Don't expect ANYTHING for the premium you pay to have this insurance. IT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE. There employees are polite and courteous but have all the canned answered memorized to a "T". They obviously use the same answers all day long. I will say they must pay there employees well for them to stay.

I was told when I bought the policy that I just had to call for service but they make it very difficult. I told them my washer wasn't draining properly. I told them the brand and the model but they said I had to have the serial number which I cannot get because i am an older woman living alone and cannot pull the washer out. Their whole system is very complicated. Why can't I just call them to come out? Then I said, Just cancel my policy and I can't seem to navigate that either. I use a computer fairly often but I believe they make it intentionally difficult so you can just keep paying for nothing.

Avery the Tech did a superb fix on my S21 Ultra screen, I had cracks and had gone completely blacked out screen could not see any icons. On 2-14-2022 Avery was on time and professional and fix my cellphone in a timely fashion of 30 minutes flat. I am quite satisfied and plan to recommend Avery and Asurion tech team again Ubreakifix Asurion THANK YOU!

This warranty company has been an absolute 0 in resolving our refrigerator repair that has not been working for one month and counting. The only resolution came when we finally notified the business we bought the product from.

Worst ever experienced

Sent me a bugged up replacement phone. Everything i have is now jumbled. Accounts lost. Passwords changed services turning on by themselves. Thier web page is screwed up tuoer phone people are phony tech s. I could go on and on and on how pissed i am at this alledged insurance that semds out refurbished crap

Terrible/Horrible

Waited on phone for a co pay for an hour Han hung up. Noone answered to collect my info.
Called back next day made co payment but wait the repair cannot be preformed where we said it would be but rather go to DC or Gaithersburg MD to get it repaired.
No wait you said Sudley rd manassas 10 min from my house. So sorry for the confusion but that If I didn't want to go into the city and waste time I could pay 70$ more and have one sent.

Bait and switch made? Wased an 3hrs 21min with this farce of a company. Every conversation was an apology about their dropping the ball but cycled right around to paying 70$ already paid 29$ plus a undisclosed 1$ service fee.
Won't use this company in the future nor t-mobile if it uses inept service providers.

Included are some pictures of time wasted dealing with this company.

I ultimately asked for a refund so I could pay later and hopefully get a repair service in VA the same state where I purchased my device. Insted. Whole claim got pulled. Sure I'm gonna need to jump through hoops now. Thanks customer service for a terrible and clueless experiance. Asking me what location I would like to take it to is a real gem as well as I don't work for you no idea who and where your repairs are conducted stated this and got attitude.

Poor service

Asurion for Home Depot plan, had no trouble first 2 times filing claim. Now almost at end of contract, nothing but issues. Need paperwork that we bought item and plan. 2 weeks later and a trip to Home Depot to solve so we can get Tech here to fix. HD no longer uses Asurion, and I can see why. Every time you call in you go over the whole story again. They didn't understand the paperwork we sent so questioned and delayed service. Hope Tech comes Friday, 3 weeks later. Never buying this plan again.

I was cheated.

They replaced my broken Samsung QLED TV with a cheap imitation with a bad picture. I have called so many times and left on hold, was told someone would call but never called. This is the worst company ever and I am leaving Verizon

I contacted Verizon back in December of 2020 to see if they could help me resolve a power (battery?) issue with my Samsung Galaxy S3 smart watch. Verizon sent me to their "insurance" carrier Asurion with the premise that they would fix or replace any damaged electronic device in my house. All I had to do was wait out their 31-day delay before submitting a claim, which I did in February 2021. But, when I tried multiple times to submit an online claim, it was denied because I stated that the issue with my watch occurred when I first contacted Verizon. I then demanded to speak to a customer account manager and was told by him that, instead of going through the claims process, I could contact their small device repair outlet (aka: UbreakIfix) and he guaranteed me that they would be able to resolve my issue. I asked him "hypothetically" what if they can't repair the watch? He, again, guaranteed me that they would fix it. So, I call UbreakIFix as instructed only to be told that they in fact DO NOT repair smart watches.

Long story even longer, I'm cancelling my Asurion contract and will be contacting T-Mobile to get away from Verizon as well.

