I contacted the customer service department because I received an email stating that they were unable to process my payment. Also, as to why I was unable to open my account while I tried to set it up.
The agent (John) that I spoke with was very helpful, patient and kind. He informed me that a payment had been made on my account. Now, I'm not understanding why I received that email, but none the less it was an error.
However, I never received an answer or help as to why I'm having trouble opening my account.

You be crazy not to have Asurion not take care of you! You have some many electronics in your homes and it's not if it's when something happens to them they will get it fixed or replaced!
Always good sometimes though there's the representatives that still try getting my pin number but I don't give it to them because when I got this phone, the clerk that helped me told me that day don't ever give my pin number to anyone who ask for it, so I choose not to be a used and robbed like that from anyone

Hey when you talk to someone at asurion, you're talking to a real live person that can understand your situation and get you back on track. Quick like too! Very nice, patient, observant and very understanding. I had a question about my receipt because I took a picture of it like I was supposed to and texted it to the number I was supposed to. Then realized I had two receipts and thought maybe I took a picture of the wrong one. Marigold quickly got on the chat and immediately got me on track and helped me out. Real live person too. Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
