Using the app was great! It was easy and efficient. However, the deductible was high.
Though I would like to see lower deductibles, overall I would say that Asurion kept their end of the bargain, and they had a replacement phone in my hands the following day.
Though I'm sure the replacement is a refurbished phone, one would be hard pressed to find a flaw.

Fairly easy except for locating the serial number and model # because it rubbed off.
They suck at providing claim. They make the process so hard that you will not be able to file claim.
They verify the plan information and my identification.
First they said talk to seller / manufacturer as it might have warranty. Upon checking with seller there is no warranty.
Then they asked me asurion plan receipt, item order receipt, and pic of item itself from front and back with serial number. I provided everything but back of the light picture. This is for solar lights And there is no danm serial number on these $35 solar lights. Paid $6 for plan to cover $35 purchase.
I had a scheduled repair for my dishwasher from 1-5pm. After waiting until 4:30pm I decided to call and they told me that no one was coming and to call the manufacturer. No wonder they average 1star.

I put my claim very easy by 10:00pm online. They gave me a new phone the next day was very fast. I really recommend it.
They were not guaranteed. Old, refurbished garbage sent to customers

So far, all the steps for filing a claim have been easy. I still have to send the defective part back and I assume a new one will be sent back.
I have used Asurion for several years and protect most of my electronic products with them. I have had several claims and they have always been repaired or paid quickly, without any questions. These have ranged from $20 earbuds to laptop computers.
They just try to get your money, but when you need them to come out and fix the appliances, they would give reasons to deny your claims.

Gloves tore after 3 months, submitted a claim and they said I'll be getting my refund.
Called after having their home protection plan for 8 months to finally use it for a malfunctioning keyboard on my iPad Pro and after being told they would help me on the phone for over an hour getting the model number etc. they transferred me to a tech that told me no it's not covered because it's considered an accessory of the iPad. They do not have a clear procedure nor does it seem like they are all even following the same protocol. What's the point of having home coverage if I already have individual device coverage and they are telling me home protection won't cover if it's not a "device". When the first 2 reps said yes that they do cover it and it will be replaced

I have now made 14 phone calls, and spoke to over 11 different people, including a supervisor, trying to remove a Home+ plan that was added WITHOUT my permission or knowledge to my at&t bill. Seven times I was told it was cancelled. The supervisor apologized. Today? My bill is at $200 and there is multiple fraud charges I did not approve. Yet Everytime I call, they still try to sell me more stuff while in literally screaming no at this point, flat told them I don't even have the money even if I wanted the plans, they do not care. No matter how many times you call they will not cancel the fraud charges THEY made. Most unprofessional, fraudulent, uncaring con artist "company" I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I would literally bust all my devices with a hammer before I signed up for ANYTHING with Asurion again. RUN!

This product has been so supportive to changes needed, technical assistance, and even needing to repair or replace for the products that I have covered.
I had a Fender Guitar Amp that I accidentally dropped. I was unable to use the amp after the incident. I filed a claim on Sunday and on Wednesday of the same week, I received a phone call that I would get a gift certificate for the full amount of the cost of the amp. Approximately 15 minutes later, I received the gift card by email for the full amount. I can only say that based on this experience, I would highly recommend this company.
They made it easy for me to process a claim for a replacement phone. Super easy. With the high cost of phones, having their insurance was great. They shipped my replacement phone within 24 hours. No hassle, no excuses.
So nice to have piece of mind that if anything happens to my devices I am covered!
Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
