I'm very pleased with my results. I had a limited budget and the contestants came through. I dozens of names to choose from, making it a bit difficult to pick a winner. I certainly would use Squadhelp again if I ever open another business.
Absolutely a wonderful experience. I loved how I can communicate directly with the creatives and explore their ideas. Loved it. Will definitely recommend others to use this site.
I enjoyed this experience and it's a pretty neat idea.
It was awesome!
This was an amazing experience and I was blown away by the quality of the submissions. Thanks to everyone.
Very good- worked for me - thanks
Had no idea I would receive the number of creatives that we did for this! It was amazing to see all the entries! Thank you!
Lots of great names to choose from
I really enjoyed this process overall, and thought many of the submissions were absolutely fantastic. I'm very happy with your service and I'll definitely recommend it to friends that might need it. So everything I say below is more-or-less nitpicky. You did ask for my input though :) Some of the front-end UI was a little bit cumbersome to manage. It's beautiful interface, but I would have liked an option to show a condensed list of all submissions that show just the submitted name, the url, the rating, and the user who submitted it... each entry on a single line. Then clicking the entry would roll out the extra options. This would help when dealing with nearly 500 entries. I would also have liked a way to sort and filter submissions by the user who submitted. This would help when having an ongoing dialog with specific users so I could easily track their refinement profess. Also (and I get why you dont do this), I really wanted all users to be able to see all submissions. There were some excellent names chosen that were like 80% close and going in the exact direction I wanted, but couldn't share that information to all users. I was hoping the process would be more like a round-table discussion. Since other users couldn't see what I rating I was giving to all other submissions, I kept getting names that I immediately dismissed and sort of just cluttered up my inbox. I feel like if there was some more openness and transparency between submitters, a name I would have REALLY liked could have come about. (not to say I don't really like the name selected). Finally - too many emails! I was on this site throughout the day of every day during the contest but I feel like I got nearly hourly updates. All in all (not counting the "the contest is over" and "thanks for signing up" type emails), I got about 35 over the course of the 5 days. One synopsis email per day is about all I need. Thanks again for your awesome service! -Garret
Good experience and glad that we found a good name for our company
Helpful
Great way to get multiple options for your business at a low cost
It was easy and the customer service was very responsive.
I think the best way to describe my experience with SquadHelp was average. The site was good, the price was fair, and the ideas/names were ok. I felt like a lot of the submissions were retreads from similar agency naming exercises with little strategic thought put against our brief. I'm 50/50 if I'll use the site again and it will probably ultimately depend on the parameters of what I'm looking for.
I was quite nervous about starting a naming contest for my new brand because I was worried about investing money into something that wouldn't turn out to be the right fit. Squadhelp far exceeded my expectations. It's like being part of a huge boardroom of creatives brainstorming and workshopping ideas. I definitely found a few different ideas I was excited about and will use for my brand.
I had many great submissions and, although, I slightly modified the name submitted by the winner, I wouldn't have come up with it without his idea. Many of the designers worked very hard to play with concepts and come up with creative alternatives. I highly recommend putting work into your brief and giving helpful feedback. You may find that what you thought you wanted changes as the ideas come up and you are better able to refine your brand. That's the value of crowdsourcing!
Excellent. I may need you again if the busness is as successful as it should be.
Great experience, excellent value for money.
Worked well for us.
