From the day that I bought the phone till 2 months later my phone service being shut off having to order a new phone that being shut off not working on the phone with assurance for 2 hours every other day and talking to people who I can just tell have no clue what they are talking about and don't care about me. I finally spoke to a supervisor and she told me to shut up because I said that they didn't do their jobs and just saywhatever they got to say to get off the phone. I am now without a job because of my phone service problems and I did everything I was supposed to do but this terrible company won't even turn my phone back on when they know that they screwed up. Go with Q Link much better.
Everything was great until mid-September. Then my internet started cutting off consistently, every 20-30 minutes. I called Customer Service repeatedly, and they kept saying they would fix the problem. But they didn't. As it is, I have to restart my phone, and/or reset my System Settings, over and over again every day. Why can't they fix this?
Since the merger with sprint it has gotten worse.zero customer service, horrible attitudes on the phone, just disgusting seeing how I've been with them for years, anyone wishing to join class action theft of service fraud suit contact LA firm Pearson Simon and Warshaw
Please do not buy a phone from assurance wireless they will send you a defective phone after charging you 43 dollars and when you request a new phone because the phone, they sent you won't turn on they will send you another defective phone that won't turn on and when you inform them you received another defective phone, they will keep pretending to send you a phone that you will never receive. I have called every week for the last month, and they still have failed to send me a working phone. After charging me for the first defective phone. I have tried to talk to customer service to be told they don't have a customer services team. They are scammers please don't waste your money on these defective phones.
We spent hours on the phone with these people, what a huge waste of time & worse yet they cost us more time, because they used our Lifeline application ID & then wouldn't release it for us to choose another provider.
The customer-service representatives are severely incompetent & the service in our area is really lacking.
We called them THREE times to cancel the order, & their instructions to return the device we mistakenly received were too vague. These people are operating from a rote script, & if you have a problem that's not in their script then you have an unsolvable problem.
The reception is horrible I had a phone turned it in and thought I was getting a better phone it's worst than the other one.
The photos of the guy who looks like a girl works at assurance and is acting like a customer ppl read review let our American families run assurance no the enemy wake up fraud right there poseing as a customer if the will lie and steal they will steal your info no worries
Once a week, I have to call customer service to troubleshoot my phone, and this last time, that did no good at all. This service is terrible! Next month, I will have to spend money I do not really have just to get phone service
My husband is handicapped and they promised him he was recieveing a free phone no worries there words were good news you will be recieveing your free assurance wireless divice today two and a half mo later the never sent it thing is the whole time the were getting money from the lifeline benefit or ACP benefit do not go with this company and I also noticed I was getting strange phone calls I don't know if it possible being I'm a customer myself of I didnt know any better I would say the mess with you divice my internet would go off and on I would try to call someone my phone would hang up does anybody know why this place hasn't been investigated I know the are steal from lifeline and ACP they need reported no one even speaks English but no worries ugh that still rings in my ears all I can say go with this crappy company and the is nothing but worries I suggest going with a company based on the United States I mean these people have our information but no worries

Worse cell phone service to have. Definitely do not recommended to anyone. DO NOT GO WITH THEM they take your money and then they won't refund you the money after they tell you to return the two broken cell phones that I got. I got a cell phone from them cause my old one was broken they told me I needed to pay for the new I did and they sent me one that didn't even turn call them up they sent me another and the same thing it would NOT turn on. Call them up and spoke to rep and they told me I would get a refund back and now we are into three weeks and no refund. Call them and they tell me I'm not getting my money, just like that. This service is a BIG SCAM DO NOT GO WITH THEM OR EVER GIVE THEM ANY MONEY.
No accounting for people who are elderly and disabled and cannot advocate for themselves! Talked to representative, who made statements, asked questions, but when I cannot understand because of a thick accent, does not repeat what he said or answer my questions. Similar experience with supervisor-Francis. Told assure that I am willing to return the broken phone, but it is not reasonable to ask anyone to stay on hold why they "troubleshoot" a broken phone that I am not physically able to get to. COVID! Told if it were lost or stolen that persons with no money could pay $39 for a replacement phone. For a phone they can see has never been activated because it does not work! Is this really worth $39 for this company?! If you can find an alternative, go w another company. Supposed to be a program for people in need of assistance, not an unreasonable, grueling red-tape nonsense process.
