Horrible! I have called 3 times about my replacement that was ordered on April 23 with delivery on April 24th 1st call they said it was at UPS. I CALLED UPS. THEY NEVER RECEIVED IT. Called asurion back to be told OPPPS ITS STILL HERE YOU WILL HAVE IT TOMORROW. Today now April 27th checked my tracking and item still hasn't shipped. Left on hold 27 minutes with more lies of where my replacement is. They tried to tell me my address didn't match what they have on file.? I screenshot the confirmation email and yes the address matches.
Absolutely ridiculous service.

Scam, fraudulent, and unprofessional

Do not get insurance through this company for your devices. I pay monthly for insurance for my phone. My phone became damaged and I requested a new one; had to pay a $200 deductible. That's all fine and normal on the surface for insurance businesses even if it's a bit ridiculous and over priced. I get my new device and they give me return packaging with a pre printed label to mail my broken device back to them. I mailed it out within 3 days after receiving the new phone... Over a month after mailing it, I see a $300 charge from them. I called them, they said they never received my device back so charged me the $300 fee that is written in their "contract" for not returning a device. I told them I had mailed it out over a month ago. They gave me no help, no internal investigation... They said all I could do was file a claim with USPS. So I did. I called asurion back again giving them the missing mail # from USPS cause they said if I did that, I would be refunded. To my surprise, the representative said we actually found your phone on 4/25. Amazing it showed up all the sudden after I complained to multiple representatives on 4/21,4/23, and 4/24. She claimed they issued a refund when it was found on 4/25, and it would take 7-10 days. 17 days later, I have not received my money. I called again today. The representative said he issued refund to my card as we were on phone and it will be there in 3-5 days. So that sounds like they never issued the initial refund when they found my phone... If I had not been tracking my bank account closely, I might not have noticed they never sent my money back. Their word is not to be trusted. I have read numerous complaints of them fraudulently taking others money and not returning it for long periods of time. They need to have a lawsuit against them and be shut down. If you use them (which I suggest DONT), you better follow your bank account closely as they will take out money and then claim they issued a refund that never actually took place. They are a scam overall—the phones they send you as a replacement are refurbished, not brand new. They often have issues and you pay a monthly fee on top of an absurd deductible. Between all the money they take, I could have bought a brand new phone for cheaper without all this hassle. Their customer service is terrible too. I have spent hours trying to get through to them. Been hung up on more times than I can count. Do not give them your business. They will fraudulently charge you and waste your time.

Misleading

I paid for 2 and 1/2 years for a cell phone protection plan and when time came that I needed a replacement and was about to file a claim, I found out I would have to pay $200+ out of pocket for the new phone. Considering that I paid $15 for all this time (=$450 over 2 and 1/2 years), I might as well buy a brand new one. Shouldn't have signed up for this. They never explained how much of a co-pay would be added to a claim. It's very misleading and I am very disappointed that Bell mobility endorses these guys. I wish they had never offered me this plan.

Bought my son Mariucci batting gloves in Feb 2021. They tore but he continued to use them. They said the wear is "Excessive" - I will go back to $#*!s and file a complaint and plan to file a complaint against the Asurion.

Horrible

Asurion Sucks, don't waste your time or money with them.On New Year's Eve my phone randomly wouldn't turn on or charge so, my mother filed a claim with asurion and waited two days and no response from them.We then proceeded to call them and spent 2 hours on the phone with them only for them to tell us that they cannot send me a new phone.The man on the phone told us I had to turn off find my but how am I supposed to do that when the phone won't turn on.So in the end I had to go out and buy a new phone.So what is the point of having insurance if they won't get you a new phone when it broke? Never again am I using this service all they do is give you a run around and waste your time.

2 missed appointments

Earlier today they had 11-1PM window. The guy calls at 1:15 and I explain I am in a work meeting. He tries to get me to call asurion to make a change so he can keep the job. I instead log into site and change to 5-7 because I had meetings. I now wait from 5-7 and do not hear from asurion again - so leaving my office - still with a cracked phone screen.

The reviews on their website is total BS. Apparently there are no locations near me for 40 minutes, and it took 35 minutes for a little nerd to get to me. Once he got here apparently they had all of my information wrong and couldn't fix my screen. Literally had to take off work and I have to take off work AGAIN to get my phone fixed. Don't waist your time with this insurance, just go to iWorx or some other phone restoration place. These people (both the repairperson and the insurance rep) have no idea what they're doing.

Its like a 5 step process everything taking days to do, I believe they purposefully make themselves useless so you don't follow through with claims.

