After my son lost his phone we panicked thinking about how much it cost us and now we would have to pay for a replacement. Then we realized that we had purchased Assurion insurance. I placed a claim and received the new phone in less than 2 days. Amazing value. No questions asked by the company. I was expecting to be interrogated or some kind of push back but no, it was quick and fast. I'm still in disbelief as to how awesome this company is.
4 years ago we purchased 3 major appliances with service plans ($195- for each one) from Home Depot ONLINE. Our fridge has died recently and when we contacted Asurion to schedule service that person said he had the receipt and should receive a service call within 4 hours, NO call. We called back and got hung up on. Called again and they said Customer service was closed but we should get a call by 10am, NO call. We contacted the person that had emailed me and they were looking for a Receipt and wouldn't accept the only receipt Home Depot gives you for an online orders. In between we contacted Home Depot, both corporate and store level and they said that is the ONLY receipt Online purchasers get. After spending several HOURS, Missing work, losing everything in our Fridge we called your Customer service people again asking for a Supervisor and low and behold BAM that person was ready to schedule a service appointment for us BUT it's a few days out. (We actually have to wait a WEEK to get fridge looked at, a FRIDGE, not like you need a fridge or anything). This entire experience has been a NIGHTMARE. Any information you guys need should be taken at TIME OF PURCHASE, NOT after when people are desperate for service. I will NEVER buy an extended plan from these people again. And I'm seriously consideing filing a law suit for the pain and suffering this has caused us with the numerous phone calls and countless emails. Just a complete HASSLE from beginning to end. Completely UNACCEPTABLE

I had 2 phones that unfortunately cracked when dropped in 2 weeks' time. Asurion was easy to set up replacement and prompt getting replacements to me.
Initially filed a claim to replace my iPhone screen and battery at same time, but there must have been a mistake on my part causing this claim to authorize a screen replacement only. No big deal. Had the screen replaced just fine. Afterwards, the phone repair store associate told me he closed this claim thus allowing me to file a new claim for the battery replacement, which is where the issues begin to arise.
The day after my screen replacement, I attempted to file the new claim online as I did the first time, yet the website stated that my first claim was still open. I decided to wait to give it another extra day before trying again, but resulted in the same outcome.
Long story short, I ended up spending close to 2 weeks calling back and forth on the customer service line as well as visit the repair store once more to reconfirm that the first claim was closed. The store associate confirmed it was closed, but on Asurion's side, no one seemed to have a straight answer as to why it was still marked as an "open claim" despite me saying repeatedly that my phone screen was already replaced successfully. During one of the final phone calls lasting over 45 minutes and 4 annoying transfers, the call dropped and I had wasted those 45 minutes for nothing.
I finally reached my breaking point, gave up all hope of reaching a resolution from Asurion, and went straight to Apple to have my battery replaced. Ended up spending $70 out of pocket and a total of 2 hours of my day to have this done. If you ask me, 2 hours is much more reasonable than 2 WEEKS of no results. For this reason, I am cancelling my insurance plan with Asurion as soon as possible. Asurion, I hope you continue to enjoy tormenting and wasting other customers' time with your ridiculous service. I sincerely regret having signed up for this service in 2019.

When calling customer service it was very easy to get the answers i needed and fillin out the application for a claim was easy!
I stopped in to a local Verizon store on a Thursday evening because my son dropped his Gizmo and the screen shattered. The clerk gave me detailed instructions on how to order a replacement; I went online that same night to do so, and the replacement arrived in less than 24 hours! By 1:00 the next afternoon. I have not yet set it up, though.
I filed a claim at 7.36 and had a gift card shipped by 7.39, literally 4 minutes.
I have been dealing with square trade for a month with a similar plan, anytime asurion is an option I will choose it. And suggest others do as well.

Lost my phone having Apple care. Asurion took 11 days just to confirm it's been shipped. Still no tracking number. Had to call five times to ask for status and move insurance request forward … because that email to click "ok" and get replacement phone delivered … never received. Frustrating. Slow. Bad service. All words but no action. Awful really. With a bit of luck I'll have my replacement phone two weeks from reporting it lost. And that's if I'm lucky!

I filed a claim with them and within the next week I received my replacement with all the accessories I needed and more. Even received a convenient way to ship the broken one back. Very happy with the whole process.
Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
