Firstly, It is slow, resets my data every 24 hours, shuts my phone off randomly and turns back on weeks later, and won't even let me take pictures. And also the cameras are horrible, like my house is very bright and it makes it look dark. And when I didn't even download or take one picture, it said I have no storage. I know have a IPhone 6, which is **************000x better than this worthless piece of junk.

Worst Phones Eve

Even after 10 years I get a phone that needs to be replaced every couple months.
And Data is problematic. AND EXPENSIVE?
Why not offer unlimited data for 15 month?
Going Mint Mobile?

Assurance Wireless is a total joke! These government phones word for the needy to be able to make phone calls in emergency situations just to find out when am I actually emergency happens they cannot report it because of the constant problems Assurance Wireless has with their service customer service and phones! I have some myself having one of these Assurance government phones and did not realize how much of a problem I was going to have just on a normal daily basis it wasn't until there was an emergency a serious emergency and I go to call 911 and cannot do so because of these problems unfortunately not only myself but to other people also had these Assurance government phones that coincidentally had problems or issues during this emergency what do you do an emergency where you need to call 911 for an ambulance and the phone that was given to you based on the principal that the phone was for the needy to make an emergency phone call just to find out you are not able to do so because of the poor service of the provider it was such an emergency not the person could have passed away due to the fact of these issues with Assurance Wireless

Frauds

Who are you really? Assurance Wireless? Virgin Mobile, T-Mobile, Sprint. You change the names of your Company like I change my underwear. The Internet has not works on my phone for the last 4 weekends. It would not even connect to my Wi-Fi. Let me go further continues dropped phone calls and you have to keep calling back, phone shuts down in the middle of your conversation or can you hear me. Can you hear me, static on the line, sometimes it even sounds like a CB radio. They say they will answer your call in 30 seconds ok they did but why did you have me waiting for 38 mins and 34 sec so I decided to call them on another phone to ask to speak to a Supervisor the customer agent was very reluctant to help. So I explain that I was holding on the other line for just about 40 minutes so the 2nd agent puts me on pause for another 20 minutes then can back and said that her advisor was in a meeting I guest she tipped off her colleague now the colleague finally comes to the phone so I asked her why was I on hold so long she refuse to answer me now she is trying to talk over me all I said you could of been more considerate and keep me posted on the progress. Now she was intimated by my professionalism and made false allegation against me saying that she can discontinue the call if I use profanity I said the customer is always right and I am not using any profanity then I asked are you sick or are you crazy then I said I will sue your company then I hanged up.

I just got another phone and surprise this one don't work either I'm sick and tried of assurance wireless why send out phones if they don't work if i could give them no stars i would don't get a phone from them cause it will not work abd they don't know what they are doing

What a Waste of Time!

With lots of patience and time spent on learning how to use this free phone, I must honest tell you our CA state legislators have completely failed us by wasting our tax dollars on buying and distributing this useless phone.

I signed up for this phone received the phone sent a few text and made 3 calls. When I needed to charge this new phone it would not charge. Called for a replacement non this brand new account and I'm still waiting. Asked 20th of January for the replacement since it won't charge and it's a new account, the car didn't do the order as she said so now I've called again 3 to 5 more days. Thankful I didn't have an emergency. Check reviews before choosing this.

I talked to 7 or 8 different CSRs, getting worse every time, can't even solve my problems. The free phone broken in no time, bought my own phone, it worked for a while then SIM stop working with error code, called CSR, they gave several different codes, none of them working, finally they said Assurance SIM doesn't work with different phones (but it was working fine with my own phone for awhile)

The Absolute Worst

Most of the phones are defective. Always having to get a replacement phone. Customer Service comes mostly from the Philippines, and although most of the agents are nice, it's hard to understand them because of the accent, so calls take much longer. Some will hang up in you and not call back even if you gave them a callback number, though a very, very few will call back.

My original phone was locked and could not be used. Spent all of an afternoon wading through one representative after another, some of whose English was difficult to undeerstand. I was told another phone would be sent. Two weeks later the phone had not arrived and when I called and waded through more representatives was told the 2nd phone had not been ordered and the 2nd one would be sent, It never was and I called a third time and had to talk again and explain all over again. DO NOT USE this company!

You can barely Answer the phone in time before person calling you hangs up because of the Bombardment of Advertisements ALL OVER YOUR PHONE that you have to try to close or swipe out of the way just to answer the phone or make a call. And this is if the phone is not Frozen from all the advertising or not Over heated and you have to keep restarting the phone for hours on end just to make ONE call. When you report the issues they could careless and Require money to Replace the malfunctioning that they screwed you with when all the while they are receiving our hard earned tax dollars in subsidies from the government for providing a crappie non existent service!#!
Call & Write your Governors & Attorney General for your area so we all can obtain an Actual Service instead of a Full on SCAM.

Can't use device

I can't even use the device because as soon as I log into the google account which it forces you to login to google when you set up the phone then it gets stuck on "phone is starting" screen. I tried factory resetting the device then reset up the phone and it does the same thing. So I can't even use any service on this device and they have sent me two devices that have done the same thing.

I have an O'BUMMER free phone. Great wright. NOPE. Cheap 25$ china crap. 3 gigs of free data. 5$ a gig if you want buy. I have to go OUTSIDE to make a call. Cell tower is 1.8 miles away! FUGETABOUTIT customer service. Not hapnin... I give one star for "FREE" service.
