Replaced cracked phone with refurbished phone. New phone lasted 2 months, stopped working. Took to APPLE they stated water damage and non apple branded parts. Most likely they refurbished a water damaged phone with only new battery. Then Asurion told me sorry out of warranty. So now I have to pay AGAIN for the POS refurbished phone they gave me.

Filed a claim for my refrigerator almost 10 days ago. They endorse to LG to find a service provider, then LG endorse to Service power and they haven't found a service provider. Now going back to LG to find provider. Basically they passing the ball around and expect me to wait patiently while my grandchildren can't understand why I have no milk to give them.

I don't know if this is same location and department who were in charge of performing service for me but I have to tell this about Asurion. We had a leak problem with our dishwasher. It was dripping, just few drops during a cycle. The guy who came did something to it and said it should be good. No it leaks like huge, so we can't use it. We had to create another claim with the manufacturer and they sent us to Asurion again. They made an appointment but no one showed up and didn't even call! Bad service, unprofessional technicians, disrespectful attitude. We have to use them because it's the manufacturer's choice. If I ever have to choose, I'll never deal with Asurion.

What's the point of paying for insurance? They are so concerned about the find my iPhone off when phone is damaged and destroyed yet when you even get Verizon on the phone to confirm they don't believe you.

I bought a used typewriter. I paid for the insurance ON A USED TYPEWRITER. Typewriter broke. They asked if the typewriter was used for personal use or business. I told them I bought for my home business. They denied the claim because the use was not exclusively for personal use. YET, they sold me the insurance ON THE PRODUCT that was advertised. "An IBM office typewriter". PEOPLE SUX.

ALERT!
Don't waste your money buying a plan from asurion.
I paid $70 for a 2 year plan for a cellphone and my screen got cracked so I filed a claim which they charged me $43 to do and then have me go to their repair shop for them to tell me that asurion is going to buy the phone back not fix it so I have to buy a new phone first so I can transfer everything over before I can turn my phone in for the refund which is nothing more then an Amazon gift card because that's where I bought the phone.
Complete ripoff in my opinion, there's better plans out there.
Don't waste your money because you'll only be frustrated if you ever need to file a claim.

This company is more of a pita then anything.
My husband's phone kept reading there was no Sim card and after going to us cellular and them helping us replace the Sim card and it not helping we had to go through this place. Once we finally got the all the info submitted we kept having to contact them as we were continuously receiving emails saying they needed more information. Mind you my husband is has a handicap when it comes to technology as well as him being in another state for work so I had to take over because he was done. I called, everything was submitted, the person told me it was approved, took the payment number and told me it was on back order because they no longer make the s21 smoke... uhm ok guess he will take the pink one. 3 to 4 days later I get another email saying they needed more information. I check our checking account and see if they pulled the $99 they were supposed to and they didn't so I called again, went through the process again, took the card number again and told me it needed to be approved and we would get an email we got the email 2 days later and then finally 2 days later he finally got the phone got all his stuff switched over to the new phone and sent it back. Now 3 days later again we get 2 letters in the mail saying that the request was denied because it "was not the covered property enrolled for coverage" uhm what? I'm not sure why US Cellular switched to this company but I think they made a mistake and we are very much not happy with it to say the least.

Horrible Company

This company is terrible. They offered me a job after several interviews and a drug screen a few years back during the pandemic. After about a week later they called me back and rescinded the job due to my background (I have a petty theft from 2014 and a simple possession of weed from 2011 that only show up on my record anymore because I do not have $3,000+ to pay off all the fines due to hard times living). Think what you want about these, but regardless of what it is it's been almost a decade and if you knew the circumstances for the petty theft it's ridiculous. Police bullying and DA conviction-monger.

Let me make clear, also, that I am college educated with a 4-year degree in IT. Exactly what they were needing, IT help.

Anyways, since then for the past two years they STILL PROCEED TO EMAIL/CALL ME ABOUT ONCE A WEEK OFFERING ME A JOB AGAIN. I have removed myself from this bs company's contact, but they PERSIST.

First of all, terrible decision on not hiring me as I am now/have been indispensable to my current job for over 2 years now. Second, STOP CALLING ME.

Stupid.

Lost my phone used their insurance to get a replacement. After spending and hour on phone with Verizon tech coach had to get transferred over to asurion. They said they sent me a wrong phone, or a crap phone never really got a straight answer. They said they would send a new one and I needed to send the crap one back they sent to me. All good until these jerk askes me for a credit card so if the phone doesn't show up, they will charge me $479. I told them no I am not giving them a card and if I go to the post office and get a receipt of mailing then they can take it up with the post office if it doesn't show up. He said the only way to ship me a new phone is if I give him a credit card. I called a new Verizon tech coach and because of him they may keep me as a Verizon customer. I asked if I can just take the one, they sent me to the VZ store and trade it in or buy out my contract and get T-Mobile and he said yes. So tomorrow I will do just that, and at this point I want nothing to do with asurion insurance. They are horrible, send you crap and then get mad at you for not wanting to somehow give them more money on someone else's screw-up!

