Picked phone up mid day Monday (so far so good)

I received a message from old provider Straight Talk that the movement of number is approved

Now midday Tuesday with no service, no text message. Talked to an Asurion rep named 'Christian' who seemed to know what he was talking about but when checking website for Verizon porting received a message that I would receive a text message when ready/
Now 8:00 at night. Spoke with a village idiot named Jaison. He could not find an account with that phone number...I provided order number and account number. He then suggested I call an 800 number to confirm transfer...how can I do that with no working phone I asked. He then suggested (now 8:15) that I use a website he provided to find a Verizon store! When I informed him no stores were open he had no further solution. Now VERIZON...is this really the best you can do. At least on Straight Talk I could talk to a human (probably in India or the Philipines) and I good always get an answer to a problem. I never thought in a million years I would have worse service from Verizon than Straight Talk...great confidence builder!
I have never had to file a claim before, customer service was very helpful and walked me through the steps to place claim online. Online claim was very simple with quick response time.
I was very appreciative of the straight forward steps and feel like the process could not have gone smoother.

Asurion info and proper computer generated info needs to be accurate prior to being sent out however. I changed my credit card number after my account closed(sigh); I re--signed up and new confirmation email still showed my Old previous credit card # to be billed for future payments. I had to go through Customer Care ONLINE to ensure that really Wasn't the case. Online via Customer Care it showed in my account the new credit card...just the New confirmation email showing RE-SIGNING UP for services had wrong info!
Just a heads up...double check to ensure over phone or online that they DO actually have new pertinent information. The person I worked with named Ibrahim was very professional,polite,professional,, courteous and even used appropriate memes during conversation of uplifting words behind it when sending information back to him in appreciation. I was able to give him all information as he asked and situation was fixed and ensured me proper credit card was indeed showing on their end and that card would indeed be used for future payments! Not one resentment about using Online Customer Care with Ibrahim! Way to go!.(filled in of course).

I had a reimbursement from a product go missing. Definately my fault for not reading my text properly. Customer service rep made it all right. I've had to use their service for several devices. Always fast and easy to deal with.
I was promised $23, same day screen replacement and instead they forced me to purchase a $300 refurbished phone instead because noone in Indiana apparently does screen repair?! I literally tried ALL the zip codes, and nope. Only option was to send them my brand new $1800 phone and I get a BS refurbished that I am willing to bet is going to need replaced too! Don't do it! They will rip you off.

Each time I had to call into customer care, the wait times were very short, and each agent was extremely polite and to the point and thorough. Also, given my circumstances in needing a replacement phone, each agent was perfectly sympathetic and understanding. The friendliness and professionalism was *******% consistent between each agent. Our oven went out on Christmas Day. We made an inquiry by internet and were sent a phone number to call. Once we called the number, the man came to repair the oven the next day. We were very pleased with the service and the repair.

FOR A WHILE I FELT LIKE I WAS GETTING THE TYPICAL INSURANCE COMPANY RUN AROUND. SO I SENT A COMPLAINT LETTER TO ASSURION AND HOME DEPOT. THAT DID THE TRICK, AND THEY DECIDED TO MAKE A BETTER EFFORT.
THE LATEST TECHNICIAN OF THREE HAD THE AGE AND EXPERIENCE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT WAS NEEDED TO FIX OUR KITCHENAID DISHWASHER. THAT IS MOST LIKELY BECAUSE HE HAS ONE HIMSELF. HE KNEW ABOUT DISHWASHER CLEANERS, AND RUNNING LONGER HOTTER CYCLES. HE ALSO POINTED OUT A SUPER HOT WATER FEATURE ON OUR MACHINE THAT I WAS NOT AWARE OF.
OVERALL, I HAVE TO GIVE ASSURION CREDIT FOR KEEPING AT IT UNTIL THEY GOT IT RIGHT.
Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
