Very poor customer service that mostly reads off of legal scripts. They know their service is substantially sub-par to the manufacturer's free service, yet charge you $40 and send you to them anyway. I don't understand how this is legal. Don't ever buy protection policies from Staples, Amazon, or Best Buy.

They are eager to hang up on you, disconnect from you either on call or chat. Shirell you are the worst customer rep that I ever encountered. I worked in this field, and wow. They are so eager to finish the call or chat. Worst service plus their insurance plan sucks. Never even pay that. I am canceling the service.
This company is far the worse I've ever dealt with. If I could give 0 starts I would. I bought an extended warranty for my refrigerator and since the ice machine broke I called them to get it fix. My first attempt was back in April. After they got my prof of purchased they said they'll contact me but never did. It's June and I called back. Nobody knew anything about my claim apparently the system didn't registered and never got to the technician, but nobody bothered to keep in touch with me. When I called today, it took me 45 minutes to get to someone who was a very rude and unprofessional lady named Crystal. She was working from home so I can hear her screaming children on the back ground. Not only she hang up on me once but the second time after another 45 minute of waiting she rudely told me that my claim number didn't exist so she transferred to Jcpenny where I purchased my refrigerator. Never again I'll do business with you.
Not easy to file a claim. Bad customer service. They do not cover what they offer. I purchased a longboard from Amazon that broke, they say the insurance does not cover accidents, but it supposes the longboard is designed to resist a teenager, and it was not an accident.
I purchased this protection plan when I purchased my8 LG refrigerator. My fridge has condensation on the exterior of the freezer door and they told me that was normal, really? They sent 6 techs out that are supposedly LG specialist. Not so much. My fridge has been gooped with with silicone caulk, random styriphone taped to the freezer door, duct tape, and a repair expert that couldn't figure it out. They tried replacing the door but the door was an inch off from the other door and the repair rep was going to leave it. WHERE IS THE LEMON REPLACEMENT ASSURION! I AM TIRED OF WAITING FOR PHONE CALLS I DONT RECEIVE from a so called, repair specialist. Repair reps tell me it's on you to replace this. All you do is collect the money we pay you upfront and do nothing.
The sales people are rude and pushy. They ruined Ubreakifix. The Home+ product in specific has no benefits over other programs such as GeekSquad.
They take your money and dont want to provide the service and as a #VERIZON customer this should be top notch! Filed a claim back in feb paid 60$ to have 2 phones repaired, not only did the repairman not show up for one phone but for 2! Covid hit phone gets worse over time... then they want to turn around and charge a deductible! I DONT THINK SO!
This company isn't prepared to help clients through a pandemic. You need to find your ways to find a printer and file claims.

