't make the delivery. Asked for a refund and to cancel, they would not even consider it and argued about it. Demanded a cancellation and refund the next afternoon when the delivery had not been made - they still would not entertain the idea. I offered to go pick them up. I was told they didn't have the information on the local shop that was to be delivering them so I couldn't go get them.
They had our money and they were keeping it.
We googled them to see what others had to say. Interestingly, Ava's Flowers answers the question - is Ava's Flowers a scam. They say NO with a lengthy explanation of their 'business' and it's growth. Growth made by taking people's money and refusing to deliver the product or provide a refund.
When they finally arrived, it wasn't what we ordered. Understandably there are changes to flowers and such. The balloons aren't mylar as pictured, they are latex. Paid $5.00 for a large card and received the normal bouquet card. There's just a bunch that went wrong here.
Do yourself a HUGE favor and look up local florists in the area you wish to have flowers delivered and use them directly.
I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone, ever.
I ORDERED A LAVENDER SYMPATHY BASKET AND RECEIVED YELLOW AND GREEN FLOWERS WITH A LAVENDER BOW. I WAS CHARGED $5 EXTRA TO HAVE THE BOW MATCH THE LAVENDER FLOWERS, WHAT A JOKE! THE FLOWERS WERE NO WHERE WHAT I ORDERED AND THE BOW WAS THE ONLY THING LAVENDER. I WAS NOT ONLY EMBARRASSED, BUT MORTIFIED ON WHAT WAS DELIVERED! THE PICTURES I INCLUDED SHOW WHAT I THOUGHT I WAS ORDERING AND WHAT I RECEIVED! HORRENDOUS TO SAY THE LEAST!

Ordered a hundred dollar tropical arrangement, with a golden orange orchid, and they sent one small, white orchid plant in a chintzy little pot-something I could have bought at Home Depot for $9.99. Totally furious and heartbroken, as it was to be a cheerful remembrance of good times past, meant to put a smile on the face of my dying brother. They thoughtlessly robbed me of that loving gesture.
I went to their website and ordered a mini rose plant, in a basket. Several hours later they notified me, by phone, that they did not have the product. We discussed several options, while I looked at their site. The next option I chose they also didn't have. I specifically told them I wanted yellow flowers and nothing I mentioned was available. Finally I decided on the sunflower arrangement, from their site. The arrangement that they finally delivered was nothing like I had ordered and also not the quality I paid for. Would not recommend, or use this florist again.
The flowers delivered different products & designs (totally not the same as the picture listed on the website). Beware this company charged additional service fees without stated information in advance, when you do check out payment there are automatically additional service fees USD24.95 Plus Tax. Please check the review before ordering with this company. I doubt they are a first-hand florist store locally. The company needs to shut down the website that has been scamming & conning the customers on e-commerce. Not trusted shopping online over the years.
Answer: It's a scam. Very dishonest company. They advertise with a very detailed picture of their flowers, sizes and pricing. When my daughterv received these flowers they didn't look anything like the picture online. I wish I could attach a photo from my galleria for you to see. The picture tells the true story
Answer: I thought they were a local florist. Bc when I typed in the city and Avas Flowers popped up. They are NOT a local company and they are NOT a florist company per se. The Real business name is Flowers Tech Center, Inc... doing business as Avas flowers. They are out of New Jersey and they contracted florists in your local areas nationwide. They don't make the bouquets and the ones on the website are nowhere near to what you're getting. Which is CRAP! LEFTOVER flowers thrown together LAST minute and supposedly delivered fresh from their warehouse. FRAUD & SCAMMERS! Use your local florists or buy them from your grocery store which would be much better and NOT costly. Save yourself time, money and headaches from rude customer service reps and all you get is the run around and lies.
Answer: Phone tree hell. Very lengthy messages that you have to listen to in order to get the prompts.
