Worst company ever
April 5, 2022

They lie to you about everything, was told I was getting a better phone a 5G compatible with either 32or 64GB storage. And what they are sending after a month is a crappy uni 16GB and not a 5G comparable phone. I was told if I left my service go for 90 days then reapply then I could get a moto g pure 32gb phone. They blame everything on their back office (which doesn't exist) all you get is a call center in the Philippines and a communication barrier cause they have no idea what you are talking about. Stay clear if this company if you want a phone that does work, takes long to ship, is not usable in a few months and lies told to you. Then this is the company to go with

They give out nice decent phones but the coverage
is horrible i get coverage no more than one mile
in all directions from my zip code. That's for calls
and data. Also it takes like 15 minutes to download
one app no joke. If you are house bound with
wifi its a nice device to play on but for real world
needs it's a joke oh yeahh... lol when i called
at one time to ask why the coverage was so bad
the tech told me i wasn t close enough to one of
their tower s... which was 3 blocks away... he said
if i felt entitled to the '''' nice coverage i had to go
stand under the large tower and earn my
privilege that was awesome

I give assurance 3 starts well 1st off because heck it's unlimited talk text and data for how much!?
RIGHT $ 0 SMACKAROOS
The phone does suck for sure and one of the worst features other than getting the arrow in a circle on almost all the pages I ever look up is the stupid screen you have to touch and hold Every single time you use the phone. Btw I have the Moto G Pure which was supposed to be a new phone well I disagree it's not new if so its definitely an error phone and need no love to have a different phone. Hard as hell to even make a call it text let alone look something up! Good luck folks

Assurance support
April 2, 2022

My God could I just get somebody on the line that doesn't have such broken English? PLEASE! I'm normally very patient and understanding but after five calls today I couldn't be more frustrated or more eager to get off the damn phone. Five different representatives and each one of them had very hard to understand broken English. They did a great job they did their job well but their English needs some work so that everything doesn't have to be repeated two or three times. Nobody likes to make these phone calls anyways so it's a real pain in the $#*! when it has to be so frustrating.

Absolute nightmare getting Service established. Was put on Metro Network first all they wanted to do is get my debit card number. Got put on Sprint network absolutely nightmare unable to get off of that. Can't access any of the app functions for T-Mobile. Constantly losing signal supposed to be 4G network is only 2g and 3g whatever you do don't think of giving up your current carrier. I'm going to go back to visible $40 a month for everything without all this garbage this network sucks constantly losing signal customer service is a lost cause

Stolen Phone
March 26, 2022

I use my government phone for mostly medical emergencies. I am disabled and live alone and since I'm on SSDI I can not afford to pay or maintain a phone myself. I had went a store to pick up food and after 5 minutes when I had left the store I realized I put my phone on the counter but when I went back someone had stolen it. I called Assurance Wireless to let them know that I needed a replacement because my phone was stolen. I was told that the only way to get a replacement is if I filed a police report. Since my police station is not open to the public because of COVID I would have to file over the phone and I was told by my Police Department it could take up to one month to get the report plus I would have to pay for it. When I told Assurance Wireless this they told me they would need the police report within 7 days, there's no way that is possible I told them. They then told me I would have to pay $65 then for a replacement GOVERNMENT phone. I am outraged! I cannot afford that being on disability. I have $0.30 left over in a month after I get paid and pay all my bills. These people do not have any compassion whatsoever. Now if I have a medical emergency I will not be able to call 911. This company should be ashamed of themselves!

THE LIES THEY TELL
March 24, 2022

On Feb 4th my phone's charging port was damaged, so I could no longer charge the phone. I called immediately to request a replacement. I was told I would receive it within 21 to 28 business days. I waited but never received a tracking number, so I called to follow up. Was then told I needed to update my address. No problem. I was then told a new date of arrival. No tracking number, so I called again. I was ASSURED that my phone would be on its way within a few days. No problem. I waited and still no tracking number came. I've called dozens of times since. They always apologize and then promise me something different each time. I've been given so many arrival dates and apologies, it's obnoxious at this point. We are now approaching almost 2 months waiting for a replacement phone that I desperately need. After all of these broken promises and all the waiting, I've just been informed that I will now have to reapply for LACK OF PHONE ACTIVITY! Are we serious!?! Please tell me how I can actively use a phone that you refuse to send me!?! They constantly tell me someone from upper management will be contacting me to resolve my issue. That has yet to happen. This company is a true joke. The customer service agents are obviously encouraged to tell the customer anything they want to without regard, including management. They do not care one bit. It's thoroughly disorganized and unprofessional, with no moral base. Stay very far away from Assurance Wireless. They will waste so much of your time and won't care. I wish I could rate them at 0 stars.

DO NOT USE THESE PHONES! You'll be sorry. Incompetent reps. Dropped calls. Turns off/on all by itself. Won't let me call out or receive calls. Calls are muted without touching phone. Very poor sound quality. Screen keeps blacking out so I can't use phone pad or hang up a call. You have to hit the on button a hundred times for screen to turn on. Internet is inaccessible for half the month. Never ever get an American rep. Btw... They've been telling me they will send a new phone since last year. STILL haven't received one. Probably never will. Foreign reps are probably taking our new phones and giving us sabataged ones.

I have been waiting for my phone to be replaced since May or June 2021. Had to wait til February 11,2022 for a new one. I called back on that day. I was told that it will take up to 21 days to receive it. I called back after 21 days. Was told will receive an email with tracking number in 5 days. Called again told I will receive email within 5 days (again). Called back was told within 24-48 hours. Called again was told it might be 6-8 weeks or longer before I receive a tracking number. It is now 12:01AM Saturday morning March 19,2022 and sill no email with tracking number. I have important calls from Doctors, Lawyer and Disability Services that can't get a hold of me or phone turns itself off during conversation then repeatedly turns on and off. Then you have to remove battery for about 6 hours and then try again. They haven't even attempted to send me a new phone. Just keep giving me the run around. Telling me they have problems because of COVID-19 pandemic of 2020-2021 (not is variants). If I was a new customer they'd send me a phone within 5 days ( service began in Jan 2021, 2 weeks later screen stopped working. They sent me this phone with battery issues within 5days). They wouldn't even answer my question about that. I tried to speak with someone else with authority and was told they are busy and the supervisor will call me back ( was using WIFI TextNow app on another phone).

Beware
March 15, 2022

Phone doesn't work, called customer service (6 times w/6 different 'stories' by reps); ordered a phone which never came, called for refund, which hasn't come either. Every time I call I get another rep w/another story. I've received 6 different stories but still no phone and no money. Can't get a supervisor, don't even know if they have one reported company to BBB and to Attorney General in their state It's now almost two months w/o product or phone. And no response back from the company.

Assurance Wireless
March 14, 2022

This is the worst wireless company out there. I think they may be a scam company. I was given a free phone because of my economic status. They gave me a phone that would not charge. I called the Customer Service Department and they said they would send me another one. I never received it. Anytime I called Customer Service, there was always a bunch of loud noise in the background. They do not deal with your complaints. I called to cancel my service with them, and got transferred to a total different company. Stay away from them!