I had to work through Asurion to get a new phone. They had the wrong information for my phone so I couldn't complete the claim online. Tried to call and they told me I had get Verizon to fix the information. Did that and called Asurion again and they told me to wait 24 hours. Then I 'completed' the claim and even got a voicemail saying that the phone would be sent soon. Next day I tried to check up on the status and there was zero record of finish the claim. I had to call a 4th time to finalize everything.

Asurion - Your website doesn't work. Stop making me listen to 5 minutes of reminders to use the website when I have to call your phone service. I wouldn't call if I could do this online.

Terrible

Hello, so I got my phone from Asurion about a month ago, from the time I got it, the touch screen was having issues, meaning it would not unlock or respond to my touch on the screen, after a few days, it started working. Although, it has been on and off with the touch screen working, sometimes a few days at a time where I can not use the supposedly BRAND new phone they sent me, its absolutely stupid, for anybody reading this review, I recommend never using Asurion as your insurance provider, they are literally horrible as a provider. Buying a phone from a random homeless person would be more trustworthy.

Bought a new Samsung phone for 299
Bought a new Samsung phone for 299. Paid 70 for their warranty and while the phone wasn't working right away paid another 55 for "deductible".
A new phone broke and they give only 164 back!
Be warned!
They aren't nice to talk to on the phone either

Scam Phone Insurance

The company owed me a refund. That was 6 months ago. They indicated that no replacement phone was available additional costs applied to get another phone. I chose to take the replacement cost of about 200.00 that money never arrived.

First of all the process of filing a claim is designed to discourage the filing of claims. Unless you have electronic signature software you might give up filing the claim. After this hurdle you will endure more hurdles. They will review your claim (2 days) and have a technician call you. In my case, my element TV was not fixable. (another 2 days). Then after several contacts with a foreign agent, I was given a choice of 3 replacement TV's. Finally in frustration I was able to speak to a "supervision" in a foreign country. I gave him 2 days to get my replacement TV or I was filing a claim with the Attorney General. After another 2 days my replacement was delivered by Best Buy which is strange because the broken TV was purchased at Walmart. The replacement was just what I requested and it works. I learned the following: don't buy an Asurion/Walmart extended warranty; In filing a claim hang in there and finally if you are patient you may get a replacement TV. YOU WILL NOT GET A CHECK!

I purchased a Samsung 21. I went a vacation with my family and my phone got stolen, I was paying insurance on it. I did a claim and it got denied. I called back and they wouldn't tell me why it was denied. The only answered they had was to read the term and conditions.

AWFUL

This company is comically horrible. They took my phone for a "3-5" day repair. Week 2, I've heard nothing. I call in, they have 0 updates and offer to transfer me. They hang up on me.
5 or so days go by. They call me and ask me for my replacement phone, I ask where my phone is and tell them I'm not returning the replacement until I have my phone... I am transferred and I disconnect the call.
They call me a few days later and let me know my phone is irreparable. I ask the guy why and he puts me on hold for a few minutes and says "Good news, your phone is fixed and you should receive it within 48 hrs"
I argued that his statement vs his statement 5 minutes prior made no sense, but I wanted my phone. Last night I get a package... THEY SENT ME BACK MY BROKEN PHONE. I could go into more detail with their reasoning behind doing so, but it is the most illogical load of garbage you'll hear. Assurion, I hope you see this. You're crap. Your company, is also crap.

Never ever buy insurance with this company. I lost my phone one week ago and trying to claim my device replacement. This company provides false and misleading information to me and giving new excuses every time I call them as they don't want to give the claim. Very Very disappointing and $#*! company.

Fourteen days of haggling back-and-forth, eleven different associates and department managers, hopefully this plight is over. Not sure however, haven't received the phone I was promised, waiting on delivery. ADVICE to customers, DO NOT settle for a refurbished phone. Read the BBB complaints.
The refurbished phone have "glitches" and once you activate there's NO going back. No returning!
File a complaint with your State Corporation Commission, easy, they will have to answer to them!

I have five phone lines and a couple of computers and TVs insured with this company. When my phone screen cracked, I spent over 3 hours and five different phone calls trying to find out how to get my screen replaced. No one gave me an answer except to say that my phone was not insured, but another phone which I do not own is insured under this number. No explanation for that and no refund. No one could help me. I repeated the same story to many "customer support" personnel. They tried to sell me a new phone. They also attempted to sell me bundled insurance for all my electronic needs. Finally, I have to go to an outside source to get my screen replaced, and pay for it.
