Asurion is the worse company ever. My screen cracked and I have this worthless insurance with Asurion. Via their website, I scheduled a technician to come to my location to fix my cracked screen and paid my deductible. They provided a window between 11:00am and 1:00PM and in their typed instructions from the notification I received it states that the technician will call when they are on their way (see pics). I called Asurion at 12:05PM and asked the customer service rep if the technician was still coming, since I had not received a phone call and the customer service rep stated "yes they are still schedule to be there within the hour". Well at 1:05PM still no technician, so I called Asurion back and was then told by the customer service rep that they did not have a technician available to come to my location. Now where do you find the sense in that one? Why schedule a technician to come out if they don't have any available to come out. Did you not know your technicians schedules 2 days prior when I was scheduled for the service? No phone call or anything to even say the technician was not coming. Their service is total trash. Find another company that will provide you the service you deserve. We pay tooooo much for our phones to be treated like this and Verizon should be ashamed for using such a poor low class company.

Cancelled my applecare to move to insurance with Verizon. Device is damaged and they wont replace or repair it. The worst experience ever. Make you jump through hoops. Will never deal with this company again. Better off having no insurance.

Bunch of thieves

I bought a refrigerator on Home Depot and filled a claim, but after 3 months they can't fix it and now because they don't comply with the contract they said that the problem was created by me. What a joke. Now I have to loose my time going to an lawyer to resolve this.

Bad Repair Quality

We decided to go with Asurion's care because of a local business that is partnered with them. They told us all we had to do was sign up and bring the laptop in to the store. No... it was much more difficult. First of all, it look 2 week for our claim to be filed, before we found out it was denied. We had to call the customer service and explain to them the issue and why they cannot deny it. After an hour on the phone, we finally were able to start another claim, which took 7 days to finish processing. After that we were told that we had to mail the laptop in, instead of taking it to the store. That wasn't a problem. I will say, the only good thing about this repair was it only took about a week and a half to get it actually repaired [including shipping]. I just got the device back, and the quality is horrible. I got a screen replacement for my M1 Macbook Air. When I first got it out of the package, it was hard to open, and when I did open it there were fingerprints all over my screen. As well on the back of it, there was a permanent stamp from the displays company. The quality of the display is still somewhat the same, but I could tell a difference in it from the original one. The graphics of the display are not as high, and the brightness isn't the same. On the displays outer-edge, there is a small rubber layer to protect the screen when the laptop is closed. Just tying to open it causes damage to the rubber. At the bottom of the displays bessel, where it says "Macbook Air"- it also has scratches on it. When I close the macbook I hear a clicking sound, which is discomforting. I am overall extremely dissatisfied, due to the complexity and length of the repair, as well as the service and quality of my product. If you are looking to get a cheap repair, this is the way to do it. I would have rather paid in full for apple to get me a good quality repair. I use my macbook everyday and I keep it in prestine condition, and now that it has multiple flaws that were supposed to be fixed and not there, I am not happy. At this point, Asurion has almost caused the same amount of damage to my computer than it has good.

The repair I was told could easily be $50-$100+. The two outfits told me I could easily spend that much for a charging port replacement. The technician at the Spring Hill Addition store cleaned the charge port in three minutes and sent me on my way. The young fellow could have soaked me for who knows how much money, no he did the right thing for me.

Unprofessional

I made a claim for my phone back in March. They brought me a new phone, but come to find out it was not going to work because it was not sane as my samsung note which has a pen to write and sign contracts. I called back and we agreed I was going to buy the right phone and send the receipt in. They also sent me the envelopes in which ti send both phones back and I was supposed to receive my refund for $1140. I complied with all of the above. Its been 3month still no money and after several frustrating conversations still no solution. Today they gave me a tracking number that was to a FedEx back in April 1st. They are playing games with me. Changing their story every time.

Have insurance thru bell, got my iPhone xr replace no problems other than it taking 3 to 5 business days, not a big deal. Got the new phone and set it up, i did notice a small spec of dirt in the lens for the camera not a big deal for me. When i had the phone in my pocket i could feel the screen pushing in and out from the frame, didint think much of it. Till a day i dropped it in the case and the screen came away from the frame with the screws still in the frame.

No visible damage other than the screen would not work at all.
I phoned asurion and made a affidavit which they want printed off and a photo taken with your ID, (dont know how you can do that without a phone that works or a printer) got that all done, they did not contact me for more than 24 hours i had to phone them several times and chase them around to figure out what was going on. After that it took nearly a month to get a replacement for the replacement. Now a month and a half later with the new phone im pretty sure the battery is shot, it will crash if it has any kind of heat or flexing if its in my pocket in the sun (20 degree C weather) and wont show anything on the screen till u plug it in and had to hard boot it a few times as the screen wont respond for any touching on the screen. Sometimes the battery light will come on to show low battery when its at 80%.

I will see if they handle themselves better this time after telling them i am recording them.

I bought a pair of headphones from guitar center.
Ausrion was HIGHLY recommended stating "that this would expand my protection."
This was just the start of the lies. Remember the word KICKBACK?
Well, welcome to guitar center, where the fraud started. Once the headphones fell apart (14 Months after purchase), guitar center said, "you have to call ausrion, and that they will handle the complaint".
Right then and there, I knew that this was going to be a losing battle.
This is not what I was told when I purchase the headphones. What was really said was, "just bring it back, and we'll replace it, free of charge".
After one year, the jbl's fell apart (another sorry company, and the 3rd one in this William Shakespeare tragedy, if you are keeping track).
I fought with ausrion from February 2022 until June 22 2022, when they promptly denied my claim.
So from the beginning ……
First LIE... jbl, just pick a reason.
Second LIE ………...…. Guitar center said "just bring it back, and we'll replace it." No they didn't or don't.
Third LIE... asurion said "we never received the photos of the product in question."
Forth LIE …... asurion said, "the guarantee paper-work was not attached."
Fifth LIE ……………. Asurion said, "due to my lack of response, this case was closed." NO EMAIL(S) CAME TO ME AS THEY HAD STATED.
I should have reviewed this site prior to purchase.
ALL 3 Companies were at fault, and each denied responsibility.
Stay far away from ausrion, guitar center, and jbl (a poorly made product).
Tell your family, your friends, and the Pope.
I hope this helps someone prior to purchase.

