It has been a frustrating five months trying to get Asurion to credit my Consumer Cellular account for my two cell phone trade-ins since March 2024. I filed a BBB complaint on June 24,2024, after three attempts in June with Consumer Cellular and Asurion to credit my account. Asurion stated that they applied credit for both phones even though the records showed only one credit was applied for the first phone. Consumer Cellular management tried repeatedly to contact Asurion management but to no avail. Asurion could not provide any proof or transaction tracking number for Consumer Cellular, BBB, or me. It will take another nine more attempts and mid-August before Asurion (VW from Asurion Regulatory Complaints) applied the credit for the second phone. VW refused to apologize for not being truthful, misleading BBB, and failing to apply the credit. Consumer Cellular apologized and said that the management failed to fix a simple task, especially Asurion's mistake in March and June when Asurion used the same code twice (IME) from the first phone credit causing a duplication in the system. Lesson learned from this terrible experience was that Asurion management (VW) was arrogant, lazy, and doesn't accept responsibility for their mistakes.
Do not purchase Assurion technical support for your devices. The techs are not skilled, and they attempt to charge you for items that should be free. In my case, a tech just tried to charge me $120 to update the firmware on my 2-month-old printer that I purchased new for $79.99. Previously, a tech from Assurion told me that printers won't operate on 5G wifi. STAY FAR FROM THIS SCAM SERVICE!

Never have I experienced a better feeling when leaving a repair. The appointment was seeming less along with the speed, knowledge and expertise in which Tyler shown during my visit.

From the customer service agent who took my call and walked me through the process WHILE I was on the phone, to the asurion agent at ubreakifix where my phone was repaired, I've never seen service and a resolution so fast. If I ever talked smack about at&t I'm so sorry, I'm impressed.
Never done this before. Called store in my area. Was given information to go on line for claim. Placed order on line with time and date that was good for me...guy showed up, fixed phone, and in was so easy.however I did get an email later saying " thanks for signing up for a 25 dollar a month something that I didn't sign up for. So ill have to check into that and have it removed.but over all very satisfied.
The young lady I spoke with was extremely professional, patient and very helpful throughout my entire experience. Yall need to give her a raise and have her train new hires! Amazing example to lead by.

Broke my screen. Filed the reporting they got back in touch super fast. The tech came to me the very next day and fixed my screen in under 20 minutes! I love that they can come to you now for some issues and fix it. The tech was kind, knowledgeable, friend, and fixed it quick!
It seems the primary goal of this company is to collect premiums and then make it next to impossible to make a claim and get the promised protection. My policy covers battery health and by the company's own description, my phone was eligible for a replacement battery. In trying to file a claim online, I was only offered a replacement phone for a cost of $225. So I had to call customer service and it took over 30 minutes to complete the claim. When I got confirmation of repair, I was also notified that the repair may include non-original manufacturer parts. I've cancelled my insurance and will simply bank the savings to handle any future repairs. Do not waste your money on a policy with this company.

Tech took care of the issue in a timely manner and was very knowledgeable.
Mobile repair for screen crack came to me. Called ahead of time to let me know when, was on time, and done in 20 mins. HUGE timesaver for me!

Asurion business motto must be to lie and deceive client. And they are doing a outstanding job. I have been put through the run around for three day. Each day sitting and waiting all day to receive a claim I paid for, only to receive nothing. I call the customer service and they supply me with false information to conceal their Incompetence. Their lack of respect for customers is un acceptable. Or maybe the phone companies are to blame.

Answer: Asurion insurance is who: Cricket Wireless, Verizon, & most remaining cell phone companies are with now! Just be careful b/c they are IMO SCAMMERS that will get you at one time or another!
Answer: Well, when that happened to me they sent me their IMO SPYWARE phone by the next day. I think it was like twenty-five days for my phone! I hope you kept your charger, case, & took the cards out of your phone first!