I have been a customer for 12 years... when I upgraded my flip phone for a smart phone I was sent a defective phone which they replaced with another defective phone last year. I put up with dropped calls, not being able to answer incoming calls and having to return the incoming call, losing data and directed to incorrect sites. When I lost service they switched me to another cell phone tower and offered to send me an upgraded phone since I have been a long term customer. Phone never arrived but I got 2 emails asking me if I was enjoying my new upgraded phone? Upon reaching Customer Service I was told the phone I was trying to replace was out of warranty (less than a year old) and that I would have to purchase a new phone. Asked about the emails I received and their answer was they were emails that automatically go out and a request for a new phone was never put in. As an 80 year old cancer patient with heart desease I need a reliable phone. My advise: DON'T USE ASSURANCE WIRELESS!
I have had their service twice now and it really went downhill when T-Mobile took over from sprint. I have had to replace dysfunctional phones multiple times and today they refused to replace an even crappier dysfunctional phone with my new service citing I had gone beyond the three month warranty and would have to pay over 39 dollars to probably get another crappy phone. They are a joke. Misleading ads, poor customer service outsourced to foreign countries, no accountability to government they probably get a lot of money and concessions for providing this pathetic service to poor and disenfranchised people. There is no excuse for it! Going with a small company when I can afford it.
I've had assurance wireless for years now. Every single phone they have sent me has not worked properly. Always something wrong. So I always called them and they would send me
"a new phone". NONE OF THESE SUPPOSETELY NEW PHONES WORK. THERE IS ALSAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS SOME PART THAT JUST WON'T WORK. HOWEVER, THIS YEAR THEY ARE COMPLETELY LYING AND PLAYING GAMES. SUPPOSETELY THEY WON'T REPLACE A PHONE THEY SENT ME LESS THEN 3 MONTHS AGO, SAYING THE WARRANTY HAS PASSED. THEY NEVER HAD 3 MONTH WARRANTY ON THESE STUPIT PHONES. THEY ARE INSISTING FOR ME TO PAY $39.99 IN ORDER FOR THEM TO SEND ME A PHONE. MIND U NONE OF THEIR PHONES WORK, SO EVEN IF I PAY, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE I'LL GET A GOOD WORKING PHONE. BUT THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A 3 MONTH WARRANTY. THEY ARE LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH. THEY ARE ALL LOCATED IN PHILIPINES AND THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO CONTACT ANYONE IN USA. SEVERAL OF THEIR WORKERS PROMISED ME A NEW PHONE WITH NO CHARGE, GAVE ME ORDER NUMBER BUT THE PHONE NEVER CAME. WHEN I CALLED, THEY ARE SAYING THERE IS NO ORDER. I WANT TO SUE THIS COMPANY/PEOPLE. I AM FURIOUS. THEY DON'T DESERVE ANY STARS. NO STARS GIVEN.
I just canceled my service with Assurance Wireless today. There are too many complaints about them to be able to list them all. I've researched other companies I could sign up for that are free lifeline government phone services, but they ALL have reviews similar to Assurance Wireless. It's time for me to buy a real cell phone and deal with the expenses.
My advice... well, if you go with Assurance Wireless make sure you have lots of friends/family who can help you use their phones when you don't have service. I truly wish pay phones still existed! Secondly, don't take your phone near ANY water: do not take in bathroom (steam will mess up the cheap phone) and do not take your phone with you anywhere in case of rain or snow, because that will mess up your phone. Thirdly, if you decide to go with Assurance Wireless please make sure you have A LOT of patience, great hearing, LOTS of time to talk to customer service, and please be a sane person because the representatives will drive you insane.

I've relocated 3 months ago and emailed my new address to assurance wireless, however the charger portal on the bottom of the phone no longer holds the charger cord, it's now 2 months I'm waiting for a replacement phone, I have called 5 times already spoke to their lazy incompetent customer service people, i've been promised a new phone in 5-7 business days, over night express and whatever, today I'm told I never changed my address WTH, I still have a copy when I emailed it back in August, I think Assurance Wireless is a scam taking advantage of people down on their luck, they're paid by the government to provide the public a telephone service, and they're scamming the government.
I returned their cheap phone so I can purchase my own LG or Samsung and they kept the phone and my money. 3 months later, everyone has said 7-10 days including managers and given me confirmation numbers that mean nothing. Just liars and thieves.