Won't Pay The Claim

The company will not pay a simple claim for my Playstation with no explanation. Two years of payments and when I needed them they wouldn't pay a $200 repair. Its a ripoff

Horrible

Extremely disappointed. Spent an hour and a half on the phone with them to file a claim for an iPhone 10 that wouldn't turn on, received an email with a claim number and a receipt, and was waiting for a phone to be delivered the next day by 8 pm. The "certified like new" phone never arrived and when I called to track the status, they informed me they didn't have any current claims open for me. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with a customer service rep who I could barely hear and when I called back today, they disconnected me when transferring and hung up on me 3 times. I've paid $50 a month for 17 years and when you need insurance for your phone, they do not help you. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, it is not worth the money, headache, or hassle.

Over months keep receiving emails for asking the phone I posted months ago- asking for $710 admin fee, $650 for the phone. No contact phone to call, only email. Go figure. This drove me so mad.

This particular Phone insurance is a joke! It's all false advertisements. I actually can't believe they still are telling the same lies. Short version. 3 months to get my replacement phone, rude customer service, told different excuses when I called, and finally took me emailing ceo of samsung to get some action. Pretty pathetic company!

My sons iPad was damaged and I made a claim. Now the business who was going to fix it and the man I presented the claim to both said yes it would be covered. Well I received a denial, and I disputed it with the claims dept and escalations dept. with no help might I ad. So I asked them why do ppl get insurance if not to fix something that gets broken. I canceled my insurance and will just put the money I was giving them every month up to pay for accidents… at least I know it will be fixed that way. Sherri ( very unsatisfied ex customer)

On 7/7/21 I went to tractor Supply here in las vegas and returned 2 smaller Porto cool 140 purchased the day prior and traded them in for a larger Porto Cool 160 i decided to purchase the $319.99 2 year service agreement on that unit as was suggested by the check out gal megan. I figured i would never use it as these units are built like tanks but decided to get it. Fast forward to 6/13/22 the fan on the unit doesnt operate and the pump is sputtering. I call in to utilize the service contract and they initially tell me it is approved and they will have a service repair person contact me within 2 days to service my unit. Then on 6/14/22 i receive and email stating the claim is denied. I call in again and tell them that this is absurd as you can clearly see the receipt that shows the unit i purchased and the service agreement in place for such unit and they resubmitted the claim and i just received another denial email. I spoke to a supervisor just a moment ago named Roxanne and she advised me there is nothing they can do I can attempt to call back tomorrow and ask to speak to a claims review department. Long story short we use these at our house to cool off our horses when the heat gets unbearable outside and with this being out of commission they are putting my horses in danger. Really sad to have an insurance company who was paid good money refuse to do what they were paid to do. This company is appalling and needs to be reported to a class action attorney who will set them straight and get us all justice.

No service

I took my Samsung S21 ultra in for service at the store in Lake Worth Texas. A circuit board inside was bad and would not allow fast charging and the back glass was cracked. They got took my name phone info and phone number and said he would get back with me about ordering parts 6 days ago and I have never heard anything since that day.
Not a good way to run a service oriented business. Sorry to write such a negative review but I was a contractor for 40 years and I very well understand customer service and I received none.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!

I purchased an ASURION phone protection plan for my son's iPhone on 11/28/21 with 2 years' worth of coverage. He had an accident with it, so I filed a claim on 4/27/22. They say once the phone is received it will be 3 business days for an answer. I shipped out his phone THAT SAME DAY. One month went by and I STILL hadn't heard anything. Finally, I message them to see what was taking so long. AGAIN, they tell me I would hear something within 3 days. One week later, 6/2/22, I still hadn't heard anything, so I message them again. This time they could see I already contacted them and again promised I would hear within 3 days. The next day, 6/3/22, I received an email saying "We're emailing you a gift card. Look for it in a separate email in the next 24-72 hours. ". This is what I was emailed on 6/4/22: "We've reviewed your claim and approved it. Your fulfillment is on its way. We'll email you a gift card for $***. Your gift card will arrive within 24-72 hours.". On 6/6/22 I was emailed this: "We have attempted to contact you twice today on your phone number ending in **** but only reached your Voicemail. Please contact us back at *******924 for the re-processing of your Service Fee Payment." I call back and speak with someone and give them my cc number again. THEN, on 6/9/22 I receive THIS email: "We're reviewing the details you shared. We'll get back to you within 3 business days about next steps." AND ANOTHER PHONE CALL for the EXACT SAME REASON saying my fee wasn't processing! I explained my frustration to a man who said it had to go to an exiting team? They were the only ones who know why this keeps happening. He called me today and basically told me he has NO NEWS still! He told me this exiting team conveniently has NO PHONES in their department. Now I know BS when I hear it, and this is straight up BS! At this point I feel like I am being LIED to and given the RUN AROUND! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T PURCHASE FROM THIS DISHONEST COMPANY WHO WILL GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND.

They make it impossible to submit claim

Their business model is to make it near impossible to file a claim. You end up paying for many months just "waiting" to get it fixed. Many times I received "claim denied" even though it was specifically covered. While you're waiting, you're still paying. Its a deceitful model. Just buy a new product...