Purchased a new top of the line fridg from Home Depot. Paid 295 bucks for the 5 year warranty. At the 2 year point we had an issue. Asurion sent 2 different Techs out. Neither had a clue. Messed up my fridg. We claimed $160 food loss (fridg temp went up to 55 degrees after second tech worked on it.)
I then did some research and successfully fixed the fridg myself.
Received an update from Asurion indicating they agreed to the claim. Thats it. Now it is impossible to contact anyone at Asurion.
YOU HAVE 2 CHOICES:
1. SET YOUR MONEY ON FIRE.
2. PURCHASE AN ASURION WARRANTY

Refrigerator/freezer: I purchased a Samsung refrigerator/freezer about 4 - 5 years ago for about $3000. I recently paid for the Asurion Appliance Plus insurance about 6 months ago. I had a problem with the ice maker (about 2 months ago) which Asurion refused to come see because "it was Samsung's problem and still under Samsung warrantee". It was not under Samsung warrantee any longer. I had to pay over 300 Bucks privately to get it fixed. Four weeks ago {now ice maker working fine}, I called Asurion because the refrigerator stopped getting cold (turned out to be the refrigerator fan stopped working), but Asurion said they had already rejected the claim to send someone to inspect because it was the same Refrigerator/Freezer unit (even though a completely different issue). That cost me another $365 for a professional to repair. I also lost $27-$29 in food which I had to ask neighbors to store for me, which eventually had to be thrown out, including: moldy fruit, moldy veggies, infant food, milk, and other stuff. Finally cancelled my Asurion Crap Insurance today. What a $#*!ty company! Definitely a SCAM.

I had a damaged phone, it would randomly turn off in the middle of usage. I claimed it under Asurion and they sent me another phone I think the same day. I get it out of the box and could tell it was a pre-owned phone. I turned it on and the screen had lime green lines running though it, it was not usable. I had to ship this one back, get another one that was once again damaged with cracked screen. I sent it back and they sent me another refurbished phone. Luckily this one worked for just over 1 year, then it turned off one day and never turned on again. Just terrible customer service, does not get any worse.

I have an Ipad cracked screen and I had to file a claim twice. Now filing my 3rd one. The first 2 were denied because of "The information on your claim does not match the contact information on your account"
However they just send you an email (which you cannot respond to) without the exact information not matching or without them trying to contact you and correct the information. So it's been now 11 days and still my Ipad isn't fixed and I have to waste more time calling them, explaining the whole situation and them telling me to file yet another claim... and them guessing if maybe a name was misspelled.
Really annoying. As soon as I fix this I am cancelling this stupid service. They eagerly charge me every month for more than a year but as soon as I file my 1sdt claim, this happens.

Worthless.

I bought a window air conditioner from walmart with extended 4 year warranty. I have the warranty paperwork and the email confirmation of delivery of the unit. These papers show what I bought it and when I bought it and where I bought it. It has the model number, order number, delivery date, and sales rep number. I have my credit card statement showing when I bought it and how much I paid. What else could they possibly need? I don't have an actual receipt so they won't honor the warranty. I contacted Walmart 3 times and they can't give a copy of the receipt.

I have a broken device and the local UBreakIFix has the part, but my only options are mail or home visit. Explained the situation to the reps and was told they had no control suggested phone replacement which would take as long as tech coming out. They are a scam agency who cares nothing about their customers. Do not accept the insurance option because it is a waste of money. Wish I had seen this site before trying to insure my devices. Definitely cancelling and possibly changing to a service that doesn't use them because they are a waste of time and money

A total scam.

I purchased two electric bicycles from $#*!'s Sporting Goods. Bicycles typically require maintenance, so I purchased an Asurion two-year protection plan for each bicycle. One of the bicycles had an issue with its brakes being very noisy. The other bicycle got a flat inner tube in its rear tire. Filing a claim required jumping through hoops to send images of: 1) the sales receipt for the protection plan, 2) the sales receipt for the bicycle, 3) the serial number plate of the bicycle, the front and back of the bicycle showing any damage or documenting the problem. Both claims were immediately denied, saying the issues were not covered by the protection plans. The plan brochures specifically mention coverage for defects in workmanship and materials and inner tube replacement. I will be cancelling both plans and seeking a refund. Don't be fooled. These plans are garbage.

Been doing battle with incompetent people for a month. Bought baseball sunglasses for my grandson. We filed claim and are still waiting. Every time I speak with them it's another issue
My grandson had to play baseball for another month without them. SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR INCOMPETENT TEAM MEMBERS BTW STILL WAITING SUBMITTED SAME DOCUMENTS THREE TIMES TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. SAVE YOUR MONEY

Gives you the go around

The replacement phone was suppose to be here Friday at 7-9pm and never showed no email or Conway made to let us know. Then was reorder Friday and was told it would arrive between 3-5pm, again to email or contact was made to let us know that wouldn't happen. Called to see where my phone was and they said it would arrive on Tuesday… so same day shipping turned into 5 days… when you pay $249 dollars for a replacement and it states it will be here on Friday and receive it until the next Tuesday at the earliest is not acceptable. And all they can say is sorry. This is not okay. They said well if your not happy you can go buy a replacement and we will reimburse you. L I have a iPhone 13 pro max. It cost around $1200 dollars. And the it could take 5-7 days for the reimbursement. You would think they would try to address the situation better and do right by there customer for the mess up/ wrong doings.
