The communication is terrible and they broke my sons tablet while fixing the screen and now refused to fix it or replace it. Constant bad communication with ubreakifix causing us to have issues for a month now.
Never using this company again. I ordered a replacement phone because mine got water damage and they sent me a sim locked phone so I couldn't set it up. Then when I called the company they had no idea what I was talking about and gave me little to no help. They said they were going to send me a new phone and it still hasn't come two days later. It's almost been a week with no phone because of them, next time I'll just buy a new phone.
Worst company ever for what they do. Can't get a phone to my door, don't understand their own processes. Cancelled a delivery not once but three times due to system 'issues'. Been 6 weeks and counting can't get a cracked screen fixed. It's pathetic. Will be cancelling once I suffer through their broken process.
Took off work to be home for my scheduled screen repair fix. No one showed. No one called. Two calls to customer service. Hours on the phone. No answer. Total rip off. I'm not paying for their "protection" anymore.
These people are the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with. My wife filed a claim for my phone online as I'm busy so much during the day. When she filed the claim she listed the phone as a Samsung Galaxy S20... when I actually owned a S20 ultra 5G. So needless to say they sent me the wrong phone. Not their fault... we put down the wrong phone, but I guess they don't check and insure that the phone is right on their end either. Either way all I wanted to do was get the new phone shipped out so I could send back the damaged one. After spending numerous 1/2 hour long wait times waiting to speak to someone, they assured me that it would be resolved. Both times I spoke with them, they assured me that it would be resolved and that I should hold on to the wrong replacement phone and send it back with the damaged phone when the new one was sent. They said that the new phone couldn't be sent out until a supervisor did a review of the case and as soon as it was approved they would send the new one out. They told me twice that the new phone could not be sent out until this was done and that I had to wait. In the mean time, I was being sent emails saying that if I did not return the phone, I would be charged a fee. I called back again and they assured me that I would not be charged and even if I was, they would refund me the amount. Well, I called them again today because I was charged the 300+ dollar fee and I wanted a refund. Now they are telling me that the claim was canceled and that they cannot refund me the money or my deductible because the time limit on the claim has expired. Needless to say I ended the conversation and told them I would be dealing with my provider to get this resolved. This company is beyond incompetent. I'm out close to 600 dollars and my phone is still screwed up. What do I pay insurance for. Apparently nothing...
Problem #1: I noticed that I had an asurion home devices charge on my cell bill. I did not ask for it nor authorize it. I called 4x and 2 months later it is still on my bill.
Problem #2 I went to replace my cell phone. Filled out form online, got replacement #1. Speaker and numerous other features not working upon arrival. Called numerous times, on hold 45min, 1.5hrs, 1.75hrs, tried to fill out online but after filling out form I was told 'You must call" :( #2 arrives and different problems-call-wait on phone-order #3. #3 functions but now they say its an Apple problem, not the previous "carrier problem". Never told it was asurion's problem. All this in 3 days. With each new phone I requested that instructions for set up/new phone and shut down/old were included in the box. "yes" Asurion said. Upon arrival the instructions said "call asurion"! By the way, the on hold message, repeated every maybe 30 seconds, the 1+hrs on hold is "we value your time..." LIARS! Worst customer service ever!
Only gave them 1 star because when I did talk to a human they were kind a tried to be helpful.
I have a project I have sent them twice for repairs. Both times it was sent back without repairs. Now they want me to send a third time. This is bad service provided by Asurion. This project is used by my church. We have gone over two month without a project due to Asurion's lack of service provided. I wouldn't recommend anyone to purchase Asurion warranty for your product. It was money wasted on my part hoping they would actually hold up their end. Asurion, horrible company.
DON'T ever buy a protection plan from Home Depo... This is the biggest rip off I have ever dept with. The company claims to be HOMEDEPO protection plan, however it is a company that is run from the Phillipines and is called Ascurion and even thou you "think" your appliances are protected, good luck in getting them to pay or replace your appliances. DONT waste your money! Please re-post I want to spread the word and put them out of bussiness