I filled a claim with this company per AT&T and went through all the proper steps and the phone rep fixing my phone at the AT&T store in Cave Springs broke my phone and admited it. Then they give me the number to asurion instead of taking care of the problem in the store and now im on my 2hour wild goose chase just to get ahold of someone. I then am asked to fill out additional paperwork followed by a 24hr approval process all to get my phone that they broke. This company is a total joke!
My phone died one month after I paid it off, conveniently. No water damage, just unable to access screen - blacked out, unable to backup or reset. Couldn't go to Sprint store due to George Floyd rioting. Sent it to Asurion and they said i needed a replacement. Although i owned my phone and had insurance, they made me upgrade from a S8plus to a S9plus and pay $275 PLUS return the phone I OWN or face a $410 fee. Because of the riots, i felt i had no choice, so i did it. They sent me a refurbished phone - not even a new one. I couldn't even activate it so i finally found an open Sprint store and the very kind and helpful guys there said Asurion totally scammed me. My old phone could've been fixed but since they activated my new phone there was nothing they could do. Even the Sprint guys said Asurion is a total scam. They don't carry or recommend their coverage. They recommend a liquid screen saver product which would cover my screen for damage up to $250 and said if my phone had other damage I'd do better as a Sprint customer to buy a replacement outright at a discount from Sprint. Asurion is the worst scam of a company I've ever dealt with! BEWARE!
This has to be a scam, worst protection plan you could go with. You better stick with the manufacturer directly. My ice maker broke, it's been over one month and it still isn't fixed and I don't see the end in sight. They sent a technician that no only did not fix the problem, make it worst. Is very difficult to get them to call you back. Customer service is in Philippine, trying to talk to a supervisor or manager is a joke.
My phone screen is broken so I call Verizon to see what my insurance is looking like. Turns out Asurion will repair my phone at home for $29! Amazing, right? No... the system is wack. Nobody showed up for my appointment TWICE. It took an entire day to get through to the company due to my cracked screen which presses buttons for me. When the call successfully went through, the woman sent me to the "escalation" line because she heard my frustration. They then told me I had no appointment at all. I have all confirmation emails, a receipt, and I had previously CALLED that day (!) to confirm my second appointment. When you call the hotline, Temporary pin they send via text DOESNT WORK. What do I mean? Simply that. Thankfully my screen was in a good mood and allowed me to bounce back and forth through apps. I wonder how people with broken phones would go about completing this!
Bought a pool pump from Amazon. Got the insurance. Pump failed. Past manufacturer warranty. No phone number to call, manufacturer not listed as a covered company. Had to go to chat. Person typed in broken English. Found my account and said claim was filed. Two days later, nothing. Went online again. Tried to go to chat. No one came on. Went on Facebook. Wrote and got a response on Messenger. Also in broken English. Was told no claim existed. Filed a new one said I would hear within 24 hours. Nothing. Went back on Messenger several times. No response. Called Amazon. They said I would hear within 24 hours. Been two weeks and nothing. Waste of money and time. Rip off. Don't get taken. Amazon is complicent in this.
My son-in-law is on my ATT account. He bought a new phone, got the Asurion insurance. The phone slide of the seat of the truck just a day later and cracked up. He filed the claim on line. They then claimed they needed my photo ID since I was the account holder. We uploaded that to them. This went on 5 times. First they would say they didn't get the upload, or it was fuzzy, resubmit, etc. I sent a certified signed return receipt with all the info. My daughter called about it. They claim my photo was not with it. It was. They canceled the claim. This was because I also sent with it I was filing a claim with the attorney general of Oregon. Of course ATT can do nothing about it.
After dropping my cell in a pool I was directed to aurion though Verizon, the first time i called i waited for about an hour before I talked to a person. They sent me a new phone with the promise that someone would drop the phone off and return to their car. After arriving back in their car I was supposed to receive a call from the worker to help me set up the phone, I caught the woman sneaking up my front walk crouched down so we would not see her. She said to me here is your phone got in her car and drove away. I received an email ten minutes later saying that she had missed my appointment and no one was home. But that's not even the best part, they sent me a faultily phone. I am paying to replace a phone they should not be sending me an old phone that someone has broken before. The second and third time I called the people were extremely rude. Telling me that they would maybe send me a new phone, it was not until i threated to stop the payment of the phone that they began to actually help me. I am still waiting for the replacement of my replacement, I hope it works, but I am not holding my breath.
All I need is for them to replace a lost phone and fulfill their end of the contract. But, Every single time I call it is another problem with this "insurance" company! I have updated my address 3 times with different reps and they still don't have it correct! I've uploaded an Afidavit and a picture of my State ID, and now I'm told that I need to upload the exact same items AGAIN! 6 times I've called, gone to *******@sprint complete app numerous times, and gone to phoneclaim.com/sprint Lord knows how many times without resolution and every time the rep seems to care less about my frustration. BEWARE *******@asurion tech insurance as their customer care is terrible, their competency is beyond subpar, and their professionalism doesn't even exist. This is the poorest excuse for an insurance provider I have ever had the unfortunate need to deal with! If ANYONE has an alternative *******@asurion, even if it's more expensive, I would highly recommend never even considering this laughable organization. A true, recent experience from a long time customer *******@asurion giving them ZERO out of 5 stars! This is a TERRIBLE company!

So I bought insurance through them because the place I bought my MacBook said it was a good idea, a couple months later water spills and get under my MacBook. It's okay right I have insurance? NOPE! The one star is there because they got my box to me in 2-days. After that, I was told it would be up to 10 business days, then I get an email 3 days later that the repair part they need they don't have, takes them a month to get my laptop back and I bugged them constantly for updates as I need it for school and work. Finally, get it back and it is more broke then I sent them, never had a problem with my tab key, not it is so stuck it is beyond me to explain, my battery drains so fast, and my keyboard doesn't light up. I call thinking they would help. HAHA! The joke was on me! They told me I could send it back in and it would take another "10 days" to fix and they would send it back, I said can I have a loaner or a replacement device sent out because I can not go another month without a laptop. NOPE! The rudest rep ever! Your plan doesn't cover that... what do you mean, this was your mess up you should be doing everything to make sure it is fixed ASAP. I said I wasn't happy and would be calling corporate in the morning, rep told me "if you hate our company so much call Apple and see how much they help you." I was legit crying over the phone to this lady begging for something and that how I got treated. Been 4 days still haven't gotten a box, but you know what I did do, I called Apple and talked to them, they said bring your laptop tp us we will fix it or replace it. I am sorry but if that is not the best customer service ever I don't know what is.

Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