AWFUL and typical

Asurion is awful! That is being kind... worst customer service and will find every way to deny the claim. I was given an approval on my claim and an amount then they come back and deny it 2 days later. AVOID it is a gimmick. You will pay more in the premium then you will receive in payments.
TYPICAL WARRANTY COMPANY. AS BAD AS ANY HOME WARRANTY.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I've been signed up for the Asurion home+ insurance for about 4 months now. Within that time, I had some controllers of mine that broke, so I filed a claim. I assumed that since I had already paid $100 towards this, I would be entitled to a new controller. (yes I made sure that everything was within the requirements for this to be covered) I was told by multiple workers at Asurion that I would be able to get coverage as long as I fill out the claim. After filling in all of the information, I awaited an email as promised. This email never came, so I tried again, and again. All with the same outcome. So now here I am, angry that I wasted money to support a company that does nothing but provide false promises. Don't buy this, you're better off throwing your money on the street, at least then it wouldn't encourage companies like asurion.

Horrible

Don't waste your money, they reschedule every appointment they set up. Each reschedule is 2 weeks out. Over and over. I've had this plan for 5 years and I've been unhappy the entire time. I'm cancelling my plan with asurion. It would be cheaper and more convenient to just pay for a new screen out of pocket. Worst I Durance type plan I've ever had. If you sign up for this after seeing that they have 1.7% satisfied customers, you are asking for it. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I wish I could give zero stars.

Asurion Home + plus

Started service subscription with them February 2021. Went to file my first electronic claim with them in June 2021 for my little ones Nintendo Switch. I kept receiving emails stating my "Applications was incomplete " and needed to be reviewed. However, 6 months later (10 months service × $25.00 a month subscription = $250.00) I never hear back from them so I purchase a NEW Nintendo Switch for son (300.00) and attempt to cancel subscription. Service Rep convinces me to keep subscription and she would call me back in few days to follow up with claim and assist me with re-submitting. Welp, she never calls back and forms she did send me happen to be the SAME EXACT FORMS IVE FILLED OUT THE FIRST TIME... talk about wasting my time and money. I am not satisfied with their service and would recommend people due their research before committing to Asurion Home Plus.

I purchased the smart care Asurion plan for my phone, payed for about 12 months at $15 CAD/Month. I recently lost my cell phone, had to pay $200 for a replacement on a $500 phone, making the insurance more of a payment plan than anything. I had to order the phone to the hotel where I'm staying for work, 10 hours away from my home, I had been given an email stating it would take 1-2 business day and up to 10 in rural areas, and that the phone had shipped, however i had to spend 30 minutes on the phone to get a trackin number. 5 days later (after the weekend) I called Purolator to check the status and was informed that only a shipping label had been created and the package had not been dropped off to the courier. I spent hours on the phone to move the process along with customer service as the online account had been quite problematic and unhelpful; each time I'd get through I was told that I would recieve an email on the status but was also told that the package was shipped and delivered. In a day and a half I will be driving 10 hours home to return from a work shift, and my phone has not been shipped, it's already been 3 business days. If i had know the inconvenience of the insurance process i would have simple opted out and drove 2 hours to my providers nearest store and purchased a new phone. Now i have payed the company $380 waited almost a week, and I am still without a phone, needing to spend hours calling in to check the status, likely having to update the shipping address. All the while being without a work phone, something that I need in my line of work. Very unimpressed.

Poor service.

Replacement device which I received was not covered under warranty. They asked to choose the colour but received totally different colour which I didn't expect. Poor website performance could not know the status of the claim. Overall worst experience. Not recommended.

Not Worth It

I had to recently replace my note 20+ due to a accident. I drove to Verizon and since its insured through Asurian I would have to file a claim with them. Did it while I was at Verizon only to have to wait for about 20 min. On hold. Finally got someone only to be disconnected. The guy at Verizon got through to them for me. Relcieved the replacement phone Wednesday and today is Saturday. Haven't been able to get the phone to work. Endless hours and still no functioning phone. I'm burnt on this issue that wouldn't be happening if Asurian would have set the phone up like they are supposed to. Useless insurance and will only cost YOU time and money.

This is a scam

I filed a claim with AsurionHome and paid the deductible fee back in December. They tell me it can't be repaired, and have sent my file back to the vendor through whom I bought the plan. The vendor (Verizon) tells me it's not a phone, and not covered. I explained it is AsurionHOME, not phone. They tell me to call Asurion, which I did multiple times, and got placed on hold for over an hour twice, left my name and number twice, and went to their website to try that way 3 times, I want it either replaced, or the unrepairable ipad and my deposit returned to me. I have a claim number, but can't get anyone to respond. This company is a SCAM. I pay $25 monthly for the protection plan, so six months of paying, plus $60 deductible for the repair, I've already paid over $200 for a non-repair. WOW! Stupid ME!

Better not need your appliance anytime soon when you call for a repair under the Asurion warranty contract. Two days of online forms and phone calls finally getting the name of an appliance repair shop to find it would be 2 weeks before they could get out. No effort to speed up the process.
