The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by persistent customer service issues and delivery failures. Customers frequently report delays in shipping, incorrect items being sent, and a frustrating return process that often leads to dissatisfaction. Many express frustration over the lack of accessible support, relying solely on chatbots for assistance, which often fails to resolve their concerns. While some customers appreciate the product quality, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a declining trust in the company, as unresolved complaints and inadequate communication dominate the feedback. This suggests a critical need for improvement in customer service and clearer return policies.

Asos canceled my order, after being charged, twice without any justification or apology. I've been waiting for orders for 2 weeks. Last time, Asos had the nerve to tell me that there was a problem with my credit card when the order was already paid. Terrible service. I will never buy anything from ASOS again.
I picked up my package from Canada Post and had a COD (collect on delivery charge) of $21.08. I contacted customer service and was connected to an agent via chat. He stated that the charges were custom charges, even though when you look on their website it says for Canada "From July 1st 2020, orders being shipped from the
US to Canada that are under CAD $ 150 will no
Longer be subject to duties. Orders under CAD
$150 will still be subject to sales tax and handling fees." My parcel was $80, so it was under that threshold. He said that the COD was a Canada Post charge, but when I looked at the Canada Post website it says, "Collect on Delivery (or cash on delivery) is a Canada Post service. It allows the sender to collect up to $5,000 from the person receiving a delivery. You can use it on shipments sent within Canada. We collect the payment on behalf of the sender before handing over the parcel, and send it securely to the shipper." I sent this information to the agent as well, and they said, "Putting myself into your situation makes me understand and feel as you do. However, as much as I'd love to provide you an immediate resolution, I'm bounded by our process and this is all the best that I can do for you at the moment." I will never purchase from them again.
I ordered a big order and when received items were missing and they are declining my refund and has blocked my asos account which is very very unprofessional
Will never order from asos again as they cannot solve problems
I was given a gift card to shop at ASOS. Their system would not allow me to use my gift card, even when it was redeemed on my a coj t. I spent hours and tried to work with support over many days and they just wasted my time and made excuses. After purchasing from them and asking for the gift card amount to be deducted and used as a solution, they would not. I then asked for a refund as I didn't want to order with them then. They refused and have effectively scammed me. It's amazing how such a big company can get away with scamming these days. Do not shop with ASOS!
I returned an item and since they received it after 28 days I was too I would receive a gift voucher, however I've never seen it. I wanted to buy something and use this store credit, but my account is empty. After talking to customer service, they told me I would get a voucher within 24 hrs, a few days later still nothing. Order *******
AVOID BUYING WITH ASOS. I went to collect my parcel to the Post Office, and turns out I had to pay a COD fee that wasn't disclosed when I purchased online. Returns are expensive as well, around 20 dlls. Do yourselves a favour and don't use this website.
I paid for a product that was never delivered, I waited one month and a half and then I contacted them and I was informed that the item is now out of stock. Communication is difficult as the replies are automatic and I have wasted time and money. Dont buy
I've been a loyal customer of Asos for many years, but the way they treat me now is unbelievable. My package (of over 200 euros) was 'delivered' at my doorstep and was then nowhere to be seen when I got home. When I emailed them I got a checklist back with 'tips' to find the package:
- View your digital proof of delivery.
- Others at the same address.
- At the neighbors
- In safe places such as behind/between/in, for example, a shed.
- Local post office/pick up location.
It is more than logical that you check with your neighbors whether your package is there. But otherwise they don't want to help me (after several attempts I don't get an answer anymore). Really very customer unfriendly, especially after I've ordered from them so many times before. Do I now have to pay for a package I have never seen? In any case, I will never order here again and I will certainly not recommend it to others from now on, because as soon as things go wrong, unfortunately they are of no use at all.
Ordered clothes and was offered free delivery. Package was not delivered to my home but instead I needed to go to Canada Post office to pick it up. Ok.
When I went to Canada Post was charged additional $68 dollars COD for my $170 order. Unexplained charges by both ASOS and Canada Post. Only accepted cash and debit. Shady.
ASOS customer service was useless.
Their customer service team is extremely frustrating. There was no description of a cropped men's polo. I bought it for my 6' model and the model wearing it is 6'2". The polo is cropped out of proportion it looks like a joke. Description is misleading and images are false advertising. They refuse to assist me with returning and insist I pay $25 on return when the product is $40. Makes no sense. Incredibly frustrating.
I have 10 orders with asos.com, everything was going smoothly until they started shipping only with DHL. DHL in my country delivers only to the capital city, but asos sent them anyways to my address which they never got delivered, from DHL, they said asos is well aware on our delivery policy in your country but for some reason, they still insisted to ship them with DHL.
So for that reason I wont be ordering anymore from this site.
