They owe me £180 car did not match and they are trying to tell me i rejected the deposit. Why would I pay a deposit on a car that does not match

I reserved a car through Atlaschoice in Ancona. I ended up with Autovia, a 100% Italian rental company. Car was very old and scratchy, but OK, the price was also low. When we came back Autovia had collected money from my Creditcard. More than the rental amount.We dont know why.
I contacted Atlaschoice, but they do like nothing. They have no contact with the rental company they say, though thet rent out cars by Autovia every day. Autovia responds to nothing.

Do not rent your car by Atlaschoice because they have no service in these cases, thet do business with fraud companies. And you as consumer are will be the suffering one

Tried booking a car in Iceland - but 2 days later they email & they say they can't fulfill the order because all the cars at the price they advertised are already rented - so they offer me a SMALLER car for a HIGHER price. Uh, no thanks.

Start looking on the rental sites again and low-and-behold, there is Atlas choice, still advertising that they have cars at that price/location (it said that 'had 4 remaining at that price'). So I try again - and once again, 2 days later they say they cannot fulfill my order and offer a smaller car for a higher price.

This company clearly has no intention of supplying cars at the prices it advertises, it is just a lure to get you to run out of time and have to accept one of their higher priced vehicles.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID

NEVER USE THIS SERVICE! They will just steal from you.

I needed to cancel my reservation and requested a refund and their "customer service" just copy and pasted their T&C and FLAT OUT REFUSED my refund.

They wouldn't even supply me with a voucher for future bookings to make up for it!

I asked to escalate my claim and they just replied "This request has been resolved. You can see your ticket here." and linked me to their T&C copy paste email.

Absolutely atrocious. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Booked a car through atlas choice with travel rent.
Travel rent are difficult to find working from a cabin the car park.
Atlas choice take your money before you land
Travel rent then add 50% on top inventing some local charges, this they demand in cash making it difficult to get back through your credit card company
There is a supposed customer service route, but your complaint will not be investigated, run a search this company are infamous for this kind of robbery, (wish i had before using them)
All travellers avoid atlas choice in every city

Terrible company. You will be left stranded without a car and charged for it! Please research Atlaschoice reviews and read all the negative experiences about them before you book - I wish I had!

I booked an automatic car and prepaid with AtlasChoice. When I went to pick up my car, I was informed that my request for a manual car was not processed by Atlas Choice and there were no automatic cars available. Atlas Choice left me stranded.

After promising a refund over the telephone, Atlas Choice charged me again. I have made several attempts to contact Atlas Choice who will not process the refund.

This is a terrible example of how a company can cheat and steal from its customers. I never leave customer reviews, but I feel it's my duty to warn others NEVER to hire with Atlas Choice.

Absolutely terrible!
We book car with Alta's choice only last week. We supposed to pick it up from Lodz airport and leave it at the airport in Warsaw. We checked details, price was good and so we booked only to get to know we got the vaucher that Atlas choice book the car to be picked up from Lodz and drop off at the Lodz airport. If we wanted to cancel we still had to pay 70% of the fee and if we wanted the car we had to pay additionally for dropping car in the different location. Nicely done Atlas Choice!

Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware!)

My rental did not go well at all.

I was promised a Toyota Yaris and got a beat up (covered in dents scratches and even had rust on some panels) Hyundai Getz that had already seen several seasons of heavy use.

I paid Atlas extra for excess cover on this hire, but when filling in the paperwork at the beginning of the hire was told that the excess was E700 which is probably more than the car they hired to me was worth...

On returning the car, they identified a further two scratches on the sill and I could not remember how they got there, I was then asked to write a fake accident report based on what I thought might have caused the scratches and state in writing that I agree to pay E274 in damages (taken off my card with immediate effect). The lady informed me that Atlas would refund any monies that they took from my account.

I agreed as it appeared I had no other choice and we did not want to miss our flight home, but I did place one caveat on their accident report, that I agreed to pay on proof that they had carried out the repairs.

This is a scam, they are claiming for damages that they are not repairing and then immediately re-leasing the cars to the next customer/victim. The car I hired had several seasons worth of damage evident that had not been repaired and even had rust showing on some panels.

You could buy a car in this condition for a few hundred pounds in the UK, yet they have extracted the same for a couple of scratches.

Atlaschoice's excess waiver is not worth the paper it is written on and you are exposed to fraudulent unscrupulous behaviour from the moment you walk into the partner company's office.

I will be taking them to a small claims court to get my refund plus expenses and court costs.

Be forewarned, this company is a total scam. Their website says their quotes include the necessary insurances that Ireland requires, but beware, they will tell you the quote includes it, but when you try to pick up your car, the insurance will NOT be included and you will have to pay an exorbitant amount on top of what you have already paid. TOTAL RIPOFF
Then when I tried to resolve they continued to change their story and tell more lies.
BUYER BEWARE, DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU. IT IS ALL LIES!

Price was great, cheapest that I could find on a decent class of vehicle. However, no vehicle on arrival at airport, no contact from local supplier or atlas choice, no counter at airport for local supplier. Phoned local supplier (Virtus Car Hire - avoid like the plague) and without apology was told to hire another car and claim back the cost of it through atlas choice.
Logged complaint as soon as i got back, still have had no acknowledgement of my complaint, have phoned atlas choice 4 times only to be told that they can see my complaint is in the system and no more. I was told that the complaints dept was very busy, so I can only assume they get a lot of complaints! 6 weeks have passed and my complaint has not even been acknowledged so I will start legal proceedings to recover my money.

After searching a few companies online I thought Atlas looked like they were offering a good deal and made a booking with them. I paid the extra premium so that if I cancelled my booking, I would not be charged anything. Upon cancelling my booking, they charged USD60 to my card (even though it clearly flashed up on my screen that they would not charge me anything). Then they argue over and back on email with me and treat me like I am the dumb one! On top of that, they passed on my mobile number to an external supplier to try and get me to do a booking with them! I have complained again to them but I am sure they won't care. Best to avoid these 'cheap' companies as there is no such thing as a good deal! I'll be sticking with Europcar / Hertz direct anymore.

I arrived in Alicante and followed the directions given to pick up the bus that was taking us to the car rental park. After about 20 mins I rang the number given to see how long the bus would be. No answer. I tried at least 5 more times and every time didn't get a reply. It got to about 2215hrs and as I have 2 young boys I decided to get a taxi to the car rental park. The driver had no idea where the park was but did try to find it. He drove to every park that he was aware of and couldn't find it, he even asked his control centre but had no luck. As the time was getting late I had no choice but to hire another car from a different supplier at a considerable cost. Not a good start to our family holiday