It's a total waste of money. They make it difficult to file a claim. Very hard to talk to an actual person. They are very quick to deny legitimate claims.
Totally regret paying for this for years only to have my first and only claim denied. Also the reason for denial (pictured below) is totally FALSE the device was covered.
I cracked my screen 4 days ago and asurion has not yet fixed it. The are only 2 places within 100 mile range and either they close at 5 or you have to be in by 5. For those who work normal hrs are out of luck. I guess you have to be unemployed to get your phone fixed. Can someone please recommend a better service?
I got hung up on TWICE! The first guy was mad when inasked if he could fix his phone so I didnt have to hear myself echo from his speaker phone. His doggs were barking in the backround then told me an asurion issue was a Verizon issue. NOT! The second girl got mad at me because she was getting comfused, copt an attitude with me and hung up on me. Your customer service completely sucks!
My phone fell and the glass broke. In order to file a claim with Asurion I paid $29 and wiped my phone clean as they require. I sent in my phone and after 1 week I received my phone back, without being repaired. No explanation, no refund. I called to find out why it wasn't repaired and they first said the back glass was cracked and they don't repair back glass. This was not true so I asked for a photo of what they saw. Then, they had another story… they said they wouldn't repair it because you couldn't open the screen due to the cracks. This is why I sent it for repair, obviously! Ridiculous. Don't waste your money on this insurance.
I have insurance on my Verizon phone through Asurion. I was in the ER about a week ago, and my screen got cracked somewhere along the way. I put in a claim to get it repaired (everything else works just fine), picked a time, received my confirmation... and waited. And waited. And then I called them, 15 minutes AFTER my scheduled 3 hour time slot had passed. Now, I understand that people get delayed and things happen; that is fine. However, I DON'T understand not getting a call or text (they obviously have my number!) to update me on what is going on and when I can expect them to show up. The customer service agent informed me that they have no way to know who the tech is, or get ahold of them or track them in any way. Really? That's the best job ever... no accountability? She asked if I wanted to cancel my appointment. No, I just want to know when someone will be coming. Sorry, can't tell you. OK, I'll wait some more. And wait. And wait. I went online; and the site told me to call the customer service number that already told me they can't help me. So I wait some more. Then after 2 1/2 hours, I called again. Same story. We can't help you, no one knows who the tech is, or what is going on, or if they are going to show up. So, I ask to speak to a manager or someone who CAN help me. Then I'm put on hold, she comes back to tell me that "someone" is looking into it, and will find out what's going on, and would I please hold. Been waiting all day, so why not. Well, guess what. It's been OVER AN HOUR that I've been on hold. Just for the record; my time frame for the repair was 11am-1pm, and it is now 4:47 pm and I'm STILL ON HOLD. And, no repair person has bothered to call, text, email me, or in any way reach out. This is rude, unprofessional, TERRIBLE business, and disrespectful of my time. Take your phone to an independent repair shop. Support the little guy, because this company clearly doesn't give a damn! If I could give ZERO STARS, I certainly would.

Their partnership with Verizon for the 'Total Home Protect" program has me seriously considering leaving Verizon for being in bed with such a fraudulent company. I've started 3 claims... so far ZERO have been solved in my favor. I have yet to receive my laptop back, they sent me the same broken remote I sent in, and they gave me the run around for the third item. And when you try to call and the cancel service to save the $25 a month they charge, they send you from department to department until you hang up.
Asurion is the biggest joke. Customer service sucks all the way up to the licences CEO adjuster. They blow smoke up your $#*! to get you off the phone. They f*** up and it becomes your problem. I made a claim 5 weeks ago, had 2 phones shipped that didnt work ( because of their mistake), 1 check sent in wrong name, 1 check never issued that they claim was missing and waiting on the 3rd check for 10 days and they say I need to be patient because they are back logged... really for 5 weeks. Such BS!
They denied my iPhone claim that i lost and offered no alternative. I am reporting them to the federal insurance commission for scamming consumers.
The biggest rip off sold by Verizon. Deductibles, "out of stock". I cancelled my claim, bit the bullet and went out and bought a new phone.

Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
