AT&T Reviews Summary

The reviews reflect a predominantly negative perception of the company's overall reputation and customer service. Customers frequently express frustration with long wait times, ineffective support, and unresolved billing issues, leading to a sense of distrust and dissatisfaction. Complaints about unauthorized charges and poor communication from representatives are common, suggesting systemic problems in service delivery. Customer service
March 9, 2022

I"m getting over billed and have tried to pay bill on line through checking account.

Customer service... has said it's straightened out.

Going to try again... third time today.

If they can't fix my bill and won't take my money, somethings seriously wrong with Customer Service.

Worst service ever
March 6, 2022

I was with them since 2006. At first they were great but since the pandemic they have become the worst company. They take unauthorized money from people, the customer service department is rude and argumentative and good luck getting a representative that you can actually use understand because most of them barely speak English. I left on 3/2/22 after 16 years and they just stole money from my account today. They are thieves and they will tell you they can't reverse the transaction when they actually can.

I've been overcharged for nine months and I am owed $210.06. This is the worst company I've dealt with that keeps trying to charge me for an un-authorized.

I don't even know how to start this. I thought T-Mobile was bad but man. I'd rather send smoke signals to communicate to other people. My entire family and some friends have att and they all have the same problem. I don't have service in the most random inconvenient places. Spotty phone calls. Failed to deliver messages left and right. Nothing loads 80% of the time. Trash service. Do your self a favor and go with T-Mobile or Verizon

Was with Verizion for 20 years. Switched trying to save some money. Got 3 new phones. There was an issue with connecting 2 of my phones. 6 Weeks of issues, 10-12 hours of waiting, being lied to, and incompetence, before the phones started working (we hope they stay that way).
Amazing! If I ran my business like this, I wouldn't have one.

They did offer me $25 off my bill. WOW! After not being able to use my phone 50% of the time in six weeks. Plus, I had to buy a burner phone just to make calls, which costs me another $100. $25 OFF! Are you &%$# kidding me! Thanks AT&T. You're the best! I will tell all my enemies about you.

What a waste of time. Buyer Beware.

Death to AT&T
March 1, 2022

I hate AT&T so much that I'm thinking of leaving the area I $#*!ing live in just to say $#*! you to the $#*! company! It's not only the $#*! service they provide, but it's everything from the ethical decisions the management makes. I wish nothing but the worst karma amongst any executive of this evil company. $#*! them so much.

Worst Provider
March 1, 2022

I recently moved and it could not have been more than the worst experience with AT&T. First, before I moved there was a collections posted to my credit from where someone opened an account in my name, but I was never notified nor contacted until it had already gone to collections. Then after that was handled I called 3 different times and talked to the same girl who asked me to verify my address. Each time I gave her my correct address, future address and previous address but she said they were wrong and said she would send me a code via email and text. The text never came through and 2 days later the code came through email. Which she could not confirm because the day had past. Then I scheduled a tech to come out and install because my new place is not preset up for AT&T. I received 2 phone calls confirming and the tech never showed up. Called back and was on hold for almost an hour just talk to the same girl who put me on hold then hung up on me. Luckily I called back and was able to speak to someone else who was able to reschedule a tech but not until the following Saturday and said he has no clue how my appointment was cancelled. I wanted to just cancel service because of how frustrated I am, but there is $180 cancellation fee, even though my new contract hasn't even started. I've been with AT&T for 2 years now and it seems like there is always a problem. It's just ridiculous to deal with this and pay almost $200 a month for cable and internet.

I called this morning about my Mom landline for repair. I had to speak to 6 different people and stay on the line for 45 minutes before I spoke with the right person. I'm still not sure the problem will be resolved. She has had the same problem before. And its still not resolved. Can you not do better than this. My Mom is 92 and lives by herself. She needs her phone.

Terrible customer service
February 26, 2022

Would give them 0 stars if I could. Customer service is horrible. Spent over 3 hours on the phone to try to resolve billing issues and still not finished. I had autopay and am showing a $350 past due amount. Every representative I speak with tells me different reason for amount due.

They're crap
February 22, 2022

They don't value their customers at all. Especially the loyal ones. $174 per month for 2 tvs is ridiculous. And they think they're doing you a favor if they offer promotions which expire and you have to keep calling back to renegotiate then you get someone in Asia to assist you. Seriously!

We continued to get a monthly charge after switching from AT&T to Verizon. The first month they said they would reverse the charge. The second month they said they would reverse both months and stop the charge. The third month, when nothing had been done, the rep got the bottom of the charge -- we had switched our phones, but only "suspended" our ipads. Therefore, we were still being charged $104 a month for the service, although "suspended". They stopped the third month charge, but would not reverse the other two months because, in their records, we only "suspended" our ipads. We did not even have these ipads any longer and had apparently been charged for them for at least two years. Verizon is costing us about $85 less a month (probably mostly because of the ipad charges that we weren't aware of). But, feeling scammed by AT&T. Buyer beware.

BAD
February 21, 2022

My inboxes for my wife and I were both locked out! Can't see if we have bills waiting or just someone trying to contact us. Called ATT customer service, most don't speak English you can understand, that always helps! Talked to 7 reps and 3 MGRs. Came to a conclusion, to send me a reset password through the snail mail. About 5 days later I got it, didn't work. So they paid 10 people for 5 to 6 hrs of talk, that couldn't do nothing as far as help. Told me no discount on my bill, I'm not ENTITLED to an inbox the guy said, but pay 10 people that can't do their job.

I signed up for internet and a rep came to assist well while doing so he advised me that cell phone service with at&t would give me me more discounts an lower my internet service I asked how much phone service would be he said 65.00 well that was a lie he also said I wouldn't have to pay an activation fee that was incorrect. After porting from Verizon my phone wouldn't work on there network properly so I was told I would get a free phone in February that didn't happen because I use my phone for business so I had to get one of there's thinking I could return the one I got when the new ohone came so I would have service none of what I was told or thought worked out. I am leaving this company as soon as I pay for this phone don't be fooled by these ppl the only thing that works or was true is the internet service I am so disappointed an unhappy now I am paying 95 dollars for a phone an phone service when my old Google pixel was paid for an should have worked on there network but they claim it was listed as a 3G phone when with Verizon it was a 5G I think all this was to make me get a phone from them an pay more money in the end very untrustworthy company.

'm a new family member with AT&T, Mesa Ridge Branch. I have to give the biggest "ever" given shout out to Derick and Makyra for thier most awesome (the bomb) service given to me as a new member. Derick has a personality so uplifting, polite and spunk I've ever received in my experience since cellular came into exsistance. I went into the store, contracts in themself are stressful; however, I left there with the biggest smile and confidence of what I has just done. Makyra, sweetest assistant who took care of me with literally so much patience and had me serviced in and out, just that quick! Both Derick and Makyra went over and beyond to service me, no matter how many times I keep going back to the store, back and forth over a few days. They always treated me asif it were my first vist. I can go on and on about how they welcomed me into AT&T family. When asked "Who is your provider", I'm proud to say I'm am a AT@T family member. Much love goes out to Derick and Makya (God is on good)...

Not like there isn't enough racial division in this country, now you come out with commercial all in Spanish. And that's fine on a Hispanic channel, but on regular networks that are ALL in English is an insult to those of us who don't speak Spanish.