I bought a few pieces of clothing on here and out of the 8 i was only able to wear 6. I bought the clothes at the exact same size I would buy anywhere else and it felt like it was downsized by two.
As canadian customer ASOS made me paid twice the taxes. USA taxes (as I wasn't aware of the discount code for canadians that is not well communicated nor an automatic generated code when you confirm your order) + Canadian custom taxes for the delivery.
ASOS REFUSES to refund you back the 15% amount if you did not apply the code which means that they keep this money in their pocket
That s daylight robbery
Seriously garbage. The customer service reps have absolutely no clue what's going on, or they do know what's going on but won't admit to it. During certain promos, they'll claim *everything* is a certain % off, but when the coupon code doesn't work, AND the item is NOT part of the exclusions for the promo, they'll bs some sort of excuse.
One time they ran a student promo that gave 25% off through UNiDAYS, and advertised it on the banner on their website, but UNiDAYS had not yet uploaded the 25% off coupon (I thought that the normal UNiDAYS coupon would just take off 25%). I can't even remember what the customer service rep said (along the lines of rotten bs), but basically said that I am not eligible for the 25% off coupon. Couple hours later, UNiDAYS uploads the 25% off coupon and everything the rep said was a lie. Not even the slightest bit surprised.
Icing on the cake was today, when I received my package too late, even though I paid for expedited shipping. I bought a hot air brush that my mom really wanted for Mother's Day. Open the package, item's box is visibly used, andddddd *drum roll pls*
There's a big wad of hair on the hair brush bristles! :D
If garbage came in online shopping form, it would be asos.
Shipped wrong product. I ordered a black pant. They shipped a white & brown sweater & unable to create a return label. Wrote them a feedback and got rejected. Horrible customer service
I placed my first order, in UK, paying with my mastercard from EU, I created my first account and my order account got blocked due to not passing security checks and validation, however before placing an order and proceed payment my bank always issue security checks before going through with the placed order.
Received an E-mail saying account got blocked and my order had then been cancelled. I couldn't receive prompt or concrete advise on why my account was blocked? And if I could placed my order back on again. Really disapointing.
I had to reset my password in order to log back into the account.
Honestly first and last time ever, wanna spend time on ASOS, overall poor customer service as cannot satisfy customer needs. Can't even trust If I was to place an order again, if it is going to get cancelled and I will lose my items. Sadly. Better to spend elsewhere.
1St time customer.
- Poor Customer service - couldn't help me further.
- Blocked ASOS account
- Cancelled order by ASOS
I made two orders both orders they were sent to to a address with one number and no street address on it I have no idea why tf they would mail something with no street address I never got my items I had purchased stuff when they were having a sale that they emailed me about that they no longer have I was all excited for no reason a waste of my time and money the items are sold out now their was a product that I actually needed that like I said is sold out now and they took my item that I purchased because once it get to a post office they realize the address was not valid which idk how they didn't recognize that before shipping makes me never want to use this site again idky not just send a email to confirm and verify the address instead of wasting your shipping money and both of our time they are dïck heads I hate this site
Very stylish, and comfortable for all-day use. These are running shoes, but I will be wearing them for regular occasions and maybe training. They look great and fit perfectly, with no complaint of any kind.
Fast delivery, good new collections, good and fast website, fast support. Best online shop!
Terrible customer services. They sent me wrong items and refused to refund. I really thought I could try to keep them without returning but they are size UK20 while I am just size UK4! So I asked them for refund without returns (because I am living overseas and it's so expensive and troublesome for international shipment in the country Im living). I thought they would be flexible and it also states in their returns policy that customers can ask for refund without returns. They told me they couldn't refund if I didn't return the wrong items. Then I asked them if they could issue a promo code or voucher equivalent to the refund or they could just pay me back half of my money without needing me to returning. They said they just could issue me a promo code for 10% discount for my next order. I usually shop online and sometimes receive wrong items from those stores but never did they ask me to return for the refund (although they also have returns policy). I was very disappointed with ASOS and not happy with their CS at all. I had to place the same order and spent a long time chatting with a useless and unhelpful CS staff today. What a waste of time and money.
Answer: Hello Em, Yes it is true. The site has very poor delivery and customer service. I do not recommend it.
Answer: Doubt it, I don't think they sell any knock off's. Depending on the print you got, some of them don't have stripes. Hope that helps.
Answer: No. They will find 101 reasons to screw you out of your money
Answer: No. If anything it has gottten worse.
Answer: Look, as I wrote here I shopped with them many times and I was never disappointed. I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.
Answer: Complain about Asos through the Retail Ombudsman, if more people complain about companies like Asos they will have no choice but to improve their service to their customers.
Answer: Your only option with asos is live chat. I used it just now and also a few days ago and it worked just fine. They solved all my issues. Chat is the only way to contact.
Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
