Customers frequently express frustration with long wait times, ineffective support, and unresolved billing issues, leading to a sense of distrust and dissatisfaction. Complaints about unauthorized charges and poor communication from representatives are common, suggesting systemic problems in service delivery. Bad busines
November 17, 2023

I swapped from Verizon to AT&T with promotion of free IPhone 15. They said I would have coverage at home. In which I ended up having no service. I spent a complete day on phone with costumer service. Told me nothing wrong with phone and services are being done on 2 towers in my area, and wait a few weeks and use WiFi calling in mean time.
I'm like NO, I have 2 weeks to return phone or I am stuck paying for it if I leave AT&T. I returned phones and returned to Verizon. And the app also did not work, and techs had to bypass code anytime I wanted to use it.
Now I was just informed a month later even though I didn't use service, I owe the whole bill of 158$ because they do not pro-rate their bills.
I would stay away from AT& T like the plague if you live outside of the city limits.

Final Bill
November 17, 2023

Some time ago me and my wife wanted to change t mobile to att. We came to the att store and one employee tried for a long time to set up the work of sim cards, but it didn't work, he asked us to try to do it ourselves at home as well. We tried to set up sim cards at home but that didn't work either and we couldn't activate it. Then we just threw away the sim cards. Probably because our phones are undersupported. But sim card t mobile works in our phones. After what 2-3 months we received a bill for $400 for using the att wireless network. But we have never used sim cards. It is so expensive bill for nothing.
At the moment a debt collector try to take my money for nothing.
It is super terrible surprise from ATT!

Liars and thieves
November 16, 2023

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I ran into 2 AT&T representatives at a BJs wholesale club. They sold me a lie - that I could get a free upgraded iPhone and a $40 monthly plan based on me being a BJs club member, and because I get a teacher discount, and if I paid my bill on auto, online. None of that was true. Unfortunately, after being swayed being their spiel, I signed up. The BJ member part was fabricated, the monthly bill was $60, and then my phone was lost in the trade-in process and they charged me monthly for the new, upgraded phone. My monthly bill was more than $80. I also had to change my phone number of 20 years to switch carriers, which wasted so much of my time, caused complications with friends, job accounts, social media accounts, etc. The whole process with switching to AT&T and the initial activation charges cost me a good amount of money. This whole process wasted so much time as well, just trying to call and talk to agents and get any form of resolution. No matter what evidence I provided them, in the end they wouldn't do anything without a receipt that I didn't have from the UPS store I dropped my trade-in box. The original agent told me to call back after the 3rd bill, and it was then that I realized AT&T never received the trade-in (my old phone) but UPS records only go back 45 days, so they couldn't provide proof that I dropped the box off there. AT&T basically shrugged and said without a receipt I would continue to pay $80+ per month. I am a high school teacher with 3 young kids, and I'm furious when I think about the time and money I wasted on this situation. I only wish I never went into BJs that day and never saw those AT&T reps. I hate this company with a passion. I'm switching carriers tomorrow.

Phone stolen in transit
November 16, 2023

Apparently my cell phone never made it from the ATT warehouse to UPS. No one ever told me. I found out by calling ATT. Then I had to place a reorder where I am required to repay a $50 sales tax. Sure I'll be refunded and how many business days will it take for me to see that money? While they get paid now. I asked for my reorder to be shipped priority and I didn't see that on the reorder. I didn't qualify for any promotions on my phone and the original CS rep didn't tell me that I could get a newer phone for the same price.

Worst company ever
November 15, 2023

We started service with AT&T over a year ago through sam's club. The representative stated that if we trade in our galaxy devices they would credit us brand new s22's. He went on to say that the plan he could put us on an unlimited plan for $25/line with HBO and access to 5G. We agreed and when he rang us up he charged over $700, he said that was for taxes and surcharges. Taxes for 5 phones is not close to $700. Regardless we paid and sent our phones in. AT&T then went on to say the lost our phones and we spent a lot of time getting the tracking and sending it to them. They finally decided to give us the credit and then our first bill was $530. We called to inquire why and they said the credit would reflect in a few months. They credited our account but definitely not enough to compensate the first bill or even the second or third. As a matter of fact our bills have been over$200/ month, not the agreed $125. On top of everything the service is slow, interruptions during phone calls and we lose signal alot. We would love nothing more than to get our old phones back and leave this godawful service. They raise our monthly premiums with no notice or explanation. If you're looking to switch providers do not go to AT&T. They are literally the worst company ever

I signed up for a new account replacing cable and internet. The rep advised I would get a $200 credit for a new account. Instead they offered me other services which I didn't want. After complaining to lower management with no results. I mailed a complaint to Executive management. I sent certified to the Dallas corporate office. It was received. I never even got the courtesy of a reply. Don't try to call. You'll just get bounced from one person to another! I'm probably going to find a carrier who does whet they promise!

Two thugs in dirty street clothes, driving an unmarked pick-up truck went into my backyard unauthorized and began digging holes all over the place. I yelled at them to get off my property and they just laughed at me, mocked me, and kept digging. They turned out to be AT&T employees who feel perfectly free to trespass anytime they please without notice and who laugh in your face when you tell them to leave.

Poor
November 8, 2023

I made a payment with a credit card before payment was due and they still drafted my checking account even after I called customer service and they were supposed to suppress my auto pay. Instead they didn't do their job correctly and they drafted it anyways. They are making me go to my bank to submit proof of payment. Now I have to go out of my way to get this done. This is not the first time either. Terrible customer service

This company is a scam; they promised $800 for trade-in and gave me $20 for a fully functional phone that was exactly as described. I asked my phone back, they said it's not possible and that all they are giving me is $20 for a phone worth at least $500

AT&T is terrible.
November 3, 2023

#ATT Do not get a phone with ATT.
If the phone breaks, even if you have insurance they will make you pay to replace the phone. They will lie to you about the amount of your bills. If you they make an arrangement with you when you call their support team they tell you what you want to hear to get you off the phone but don't actually submit or set up what they said in their system.

Terrible
November 2, 2023

My telephone works terribly.
Half the time no one can hear me.
You call for service and they sell you another phone.
That doesn't work so they try to sell you a 200 dollar booster
To just get the service you've been paying for but can't use.
Horrible company.

I visited the Prosper Texas location today and purchased iPhone 15 Plus. I was helped by Piper. He gave outstanding customer service. He was very professional, polite and courteous, attentive and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. I will definitely tell all friends and family to go see Piper directly.

So frustrating! Spent too much time for nothing on the phone trying to resolve this issue. Did I upgrade my phone to get 5G, yes supposedly that is necessary to get a signal, do I pay my outrageous bill every month for cell phone, internet and Direct TV. Yes I do. Do I get the worst cell phone service with dropped calls and noone can hear me. Yes I do.
I cannot stand calling in, it is ridcously LONG wait times and nothing gets resolved. I really do want to change phone carriers which I am very close to doing. You really need to step up your services and customer service. You won't miss one customer until it starts to accumulate then you'll feel the loss. I hate writing reviews like this but they price gouge and service is terrible
